My eyes shot open awaking me from my sleep. I heard cautioned footsteps heading towards the tree I was in. It stopped and I heard it pretend to not be there. I laid there on the tree pretended to be asleep. So it walked again and that's when I realized it was after me. I waited for it. Then it spoke. "I know you are awake." "What business do you have with me?" I asked. "An offer" It said. I listened cautiously and said "what offer." I heard a sly smirk. "I will offer you the ability to see. I will let you see the person that has killed your village. " it said. "And HOW will you do that. How do you know of my village and How do you know who killed my village." I asked highly angry. "Gossip spreads like wildfire my dear now with this one jewel shard you will be able to see." The voice said.
I heard it toss the jewel and I caught it from the winds grasp. "And you didn't answer my third question WHO killed my village?"I simply said. I heard it chuckle the evil laugh of an old man. "I did but even if you try to kill me now you won't succeed. I am only a puppet made from the original. So if you kill me here I will still be alive." It explained. I only could ask one thing before grabbing my sword. "What is your name. " it simply replied with a laugh. "Naraku." After he.said his name I ended the puppets life right then. I held the jewel tightly in my hand and then wondered did I want this jewel. I put it in my hair as an accessory so I wouldn't lose it. Something felt strange about the gem as if the puppet didn't tell me the full story. I walked on with caution. And a purpose. FIND NARAKU. And if I can't do that I'm not meant to live. That's when I heard something; footsteps as cautious as mine. It must have been that demon from before. His scent was strong. It was definitely him. The footsteps stopped a few feet from me. I turned around, away from the man and said nothing.I walked on to my destination wherever that was. I decided to go back to my village to find someone that I was sure couldn't be dead ,May.....
