With Takeover: Tampa tomorrow, there was a little window of opportunity for Alex and the Brotherhood to out think the Bliss Republic. Tonight's card for SmackDown were majority last chance matches for the tag team division. Alexa has organized a non-title match as Raw Tag Team Champions Josh and Elleon faces Moustache Mountain's Trent and Tyler, and by order of Alexa, Tyler and Trent can earn a tag title shot against Josh and Elleon, but they must defeat them via pinfall or submission within a 10 minute time limit.

The Republic co-leader has also organized a champion versus champion match as she puts her husband, the United States Champion Alex against the reigning Intercontinental Champion Travis.

In the locker room of the Brotherhood, Alex has recovered from his sneak attack by his mentor a few days ago. Tegan, Kevin and Roman came to see their leader.

Tegan: how are you feeling?

Alex: still a bit sore physically, but it still hurts emotionally

Roman: look man, I know what you are going through; it happened to me few years ago during my days with the Shield

Alex: Seth chose that path and sold out to the Authority, and he was your "brother-in-arms," but this is my wife were dealing with, the love of my life

Kevin: will you be okay for your match against Travis later?

Alex: Travis is my best friend, and forcing to face him really hits me here

Kevin: same thing when Sami and I fought

Alex: look, if anything happens to me at Tampa tomorrow... Kevin, Roman will do me a favor?

Roman: yeah sure

Kevin: what is it?

Alex: lead the Brotherhood while I'm gone

Roman: what do you mean "gone?"

Alex: I may not survive my match against Randy, seeing how many guys he took out in his career

Kevin: if you go down, we'll all go down with you

Roman: we formed the Brotherhood to take down the Republic, this is our fight too, man

Kevin: we'll give you space, so you can prepare for your match; just hang in there

Roman and Kevin left the locker room, leaving Tegan and Alex alone. The Shiniest Wizard put her hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

Tegan: do you need anything?

Alex: I was gonna ask you if you can be at my corner for my title match tomorrow

Tegan: sure I love to, so you can have some support

Tegan said as she smiled. She then hugged Alex which brought a sly grin on the Pharaoh's face. 

Alex: thank you, Tegan; I just needed some closure

Tegan: sure, if you need anyone or a shoulder to cry on, you can come to me

She put her hand on top of his hand.

Tegan: I know how it feels when anyone close to you; a best friend or in this case your wife is your enemy and your only option is to fight

Alex nodded.

Tegan: hang in there, you'll get through this

Then out of nowhere, Tegan placed a kiss on his cheek.

Alex: what was that for?

Tegan: sorry, I didn't mean to!

Alex: Tegan, it's okay; thanks for that, I just needed some closure

Tegan: no problem come on, the others are waiting for you

Alex went with Tegan and joined the rest of the Brotherhood to watch Trent and Tyler's match for a chance to challenge Elleon and Josh for the Raw Tag Team titles, and they only have 10 minutes to defeat them.

(Elleon and Josh vs. Trent and Tyler)

Out of the gate, Tyler fired a shotgun dropkick on Josh, sending the Fallen Warrior to stumble to his corner, Josh was surprised, but didn't waste any time in firing and trading shots with the big strong boi. With only 10 minutes, Tyler must do what it takes to stay on the offense.

(5 minutes later)

With only five minutes remaining, Trent laid out Elleon for the Burning Hammer, and the Artful Dodger went for the pin only for Josh to break the pin up. Tyler came in and sent Josh over the top rope. As Trent picked Elleon up, the Shadow Ninja got out of his grip and hits Amaterasu straight to Trent's face. Elleon went for the pin, but Trent barely got his shoulder up at two and three quarters.

(4 minutes later)

With 60 seconds remaining, Tyler wasted no time and sends both tag champions in a dizzy airplane spin. The legal man for the Republic was Josh, and Tyler was setting him up for Tyler Driver '97, however Elleon recovered and held Tyler for an open shot for Josh. As the Fallen Warrior went for the shot, Tyler ducked and inadvertently hits Elleon by accident. Josh realized what he has done, but Moustache Mountain took advantage as Trent leveled Josh for the Tyler Driver '97 and the victory with only 1 second left to spare. The victory has earned Tyler and Trent a title shot at Tampa tomorrow.

In the ring, Josh got up and held his neck as Elleon got in the ring.

Elleon: what the hell you hit me!

Josh: it was an accident!

Elleon: your accident caused us the match

The Shadow Ninja shoved Josh. 

Josh: I'm sorry, we'll defeat them and retain our titles

Elleon: make sure no more accidents

They grabbed their tag titles and walked backstage.

(In the Republic's locker room)

The Raw Tag Champions went in to a disappointed Alexa and Randy.

Alexa: you two put on a disappointment

Josh: Bate ducked my punch and it hit Elleon instead by accident

Elleon: I forgave him already, and we will be on the same page tomorrow

Randy: good, we should not disappoint him

Alexa: Alex doesn't know about him yet, but what he told me earlier that he'll be making an appearance during Alex and Travis' match

Travis: Alex is in for a surprise

Alexa: my husband won't know what will hit him

Josh: can't wait, I'm gonna wash up

The Fallen Warrior left for the bathroom. On his way to his locker room, he saw his wife Peyton.

Peyton: are they suspecting something?

Josh: no, good thing they did not

Peyton: Joshy, I don't want to be apart of this anymore

Josh: yeah me too, Alex can't fight him, even with his Brotherhood, he can't defeat him

Peyton: is he even human?

Josh: he's way more than that

Peyton: so we're joining Alex's side?

Josh: for our sake of our lives, yes

Peyton nodded and kissed Josh.

(1 hour later)

It was time for the main event champion versus champion match. Alex was ready and went in fight mode. He grabbed his U.S. title and on his way out, he saw the Brotherhood.

Tommaso: if anything happens, we'll be ready

Dominik: if the Republic interferes, then we will come after them

Alex: thanks guys

Roman: kick ass out there

Alex fist bumped Roman and left the locker room for another emotional match.

(Alex vs. Travis)

The Pharaoh and the American Nightmare stared each other as the once called best friends locked up. The two know each other so well that there was a impressive wrestling sequence.

As they finished, the crowd clapped and Alex and Travis stared each other down. They then locked up and Alex threw him to the ropes to connect a dropkick.

(Minutes later)

Alex nailed an AKO on Travis, but the American Nightmare managed to kick out at two, much to the shock of the Pharaoh. He picked up Travis to hit another AKO, but the Intercontinental Champion countered into a Sharp Attack. Travis crawled to Alex's body and put his arm on top, but Alex still kicked out at two and three quarters.

(End of match)

Alex was setting up for another AKO until Alexa interrupted him on the Titantron.

Alexa: Alex, hey Alex up here!

He turned his attention to the giant screen.

Alexa: I won't take long but this is a warning to you and the entire Brotherhood; at Takeover: Tampa, he'll be coming

With that, the screen faded to black. Alex was confused, but then looked to see Travis measuring up for a superkick, Alex side stepped and Travis superkicked the referee instead. Alex took advantage to hit an AKO. Then the arena went dark. The crowd had no idea what was happening. Then a few seconds later, the arena lights turned on, and in the ring was Randy Orton standing behind Alex. As the Pharaoh turned around, the Apex Predator landed an RKO.

The Viper rolled out of the ring. Then Travis crawled over to Alex's body as the referee recovered to count the pin.

Randy helped Travis out of the ring. As Alex recovered he saw Randy and Travis at the stage. The Viper smirked and pointed at the Titantron. The big screen shows an ominous message which said, "See you at Tampa, your Brotherhood will burn to ashes."

Then Alex heard an ominous laughter as the show ended.
