Natsu's POV

I took Lucy to a big open field, not so she could see it but so she could be free to walk and not run into anything. The look on her face was pure joy and excitement. She ran so fast that I actually had a hard time keeping up. She laughed historically and we played together like we were little kids again. (Like we don't do that every day.)

But sadly the sun set and started to get dark. Lucy of corse didn't notice and was smiling as brightly as ever. She was kicking her legs up and down and she lay on the grass humming a lovely tune.

"Is it just me or is getting chilly?" She asked sitting up.

"The sun has set, its probably around nine or ten o'clock at night." I answered her flatly.

"What! Why didn't you tell me earlier? We have to get back home before we are both blind!" She dragged me.

"Lucy, wrong way." I stopped her from wandering further into the field.

"Whatever, you lead." She covered her cloudy brown eyes with her bangs.

Lucy's POV

Natsu took my wrist and walked us back to my apartment, Happy again had fallen asleep in my free arm. He is taking advantage of me way too much!

Natsu put my hand on something metal and took Happy from my arm, when I realized what he was doing.

"No!" I tried to grab any part of him I could. "Please go through the door this time, not after what happened last time."

"I wasn't, we aren't to you house yet. I was letting you hold onto that bar while I took Happy, I thought you would be tired of carrying him. Thats all." I could imagine him smiling, I missed his smile. I would do anything to see him smile again, I am pathetic, it hasn't even been a day yet!

Now that Natsu had Happy, we kept walking.

"How dark is it now?" I asked simply.

"Almost dark." He stopped.

"Well lets hurry!" I pushed him forwards giggling.

"If thats what you want." And he took of running, pulling me with him.

"Natsu, your crazy!" I screamed as he dragged me behind him, barely able to keep up. I probably some up the whole town, but at the moment I didn't care.

"Tada!" Natsu jazzed.

"Whats...that supposed...to mean?" I asked trying to catch me breath.

"Oh, right. We're home!" I heard a creaking of a door, I stopped everything. Natsu just opened the door, not slammed it, he did it without breaking it! This was something to put in the world record book! But then I spoke too soon.

He lead me up to my apartment door and I heard a wood splintering crash!

"Natsu!!!! What did you just do?!" A dark aura surrounded my body.

"S-Sorry! It was just instinct!" He stuttered.

I was right, he can do it once but twice in a row was too much. He knocked down my front door, now I was open to the rest of my neighbors.

Sighing I walked inside and heard probably trying to prop the door back up on its frame.

"Hey, I am going to take a bath." I stopped as I didn't even know which way the bathroom was. On the other hand how on earth was I supposed to cleanse myself? I imagined myself slipping in the tub and putting my clothes on upside down.

"That way," he pushed me to the washroom, but I just stood there thinking. "Hey, you said you were going to bathe."

"I-I cant." I stuttered.

"Oohhh...I got it! I will bathe with you!"

"What?! No! Are you a pervert?" I screamed at what I thought was his face.

"Don't worry, we can wear our swimsuits. It will be like a mini pool!" He chimed like a child.

He really was an idiot wasn't he? There was no way he could be that dense...
