Prologue

(If you haven't read the first book 'Blindfold', then I HIGHLY suggest you do so before reading this, because it contains spoilers. Thank you :3 )

                        *Flashback*
The giant robotic man watched the town from the top of the hill that dipped into the town. No one had noticed him yet, but he didn't care, he was going to destroy the town whether anyone tried to stop it or not. He stared down at a house, it was small, but it had two stories. Light blue paint covered the outside, and some flowers were planted in the front of the house. The robot smirked, that was the house that he would start off with. "Shelby!" He called, and not even a minutes later, and girl with bright red hair formed out of the shadows beside him.

"Yes, Graser?" She questioned. Graser pointed at the house, "We'll start with that one." Graser saud, and the girl smiled. "Good choice, sir." She said. "I'll go in first, you follow, and I'll tell you what to do from there." He explained, and the girl nodded. "Let's go." He said, his body melting into a shadowy fog. He blast down the hill quickly, heading towards the house. He soon arrived in the shadows of the house, and he slowly made his way to the front door, slipping under it with his shadowy, fog-like form.

Graser reformed right infront of the door, and he looked at it through narrowed eyes. He gestured towards the door, and a black fog began to cover the door, blocking the exit. He flicked his hand, and several small orbs of darkness blasted out of nowhere, looking for exits to cover. Graser then walked forward through the living room. He walked until he found a doorway, then he peeked into it. There was a women with grayish-black hair, she was talking to what seemed to be a robot. "When the time comes, you'll know how to use it." She said, then the robot noticed him, and it gasped.

The women turned around to face Graser aswell, her eyes narrowed. "Who are you?" She snarled, and he walked out, standing in the doorway. "I'm Graser." He growled with a dark smile. "And what are you doing here?" She hissed. "Oh, you'll see..." he growled with a dark chuckle, slowly pulling a long sword out of his dark cloak. "Everyone will see..." He continued, then he felt something hit his back. He stiffened, and slowly turned around, scoffing at what he saw.

He turned around to see a tall, skinny guy with brown hair holding a sword. The man looked suprised, but his gaze still burned with rage. "Stay away from my wife!" He yelled, swinging the sword. Graser chuckled, grabbing the sword out of mid-air as the man swung it. His eyes widened, and Graser smiled darkly. He grabbed the man's arm and swung him with powerful force. He swung through the air and hit the wall beside his wife,  crippling to the ground. "Bane!" The women exclaimed, crouching next to him. He sat up, glaring at the giant robot darkly. The women looked at the blue robot, "Dawn-" She began, but Graser cut her off.

"I don't think so! Power down!" He ordered, pointing at the robot. A shock of electricity shot from his finger and him the robot. It began to glitch out, stumbling back. It's back hit the wall, and it slid down in, leaning against the wall on the ground. It's blue colors faded as it shut off. "Heh, I thought it would put up more of a fight." He hissed, then he looked back at the couple infront of him, "No matter...Now it's your turn." He hissed, but something made him pause.

He felt something beating on his metal from behind. "No!" The women yelled. He turned around, and saw a small boy beating on him. The boy stopped when he saw the robot looking at him. He stepped back, standing tall and facing to robot. "Get away from my family you oversized tin-can!" He yelled. Graser chuckled darkly, "You're a brave one, aren't ya?" He questioned. The boy had grayish-black hair like his mother, and his eyes were an orangish-brown color. "What a shame....Shelby!" He called, and suddenly a girl appeared out of the shadows behind him.

She hooked her arms on the boys, pulling them back so that he couldn't use them. "Bring him here." Graser ordered, facing the parents once more. Shelby nodded, bringing the boy to stand infront of  the giant robot. The boy bared his teeth at Graser. "Oh, a fiesty one...What's your name, child?" He questioned. "What's it to you!?"  The boy screamed. "Oh come on, there's no reason to be like that." Graser hissed. "Graser! Leave him be! Please, he's only a child!" The mother screamed. "Oh calm down, I'm not going to kill him... He's perfect for my plan..." Graser hissed. Graser glared at the boy once more, "Now, what. Is. Your. Name?" He snarled. "Uni!" The boy exclaimed bitterly.

"Well, Uni...You're going to become an important part of my plan..." Graser muttered. "Now, say goodbye." He hissed, but before Uni could question it, Graser put his finger to the boys forehead, and the boy began to scream in pain. The boy screamed in agony, and his mother began to cry behind him. The boy cried for a few moments, then he fell limp in Shelbys arms. Graser bent down to his eye level.

"Awake, my weapon." He ordered, and the boys eyes slowly opened. But instead of the eyes that he had seen earlier, the whites of the boys eyes were black, and his irises were red, while his pupils were in the shape of a star-like diamond. The boy straightened up, a twisted smile on his face. "You know what to do." Graser said, handing the boy a long daggar. The boy nodded and turned to his parents, who gasped at the sigh of him. "Honey, what did he do to you!?" She exclaimed. "Oh,͝ ҉m͢oth͢er͜...̷Ì'm ͟f̀i̴ne͟.̡" The boy said, his voice sounding strange and contorted, almost like many people speaking at once. Then, he leapt at his parents with the daggar.
                    *Flashback End*
Graser sat, thinking of the moments when he had first found his weapon. "You were so strong...But now you're so foolish." Graser growled. "Graser, sir." Shelbys voice suddenly suprised him, and the looked at her, "Yes?" He questioned. "They made it to their destination, and now they have the map." She reported. Graser growled, smashing his fist into the ground. "We CAN'T let them make it to that destination! If he finds out what he is truly capable of, we don't stand a chance!" He snarled. Shelby nodded, "We'll catch them, they surely won't make it to that destination." She assured, and Graser hissed, standing up. "You're right, but we must be COMPLETELY sure that they don't! We CAN'T afford a loss that strong!" He growled, turning away from her and beggining to walk into the woods. "Come, my pet. We have much work to do."
