Meanwhile in the real world, everyone was beginning to wake up. April's appearance was back to a human form. Mikey yawned and opened his eyes, saying, "Man, what a trip." He took off his orange helmet. After taking off his purple helmet, Donnie got up to unrestrain April. "Sorry about that April," he apologized, "you were flailing around in your sleep and we had to take precautions." April chuckled and said, "don't worry I won't take it personally."

"Welcome back to the land of the living Everypony, err, I mean everyone!" said Garrett as he took off his green helmet. Sunset yawned, looked at her boyfriend and said, "Hey big guy." Raph yawned, then said, "guys... All I can see is bits of red right now..."

"Red?" asked a confused Leo, "what do you mean all you can see is bits of red right now?" Sunset helped get Raphael's red helmet off as he said, "everything was pitch black, but now that's changing, it's like..." She then took off his mask, and everyone gasped at the surprise before them. All of the scars around Raphael's eyes were gone. His blind eyes looked like his old emerald green eyes. He blinked in surprise. "I can see..." he said in surprise. "You can actually see now?" Michelangelo asked in surprise. "Yeah Mikey," replied Raphael as he looked at his little brother for the first time in a year. He smiled, happy to have his sight back. "How is that possible?" asked a dumbfounded Donatello.

"I might have a hypothesis," stated Garrett. "Like what?" asked Sunset. "Well, a lot of us were exposed to Equestrian Magic," explained Garrett, "Raph, your first exposure to Equestrian Magic was when you sparked with my sister. You were exposed to more magic when you two had your psychic connection. And when you shared auras to defeat Dark Heart with your love, that was a lot of magic you used. All that Equestrian Magic was slowly, but surely healing you. A side effect."

"So you're hypothesizing that our magic cured Raphael's blindness?" asked Sunset. "Precisely," replied Garrett. "Almost like Superman gaining his powers due to his Kryptonian cells being exposed by the yellow rays of the sun," theorized Donnie. "Yeah... Let's go with that..." said Garrett, having no idea who Superman was. "Wait, I just realized something Sunset..." said Raphael, "I can no longer hear your thoughts..." Sunset felt her forehead and said, "you're right... I can't hear your thoughts either... it's almost like our psychic connection was cut..."

"Regaining your sight at the cost of your connection with each other," observed Garrett, "how fascinating..." Raphael then embraced his girlfriend and said, "Well I don't need any psychic connection to know that I still love you. I'm happy with what I got. And I wouldn't have it any other way." Sunset smiled, stroking his cheek, saying, "And I love you also. Whether you're blind or not, and whether we have a psychic connection or not, I'll always love you for the man you are, Raphael." The two then embraced each other, kissing on the lips. There was not a dry eye in sight of this room.
