Chapter One: Blink
Izuku Midoriya, 4 and a half years old, woke up in his All Might themed room. There was All Might on the walls, All Might on the floor, All Might on the shelves.
Little Izuku's mistake was his wish to meet the Number One Hero in person.
He blinked, and he was suddenly in a different place. He had time to see a skeletal man leap up from a sofa in surprise, before he poofed into a cloud of steam, turning into the hero with a dazzling smile.
Izuku's eyes lit up.
"All Might!!" He cheered, his smile lighting up the room.
The giant man smiled kindly down at the child.
"Hello young man, I must say you gave me quite the surprise! May I ask how you found me?" He asked.
Izuku nodded. "I woke up in my room and thought about how cool it would be to meet you in person!" He said energetically.
"But if I wad in bed.. is this a dream All Might?" Izuku asked.
The giant man chuckled, picking up the tiny greenette.
"No young man, it's not. I suspect we have your quirk to thank for this! Do you know what it is?" All Might questioned.
Izuku shook his head.
"Mummy and me were going to the doctor's today to find out." He said.
All Might hummed in thought.
"Well, your mother will be worried about you, may I ask your name as to return you to her?" The blonde asked.
"Izuku Midoriya. My mummy's name is Inko!" He said. "All Might? Why did you look very thin when I arrived?"
All Might sighed, placing the boy on the sofa.
"It's my real body. I become super muscular when I want to do hero work, so that I can go out shopping in peace. Please Young Izuku, could you keep this a secret for me?" Toshinori asked, now in his skinny form.
Izuku nodded vigorously.
"I won't tell anybody! Even the mean villains, if they ask!" He said determinedly.
Toshinori chuckled, dialling Naomasa's number into his phone.
"When I'm like this, please call me Toshinori young Izuku." He said.
"To.. Toshi... Toshin.. Toshi!!" Izuku said triumphantly.
The newly named Toshi chuckled, putting the phone to his ear.
"That is fine young Izuku. Naomasa? I wanted to ask if a Midoriya Inko called in regarding a missing child. Yes. Yes. Izuku Midoriya. Yes. He's here with me. I think he has a transportation quirk of some kind. Yes, he's fine. Please let Mrs Midoriya know. Thank you my friend. Yes, see you in a bit."
Toshinori put his phone back into his pocket, grabbing his oversized coat and shoes. He regarded the small pyjama clad boy on his sofa, before fishing out some socks and an old jumper for him to wear.
"Here my boy. It's quite cold this morning, so put these on. We will be meeting your mother at the station." Toshinori said.
Izuku nodded, putting them on and walking behind the tall man.
Toshinori opened the front door, turning and picking up the boy and locking his apartment.
He buffed up and leaped into the sky, sheltering the small boy from the harsh winds with his large arms.
Izuku was giggling and cheering, trying to look down at the city below.
They landed outside a police station, where a green haired woman and a dark haired man in a trench coat were waiting.
"I AM HERE, with young Izuku!" All Might declared.
He handed the bundled up boy to the woman, who hugged Izuku tightly.
"Thank you All Might.." she almost wept.
All Might laughed.
"It's quite alright Mrs Midoriya, young Izuku suddenly popped into my living room, and I must say, I've grown rather fond of him." All Might smiled at the tiny boy.
Inko and Izuku smiled back at the huge man.
"Well, now that I'm out and about I should start my patrol. Young Izuku." All Might said.
Izuku looked up at the Hero.
"Should you pop into my living room again, I will bring you back to your mother here each time. If you get lost, or your quirk activates unexpectedly, feel free to pop into my living room again. I'd rather you scare the soul out of me again than remain lost, or get hurt somewhere. Okay?" He said.
Izuku nodded feverishly.
"Naomasa, please give Mrs Midoriya my personal number, should he appear in my home again, or go missing from her end, we can contact eachother. I'm afraid I must be off. Farewell!!" All Might leapt into the sky, towards any crime that needed fighting.
Inko thanked the detective, taking Izuku back home to change then to the doctor's.

Izuku was now 14, and over the years he had gained superb control over his powers. That did not stop him from popping into Toshinori's living room every now and again.
The greenette packed up his bags for the day, ready to go home and talk to Toshi, but his hero analysis notebook was snatched out of his hands.
Bakugo waved it about, scowling at Izuku.
"We're not done here Deku." He said.
Izuku shrugged, putting his bag on his back and walking away from the blonde, to the door.
"Oi! Where do you think you're going? Don't you want y- huh?" Bakugo stared at his empty hand. He was sure the notebook was there a second ago.
Izuku left the school, his notebook safely in his bag, walking down the road and under a bridge.
He heard a sloshy grumble coming from the manhole cover, but he didn't pay it much attention.
The liquidy being left the manhole and raced after Izuku, saying something about hiding in a skinsuit.
"Gross.." Izuku muttered.
The Villain's vision swam and.. he was several meters away from the bridge, with the kid nowhere around.
"Huh?" He said in his distorted voice.
"You must be the sludge villain that T- All Might has been tracking for weeks. Due to your panicked demeanour, I'd say he's finally caught up to you, and you're trying to hide from him again. Well, I'll delay you long enough for a hero to arrive, although I rather suspect he's on his way." Izuku said.
The villain spun around, or, more accurately, his eyes and teeth shifted on his body to look behind himself.
He charged, getting within 3 meters of the greenette before his vision swam again.
"...huh?" He said.
He was back where he started.
The villain charged the greenette a few more times, getting the same result every attempt. He then tried running away, knowing attacking the child was futile.
He ended up back in that one spot.
Izuku sighed, closing his eyes to concentrate.
*You're taking too long Toshi, I'll just-*
And suddenly, All Might was there.
Once his vision cleared, all Might charged the villain, knowing exactly who had brought him here.
"DETROIT... S M A S H !" He yelled, punching forwards.
The villain was ripped to shreds, chunks of sludge flying everywhere.
Izuku wrinkled his nose in disgust, making sure none of the smelly blobs touched All Might or himself.
All Might turned around, making sure nobody else was present, before deflating.
"Hello Izuku. Thanks for blinking me here. I was on his trail, but I probably would have lost him again. He's one slippery b- fellow. I said fellow." He quickly altered his sentence at Izuku's glare.
"It's alright Toshi. At least now you can take it easier, not worrying about this guy escaping again."
Izuku pulled two empty bottles out of a bin and blinked the sludge into them. He handed Toshi the bottles, then held out his hand.
"I'll take us to the alleyway next to Naomasa's station, you can buff up when we get there." Izuku said.
Toshinori smiled at the greenette, taking his hand.
"Thank you my boy." They blinked. All Might's vision didn't swim this time because Izuku had been in contact with him.
They handed the villain over to the police, then blinked to Toshi's apartment.
Toshinori deflated, sinking into his couch with a sigh of relief.
"Thank you my boy. I was beginning to strain myself there." He huffed.
Izuku smiled, plopping down next to his friend.
"It's alright Toshi. I could see the steam on your elbow, so I decided to get us out of there."
The blonde hummed his thanks, sinking into thought.
"UA's entrance exams are coming up. I should probably increase the intensity of your training for them. And.. I have something to speak with you about, but I can save that for another time."
Izuku sighed in resignation.
"My quirk has no limits, and I've mastered all the techniques with teleportation quirks out there, so it'll just be strength training?" He asked.
Toshinori nodded wordlessly, and Izuku groaned.
"I'm already stronger and in better shape than even Bakugo, why do I need to train even more??" He asked.
Toshinori sighed, turning to his protoge.
"There is always someone stronger than you. I know that we come to a draw every sparring session, but there are some out there who may nullify your quirk, or they just have the perfect counter. You need to train for those 2 or 3 moments in your life when you're weaker." Toshi told him.
Izuku sighed, nodding.
"I know, I get it, quirks like Eraserheads erasure, or another teleportation quirk. Just because I understand and will do it anyway, doesn't mean I don't like it. Also, I could totally beat you during our sparring sessions, I'm just cautious, because if I accidentally put you out of commission, then what happens would be bad with 14 a's and a capital B."
Toshinori laughed, ruffling the boy's hair.
"Oi, gettof!" Izuku squirmed.
Izuku escaped his clutches and huffed.
"Mum's making Bolognese tonight. I'm taking your garlic bread." He laughed.
Toshinori gasped. "You wouldn't dare, that's the best bit!!"
Izuku cackled, then blinked home.
Toshinori flung his coat and shoes on, racing out the door.
