The rejoice of every moment,

lavished in glory

The rising hopes for us to harmonize again

Standing for each other

Growing a bond that is never to be broken

Through the moments gone by,

we have never forgotten a single one

The good,

and the bad.

With smiles,

and with tears

Moments of stress,

When the world is falling apart

We repair together

No one is left behind

We connect like stars in the sky

forming a perfect image

our unique constellation

Laughter fills the room

We all fly together

Free birds with dreams to reach

Glistening of tears rolling down our cheeks

We depart in our separate directions

Promising to follow our glimmer of hope

And meet together again

Wow, it's been a while since I've written a poem that I'm not even sure this should be considered one. Instead, more of a "spill your heart moment". If you guys haven't realized yet, this poem was based on a group of people I have meet and really connected with but sadly had to leave shortly afterwards. Even though I didn't get to know these people well, they were the people that I definitely felt connected to. From the first moment I meet them, the first word we exchanged, the first joke we cracked, I felt that I finally fit in.  The people that I've been waiting all my life for. It's been a year but definitely seemed like only a month. With our summer gone by with nothing but us sitting in a room studying but even more importantly, connecting and building lasting friendships. I really miss them and hope to see them again soon.

Sorry for the little rant...oops!
