While they played and had fun, the ball rolled over to the front yard of the mysterious house and the children stopped and looked at the ball and then at the house and stood silently. 

When one of them took the bravery to speak,

"Let's go get it guys!"

He said as he gulped and made his way to the house while the others followed behind. 

He bent down and picked it up but as they were about to leave, they turned as they looked at the house in silence. Suddenly the bright beautiful morning seems to look so grey. 

"It's been empty for years now, who even is the owner of this house?"

One of them asked.

"No idea! Nobody seems to know somehow."

One of them answered as they all looked at it in wonder. When one of them saw the door slightly open. 

"Guys look! The door is open!"

He said as they all looked at the door in shock. 

They slowly started approaching it and opened it wide as they looked inside the empty house. They took more steps and entered, as the door shut behind them.

The woman sat on her bed sobbing while the husband walked back and forth in the room talking to the Police on his phone.

Wondering where her child went? She cried.

It wasn't just her but more parents in the neighborhood, all wondering where their children went. 

They played outside like usual that day but it's been two weeks now and they never returned.
