                           Uni's POV
I sat in silent suprise at Cory's story. After all these years, he'd never told me any of these dark origins...Though, it was quite hypocritical of me to get angry at him. Everyone was silent, leaving an uneasy feeling in the air. "I'm sorry..." He said quietly, and I knew it was directed towards me. "Uni...Please say something..." He sighed, and I clenched my teeth, "Fine..." I sighed. "It hurts that that's your past, Cory...But the past is behind us now, and It's who you are now that matters..." I said quietly.

"Thanks for telling us, Cory..." I finished. I heard him sigh, "I should've told you guys earlier...But I was...Scared, I guess...." Cory admitted. "Don't worry, Cory, that didn't change what we think of you." Jon said, and I could hear by the way his voice sounded that he was smiling. "Yeah, Cory, I'm glad you trust us enough to tell us that." Ashlie added. "Agreed." Tommy said quietly, and I nodded in agreement. "I don't blame you, I'd be nervous too." Dawn admitted as he finished patching Cory up. Cory laughed quietly, "You guys are calmer than I thought you'd be..." He admitted.

"We've all done some pretty bad things, Cory...We understand where you're coming from." Ashlie said with a light-hearted tone. Tommy stood up, "Should we keep moving?" He asked. I got up, "I guess so." I sighed. Everyone else huffed, standing up slowly. Dawn helped Cory stand, and he thanked him, then, we headed out. We walked for a few minutes, Tommy walking a little ahead of everyone, alone. "There's a town nearby, we should stop there to get some medical supplies." Dawn said from in front of us.

"Is it far out of the way?" Tommy questioned impatiently. Dawn shifted uncomfortably, "Not much..." He said  a bit quieter. Tommy sighed, "Fine, whatever, let's just get there fast." He said simply. "We don't want to delay our arrival." Tommy hissed. "Tom, you need to chill out. We'll get there eventually, there's no rush." Cory stated. Tommys ears went back, "Don't tell me to 'chill out', worm." He hissed. "Both of you stop." Ashlie and I ordered in unison. "Sorry..." Cory muttered, and I heard Tommy sigh in annoyance. I shook my head silently, This is gonna be a long journey... I sighed.

After about 20 more minutes of walking, we approached the town. The buildings and shops were build by wood, and stood tall amongst the trees. Unlike other towns we'd visited, there was no gate or wall around the town, allowing us all to just walk into the town. Everyone looked arpund, while I tapped my feet, sensing every building and person that touched the ground in this area. "Well...It seems they do have a medical shop here, wait here, I'll be right back." Dawn said, and I heard him walk away, leaving the 5 of us alone in the middle of the town.

I felt the gazes of many of the townspeople boreing into us. Tommy was thoroughly annoyed, I could sense it, and it made me feel uneasy. His tense body made me think he would snap any moment. And sadly, my hypothesis was correct, because after a few moments of everyone staring at us, Tommy snapped. "Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't aware this was a zoo!" He snapped, his tail thrashing behind him. "Do we look like we're on display for you all to gossip about?" He snarled, "No? So get lost!" He growled, and I heard people shuffling away from the scene.

And, as if on cue, Dawn walked out of the shop, a satchel hanging over his shoulder. "I got the stuff." He said, but he paused as he saw our uneasiness. "What happened?" He asked us. Tommy sighed, "Lets just go..." He hissed, marching angrily forward. "We'll tell you later." Jon sighed, and we all hurried forward, trying to catch up with Tommy. We finally caught up to him, and, as a group, we all left the town together. "Can you believe those people!?" Tommy hissed. "The way they were staring at us, we might as well have been a band of pigs!" He complained, "What even happened?" Dawn asked, leaving us to explain.

                           ???'s POV
I limped aimlessly through the forest. I held my right arm tightly, and winced with every step. My large wings dragged the ground near limply behind me. I glanced back, seeing that one of my darkly colored wings seemed broken, making me flinch in pain as I attempted to move it. I sighed. I was lost, alone, injured, and helpless. I looked around everywhere, looking for a sign of any life form, but I saw nothing, not even a bird. That's when I noticed something on the ground that made me stop completely...Footprints. It seemed as though they had been made by 5 or 6 people. A weak smile crossed my mouth as I looked at them. They didn't seem too old, which meant they were close. "Very promising..." I croaked, beggining to follow the footprints through the unfamiliar, dangerous forest.
