Cecilion pulled away and knelt before Carmilla's body, now alive and well. Her skin had become pale, and the area below her eyes became darker, yet in his eyes, she's still as beautiful as ever. Cecilion wore such a tender smile, displayed only for Carmilla to see as she slowly rose up from her deep slumber, into her awakening as a blood demon.
It pays with a price, Cecilion's hand is still dripping of his own blood that was used for the blood demon ritual to be done, yet the unbearable pain vanished when he felt Carmilla and respond back passionately with his kiss, that brought her back to life. Cecilion found himself staring and speechless that the woman he loves had awoken back again, his fears of losing her immediately left his body upon realization that she's free.
That they are free to fly together across the lands, amidst their worries.
Carmilla looked back at his grateful orbs, it shimmering under the dim light of the night before she chuckled.
"Did you miss me, my Cecilion?" She asked with the most softest of tones she could manage, and Cecilion felt nothing but love and care from the woman. He felt her cold, pale hands cup his cheeks as she descended down with him onto the ground, regardless if it was cold or rough, it didn't matter.
Carmilla's hand may be cold to touch, yet he still feels her warmth. Perhaps, it is the work of love that creates the ironic feeling, and Cecilion's glad. He is satisfied with this, not having to worry about being miles apart from his soulmate, his destiny, and everything linked.
Carmilla need not to become the princess everyone expected her to be. She need not to come to balls, or royal ceremonies anymore. Her being free as a blood demon, means that she's no longer binded by shackles of being the princess of the castle. She can be whoever she wanted to be, with Cecilion by her side.
"Nothing can tear us apart now, my Cecilion." Carmilla nuzzled her cheek against Cecilion's, with his big strong arms wrapping around the woman as though holding the world in his arms.
"I have missed you, my love... I was so lonely without you. I was desperate to have you back again and when I came back, you were..." Cecilion trails off, and he presses his forehead against hers as she wore a grin. Carmilla understood his story very well. He isn't the only one who was alone. Even with the crowd around her, her heart still longs for the person who was there when she needed a shoulder to lean on, and that is Cecilion.
Carmilla's soft hand sifted through Cecilion's locks, caressing the back of his head in order to soothe him of his worries. It is a rare sight for the lady to see Cecilion in this growing fear of losing her, but she is glad to know that she left a big impact on the man, knowing he had loved her ever so deeply. No man is a match for Carmilla's heart, but Cecilion alone.
Carmilla pulled her man into a tight hug, which he responds to with a smie so wide out of happiness.
"I love you." He speaks out, his heart beating against his ribcage at his devotion for the lady blood demon. Carmilla took his wounded hand and gently caressed the area with her thumb, in order to quicken its recovery pace, now that she as a blood demon now too. She twines that same hand with hers and he pins Cecilion's torso onto the ground, with a teasing grin onto her lips with his back pressed onto the floor, and Carmilla mounted onto his lap that made Cecilion chuckle.
"I love you too..." She spoke of softly, before leaning in once more to pour her love with the movements of her lips, though due to her inexperience, she felt a bit inferior as Cecilion took the dominating stance, his free hand caressing her on the waist to soothe her from her worries, before pulling away from the liplocking session. Carmilla felt a wave of headache upon pulling away, but she masks it with a small smile, not wanting to worry the other.
Cecilion looked deep into Carmilla's red orbs and he hummed in the touch of curiosity. "I can sense your worry, my beloved." He remarks, continuing to caress Carmilla onto her small waist.
"Is there something wrong?" The male blood demon asked that earned him a shake of the head from her. "N-no, nothing, my love. Just... maybe a bit of a headache... But I am fine!" She stutters, showing him no signs of pain lingering with her soft, tender expression displayed onto her face. Little does she know, Cecilion knows better.
