(13) The Truth Brought By Nightmares

                         Unis POV
                        *dream*
I was standing in an unfamiliar area. I could feel nothing, sense nothing, I was...Blind. I stood motionless for a moment, then I felt a strange calm sensation. It was a feeling that I'd be okay if I did the one thing I would NEVER do. I smiled slightly, "Okay...Here we go..." I murmured. Then I slowly opened my eyes for the first time in a LONG time. My vision was clear, but all I could see was black. I looked around in confusion, where am I? I wondered. I looked straight ahead, then suddenly I saw a bright light shine from behind me. My eyes widened at the sudden light, making me blink. Then I slowly turned around to greet the beautiful sight. It was a grey could with a moody, bright, image on it, like a video.

There was a person in the clouds image. They were smiling, and they were wearing a bright emoji mask, and I could see nothing of their face above the nose. They had orangish hair, and cat ears, aswell as a tail. They wore a trenchcoat and they had a guitar strapped to their back. Then the image began to move, "You guys are lucky. It seems like your lives were written out for you, and your destiny is already fortold... But I don't even have a darn purpose." The person in the image spoke sadly, the line so familiar. Tommy... I thought with a smile as I watched Tommy move with and speak within the image. I smiled slightly, I wish I could see like this all the time...I thought to myself. Then the image began to fade to black. I frowned slightly, well it was good while it lasted. I thought sadly. Then, another image began to form on the cloud.

I watched curiously as a red-headed girl formed on the cloud. Ashlie... I thought happily as I stared at her image. The image once again phased into a familiar scene, "I'm a warrior." I heard Ashlies triumphant voice say. I smiled as more images and replays of moments of Ashlie played. I smiled brightly, then the images faded to black. Another image began to form. I knew who it was immediantly. Nick... I thought as I stared at the smiling face of the brown-eyed vampire, a small smile in my face. Then a recording-like moment with Nick formed. "The same reason I can do this." Nick spoke, and I watched in amazment as his eyes went from brown to red. I smiled, that is cool. I thought. Then I remembered how oblivious I had been about what Nick was doing that day. More moments played on the cloud, then once again the images faded.

Another image began to form on the cloud. I smiled brightly as Jons image formed, finding the bright colors that he wore beautiful. In the image he was smiling brightly, and he, strangely enough, was holding a small leaf in his hand. He held it against his heart, but I chose not to question it. A moment of Jon began playing on the cloud, "Beware the tracks of mud and darkness!" I listened to Jon blurry out in the cloud. I smiled as other moments flashed on the cloud. The happy jester made me smile. Then the images faded to black, leaving me longing for them to return. Then, a familiar face began to form on the cloud. I smiled as I stared at Cory's camera face. I remembered how I had had a dream like this a few years ago, and I got to see Cory, but he was so much younger then. "How do you do it?" I heard him question as the cloud began to show a familiar moment. "Do what?" I heard my own voice question. Then I saw the cloud showing me and him walking side by side through the forest, "Stay positive all the time!" I stared happily as more images formed along with moving moments. It showed him shooting his bow, and smiling, and many other things. I smiled, then it began to fade. I frowned slightly as the cloud faded to black.

The cloud then grew in size, and I stepped back in suprise. The cloud then began to glow with a moment that I had wished so much that I could see. It was the splash fight that the others had had. I smiled as I watched them happily splash each other, laughing happily. Then a rock was thrown between them, and the image moved to show Cory and I on the shore, smiling and panting. "Take that!" Cory exclaimed happily. I smiked, then the image faded. "Did you enjoy that?" I sudden, painfully familiar, robotic voice question from behind me. I stiffened, then I slowly turned around. I saw a familiar, evil-looking robot behind me. My eyes widened, "Graser!" I snarled.

The robot seemed to smile, "Hehe, why hello, Uni." He growled in return. I narrowed my eyes at him, "Why are you here!?" I yelled angrily. Graser smirked, "To remind you that these good moments won't last forever." He said simply. I growled under my breath, "How so?" I questioned. "I won't let you hurt them!" I yelled. Grasers eyes flashed with triumph, And he stepped towards me. "Oh dear Uni, I won't be the one who hurts them..." He said. I stared at him in confusion, "Then who will?" I questioned nervously. Graser laughed darkly. "Hehe, You will."

My eyes widened, "No...I would never hurt them!" I screamed. Graser chuckled, "What? Do you really think that blindfold will stay on forever? Do you really think that you can prevent the inevitable?" He questioned. I was silent fhor a moment, and I began to walk slowly backwards. "N-No... That'll never happen!" I yelled, and Graser narrowed his eyes at me. "Mhmm, and I supposed you also believe that I won't find you? That you and your... 'Shred Squad' will make it out of this okay?" He questioned. I stared at him, "Y-Yes..." I stuttered. Graser growled, "Well then, I guess we've figured out your problem." He growled. "What problem?" I questioned. Graser stepped towards me, "You are blind in more ways then one!" He snapped. "What?" I questioned. He scoffed, "You idiot...You are blind to the reality that you are now facing. You believe that everything will be alright...I thought of all people you would understand that things don't work out that way." He said darkly.

"No...Graser...The future is brighter than it may appear." I snapped. Graser shook his head, "No...It's too dark for you to even see." He retorted. I frowned, "Maybe if you'd look at it the right way, then it wouldn't seem so dark." I muttered. Graser laughed, "I guess death is pretty great!" Graser exclaimed. I frowned, "Whatever reality you believe is to come, I won't let it happen." I said, determination feuling my tone. Graser growled, "I don't think you have a choice." He growled. Then he tapped his foot on the ground, and 5 dark clouds formed around Graser and I. I stared at them, and I began to notice that familiar faces were forming on them. And soon enough Ashlie, Nick, Tommy, Jon, and Cory's faces were on the clouds. They were all smiling, and joy shone in their eyes. All the pictures were from part of the shoulders and up only. I stared at the pictures around me, then I looked at Graser. "What are you planning?" I questioned. Graser smirked, "I have nothing planned...Im simply showing you a little bit of the future."

I raised an eyebrow at him, "The future?" I questioned. He smiled darkly, "Yes...Now open your eyes and LOOK." He snapped, gesturing to the picture of Ashlie. I stared at her smiling face, wondering what I was supposed to be looking for. Then, I saw the photo begin to change into a less happy picture. I gasped quietly as I saw her skin began to pale, and her bright, excited eyes dimmed and turned into a look of pure horror, and tears ran down her cheeks. Her mouth went from a smile, to a scared frown. I saw her bright red hair begin to look messier, and her blue sweater was dirty, dried blood painted the front of it. A deep cut formed on her forhead, and on her shoulder. A deep, bleeding gash formed on her neck, and a trail of blood ran down her neck. I stared at the image in horror, then I glared at Graser. "What did you do to her!?" I yelled. Graser chuckled darkly, "I didn't do anything to her...Now, shall we continue?" He questioned, gesturing to Nicks picture.

I looked at Nicks picture nervously as it began to change. Nicks eyes changed from a happy brown color, to a horrified red color. His messy black hair grew more messy, and his glasses cracked. His vest became smeared with blood, and one of his fangs dissapeared, being replaced by blood. Three bloody claw marks slashed his cheek, and a large bloody gash formed in his neck. Blood dripped out of his mouth, and dripped onto his shirt. I stayed silent as the image stopped changing.

"Shall we continue?" Graser questioned, gesturing to the cloud with Tommy on it. I sighed as I stared at Tommys cloud. I watched as his cat ears dissapeared and reformed down, out of fear and anger. His smiling mouth was replaced by his bared teeth, frowning angrily. His hair began to grow messy. then, a chunk of his mask disapeared. It was a small area, and it revealed his eye, which had remained hidden until now. It was bright yellow, and it looked like a cat eye. It was filled with a fearful rage that made me uncomfortable. One of his ears grew a bleeding gash in it, and once again, his neck grew a deep, bleeding gash. Blood dropped out of his nose and mouth. I stared at the image in horror. Graser seemed to enjoy this, "Now for number four." He said, gesturing towards Jons picture.

I frowned as the small jester began to transform. His colorful jester hat disappeared from his hat, and his bright clothes become covered with dirt, and smudged with blood. His bright, violet eyes became dull and filled with fear and horror. Thick tears ran down his cheeks, and his mouth was slightly opened in suprise. Blood dripped down his lip, and dried blood stuck in his hair. One of his elf-like ears had a large, seemingly painful nick in it. Three deep claw marks began from the top of his face to his chin, bleeding heavily. And as always, a deep gash stained his neck, leaving a waterfall of blood leaking down. I felt tears begin to prick my eyes. "No..." I murmured.

Graser smiled, "Yes...Now, this one us my favorite!" He said cheerily, gesturing to Cory's picture. I stared fearfully at the image, and gasped at what began to happen. His hair became messier than usual, and his shirt became covered in dirt and blood. But the worst thing was...His camera lense was shattered, leaving a thick, black liquid running down his face. The black liquid ran out of his mouth and nose aswell, resembling blood. And a deeper gash stretched across his throat. I brought my hands up and covered my mouth in horror, and I felt tears run down my face. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no...." I murmured repeatedly, then I turned to Graser. "WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO THEM!?" I screeched. Graser shook his head, a satisfied smile on his face. "I didn't do this....You did." He Saud simply. I bared my teeth, "I'd never do that to someone I care about!" I snapped bitterly.

Graser looked at me and frowned, "Oh really?" He questioned. "Yes!" I snapped. He chuckled darkly, "Uh-Huh...That isn't what I remember." He said darkly. "W-what?" I stuttered. Graser took a step towards me, "Don't you remember..." He growled. "Remember what?" I snapped. "Your town...Your parents..." He reminded me. A wave of guilty washed over me like a tsunami. "Y-Yeah...You killed them!" I snarled. Graser only scoffed, "Now, Now...We both know that I didn't kill them." Graser said. I felt tears run faster down my face. "Y-Yes you did..." I stuttered. Graser frowned, "No. I didn't. You did...You know you did." Graser growled. I stepped back, holding my head, "N-No..." I murmured. Graser stepped towards me again. "You keep telling people, telling yourself, that I killed them...and at this point I don't even know who you're trying to fool anymore." Graser said. I held my head tightly, my body shaking rapidly. "No...NO!" I yelled. "Stop denying it! I watched you kill your parents! I watched you slaughter every innocent soul in that town, then you burned it to the ground!" Graser snapped. I stumbled back, "No...I would never...I wouldn't...I couldn't..." I stuttered, tears streaming down my face. "Stop denying it! You know what you did!" He snapped. "No!" I cried. Graser scoffed, "I knew you were weak.
You can't even stand and face your own guilt....You're pathetic..." Graser growled. "No!" I screamed, and quickly turned around, expecting to see darkness...But instead I saw my worst nightmare...A mirror.

I stared wide-eyed at my reflection.
My eyes were pure black, all except for the red circles in my eyes, with small, diamond shaped pupils. Thick black tears fell down my cheeks, staining my skin. My blindfold was nowhere to be seen, and I began shaking as I stared at my reflection. Blood stained my clothes, and splattered on my face. My teeth were sharpened, and I was scaring myself. "Reconise yourself?" I heard Graser question, but I was to horrified to speak, then...I felt the world around me begin to fade. I was finally waking up. "Don't forget who you are..." I heard Graser say as I shut my eyes, and that was the last thing I heard before I woke up.

A/N DANG! THIS JUST GOT REAL! I hope you enjoyed this! And as always, I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY, AND GOODBYE MY LOVELY DOVES!!!!
