Raphael was outside on the rooftops, thinking to himself. He didn't expect all of this to suddenly happen. He only wanted to be with Sunset, and now he was on the verge of potentially losing his first human friend. He sighed to himself. What if the world would end because of this dark entity? "Hey Big Guy," said Sunset as she walked by, and stood next to her boyfriend. "Hey," said a nonchalant Raph. "Guess there's no way I should bother asking if you're okay," said Sunset. "You know me too well," said Raph, "besides, I could never lie to you." Sunset chuckled a little. They were silent for a few minutes. "I'm just scared right now," admitted Raph, "the world is probably going to end, and April could die..."

"I understand," said Sunset, "I'm scared too. I'll admit, I didn't expect all this to happen..."

"Still, I have a question," said Raphael. "What is it?" asked Sunset. "Well, I get that you came to New York to investigate all these mysterious deaths," acknowledged Raph, "and now that you know, what now? If we survive all this, what then? What about us? Are you going to go back to Equestria with your brother?" Sunset hugged him and said, "Before I came here, I debated with myself whether I should've gone home also... I came here for one last adventure... but now, I want to stay in New York. To be with you, because I love you Raphael." He smiled. He didn't need to see her or hear her heartbeat to know she wasn't lying. They were two souls meant to love each other. "I would rather die tomorrow knowing you," said Raphael, "then live tomorrow never knowing you..." Sunset smiled and kissed him on the lips. They kissed, holding each other.

A few minutes later, Garrett and Leonardo walked in. They realized they were interrupting their siblings, and blushed. However, Raphael could hear their heartbeats, and stopped kissing Sunset. He and Sunset looked at their brothers. "Sorry, we didn't meant to interrupt," said a bashful Leonardo. "How's April's condition?" asked Sunset. "Worsening," admitted Garrett, "we had to restrain her in Donnie's lab as she kept on thrashing in her sleep, kind of like sleep walking."

"Or in this case, a nightmare," said Raph. "But we do have some good news," said Leo, "Garrett's girlfriend responded. She actually has some good advice that could help us." Garrett handed his sister the journal, and she looked at the journal, reading aloud...

My Dear Beloved Garrett,

I'm glad to know that you're safe with your sister and her love, and his brothers. I'm sorry to hear that Dark Heart is torturing and possessing their human ally. However, I may have some suggestions that could help you stop Dark Heart, while keeping April alive. I would suggest casting a spell that could put you, your sister, and her new friends into April's mind so that you could all fight Dark Heart in there. But then I realized that there's a likelihood that Sunset didn't think to bring a spell book with her, no offense Sunset. But then I realized a better alternative. Your sister's psychic connection with Raphael could hold the key to entering April's mind and stopping Dark Heart! From what your sister has written to me, Raphael's younger brother Donatello is a genius inventor. Donatello could create a machine that relies on your sister and Raphael's psychic connection, thus giving you all a fighting chance. I hope you and your newfound friends can take my advice and stop Dark Heart once and for all. I wish you nothing but the best of luck, and I hope you survive so that I may hold you in my arms once more when you return to me.

"She never ceases to amaze me," said Sunset when she finished reading the letter. She smiled. "Donnie's currently working on the invention right now," said Garrett, "he could use your help on shaping the machine." Raphael nodded and said, "Sure thing. We should get Casey. We could use his help. Come on, let's go inside." And so, Raph, Sunset, Leo, and Garrett went inside the sewers to get ready to rescue April. Whether they would succeed, that was for them to find out.
