Ace POV

When I woke up this morning and Manilo wasn't in his room, I almost died. He is blind, he doesn't know his way around when he is too deep into the woods. It rained that night. Everything could have happened to him. He could be kidnapped or he is lost in another pack land. Fuck! I am so worried.

The whole pack is searching with me everywhere. I am so worried. He is one of the most important people in my life.

Manilo! Where are you?", I am shouting. "Manilo! Are you somewhere here? Please say something!"

"Ace", I hear him wimper somewhere near. As I am looking around I found him laying in the dirt.

I am relieved. He is safe. He is alright. He is alive and is not kidnapped or killed.

"Manilo!" I shouting relieved and run over to him, pulling him in my arms. "Are you okay? Is everything alright? Gosh, you are soaked. Why are you here?"

He is sobbing as he hold on tight.. "Ace", He whimpers out again.

"Sh. Everything is alright. I am here."

To calm him down I rub up and down his back and lift him in my arms. He just holds tighter on me and buries his head in my shoulder. I just press him tighter on me.

Thank God he is alright. I don't know what I would have done if he would be hurt. It would be my fault. I am the alpha and responsible for my pack. Especially Manilo. If something would have happened to him, just because I wasn't there, is unforgivable. Just like tonight. He was just gone! I should have heard something. Our rooms are next door and I hear it everytime when something is wrong. But not this time. I can never forgive myself. Never.

At the pack house I am running to my room and change his clothes. He doesn't react to anything I do, except a few small whimpers when we are not in contact with each other. I lay hin under two blankets and cuddle with him in hope to warm him up. He just holds tightly on me and whimpers my name every now and then.

"I am here", I whisper. "I don't leave you. Everything is alright."

After an hour or so he finally sleeps peacefully. I want to know, what he was doing outside. He knows that it is dangerous. And it rained!

He could have come to me! He knows it! He can wake me up when he needs something or if he wants to talk. Why haven't he done that? Why? Everything could have happened!
