Everyone gets shocked seeing a limping laksh and the most shocked was swara. Laksh remained as it he was expecting the situation and remained silent. His family is kind of tensed about Gadodiyas reaction. Ragini finds it all weird as she's sure swara's father will never select such a groom for swara nor will she agree for it. Shekhar started with hesitation

"Durga ji.. Lakshji's leg..." Shekhar whatever it is, is a bit afraid of Durga prasad.

"woh.. Shekhar ji during college times my son had an accident and from then he started limping. We tried various treatments but doctors finally gave up on him" he said with a shivering voice.

" but why didn't you say this to me beforehand durga ji. I would've cancelled the alliance at the start itself. Do you think I'll sell my daughter just because he's rich" Shekhar asked a bit angry.

"I'm sorry. We didn't mean to hide it. We informed the match maker about it but guess he didn't inform you. Other than the limp my son is no way less in any way. Its him who manages our all business and is one of the successful business man of the country" dp said not liking the way shekhar said about his son.

"and what do you think? Just because he's rich I'll marry this handicapped? Now i understand why even after being the community head you wanted to marry your son with a half bengali like me. Just because I'm not your community doesn't mean I'll agree to marry this limping horse " swara said with poison dripping in her voice.

" shut up swara. You can't insult the guests like this. It's not like they tried cheating on you. It's a misunderstanding. If you don't like then you can simply say it politely " ragini said unable to bear the words swara used on laksh just because he's disabled.

" what wrong did swara say ragini? How could they hide such a big fact from us? "Shekhar asks not liking a bit of ragini's interference.

Laksh who was calm even when swara insulted him shot his head up when he heard ragini's name. His eyes tried registering every bit of her feature as that's all he could able to do. His mind craved to hug her but he feels helpless. His whole heart overflowed with joy when ragini took stand for him.

"they didn't hide baba. It's the marriage broker who failed to convey the details. What's their fault in all this?" ragini asked unable to bear Shekhar's behaviour.

"oh.. So will you marry him if the alliance is for you" swara asked with hatred dripping in her voice.

Ragini stood freezed at her question. Before she could answer laksh shouted.

"i only want to marry you swara because i love you. Please don't insult her just because she took stand for me" laksh said trying his best to make it sound convinced.

Everyone in the place looks taken aback with this piece of information. This time it's ragini who's more hurt. She herself didn't know the reason but when laksh said he loves swara she felt terrible. She looks at laksh who looked at her as if he wanted to cage her with his stare. He was doing the same from the time he entered. It felt as if he tried conveying something to her soul. His stare held so much power yet PEACE. She wish she could get arrested in that glare forever. Annapurna's voice brought everyone back to the situation.

"it's the truth. Don't know why but my son loves you and is adamant to get married to you. Else why do you think we will be here getting insulted. Infact i and Janki are childhood best friends. We promised that when ragini and laksh were born we would get them married. After janki's death i lost contact with this house but still wanted ragini for her son. But her son wants to marry only swara and no one else. That's the reason we are here " Ap said with an anger filled voice unable to take the insult faced by her son and husband.

" Don't even dream of it please. Many can love me but I can't marry everyone. You all can go" swara said with attitude.

Ragini who was already having it difficult gets more hurt when she got to know that laksh chose swara over her like everybody else. She decides to remain quite as she felt she doesn't have any rights to interfere.

"Can i speak with you in private for sometime" laksh asked shocking everyone.

Swara immediately said NO.

"it's not like I'm going to kidnap you. I just need to confess my feelings to you. Rest is your choice" laksh said plain.

Swara after giving it a thought nods yes and they both goes to terrace. After some 15 minutes they both came back. Swara is glowing with happiness and immediately gives her nod to the marriage while laksh remained calm.

" beta. How can you.." Shekhar started but swara cut him off.

"baba. Its my life and I realised how much he loves me. So I'm definitely going ahead with this marriage" swara said as if it doesn't matter Shekhar agrees to it or not.

Ragini felt as if she's stuck in some drama but at the same time it pained her to see swara and laksh together. She somehow controlled her self. The maheswaris didn't like swara a bit but kept quite for laksh as they know how adamant he is. They decided to do the engagement next week. They decided to give swara and laksh a week time to get to know about each other as everything is happening in haste. They don't want both to regret after marriage.

Maheswaris starts leaving after finalizing things when someone stepped out of the crowd all of a sudden and introduces himself as Sanskar Maheswari, son of Sujatha and Ramprasad Maheswari.

"Sorry for interrupting elders but i would like to marry Ragini. I liked her the instant she took stand for my brother and i want such a wife for me" sanskar said shocking everyone to the core. The most affected are ragini and laksh.

" sanskar what are you saying? Is that a joke to you" ap asked upset at the fact that ragini going to be the sister in law of laksh. She still had hope for raglak relationship.

" why jiji.. What's wrong? When laksh can choose his life partner then why can't Sanskar. I support my son in his decision as i already liked ragini a lot." Sujatha said elated at the fact that she's getting a better daughter in law than ap.

She urges Ramprasad and he asks for ragini's hand to Shekhar who immediately nods yes without consulting ragini. Ragini feels as if she's about to faint. She's always that girl who never went against elders saying no matter if she likes it or not. So she stayed quite. She suddenly felt to look at laksh and lifts her head up only to find a furious laksh who's gritting his teeth controlling his anger. His hands balled into fist and he immediately storms out of the house but none noticed him except ragini.

Everyone are discussing about ragini and sanskar engagement and decides to do it at the same day as swalak.

Ragini stood mute spectator while Sujatha and sanskar are the most happiest. Shekhar felt like he hit a jackpot as both his daughters are going to rule the Maheswaris. Swara, Sumi and Dida didn't like it but decides to keep quite while ap leaves disappointed followed about others. Everyone left to their room while ragini is the only one who cared about laksh and wonders where he is and why did he leave..
