When we are finished with dinner, Ace tells our parents we are going for a run. He leads me into the forest and looks out for me. I could easily fall or run into something. We are heading to a small clearing where I can easily run around myself and don't have to be afraid.

When we arrive at our destination we just lay down in the grass. Sometime I have enough courage to ask him the question, which is the most important one for me: "You have decided yet? Who will be your omega I mean."

I am nervous of the answer but I have to know! His answer will decide the future of him and us, our friendship. There is this little chance and hope that he will pick me as his mate and Luna. It is so small, but I just have to think about it all the time. It could be.

"Yeah." I can hear the smile in his voice and try not to be to hopeful.

"Who is it?" My voice is quiet.

"You will know it in four days, like everyone else", is his answer. "I don't want anyone to know. I want to keep it it a secret a little longer."

He is stubborn. It won't do anything good if I question him any more. He is as hard as a rock when he doesn't want to tell me something.

Without another word I change into my wolf. Everybody says I am white. White as snow. But I don't know how it looks like. Everything I see is dark. Or I assume it is darkness, cause there is nothing. There never was something and there will never be anything. I will be blind forever.

That is the reason why I assume, that Ace will never want me as his omega. How should I care for our pups? I am allowed to look after the pups but just when someone is with me. No, it's better when he gets someone else as his omega. One that can look after the pups and not someone who has to be looked after. I just want what is best for him.

Slowly I run around the clearing. It is so nice to just run around freely. I am always here and know everything here but it is just nice to be free. Even if it is just for a few minutes. At this clearing it is just the two of us. At home it is so rare that I have him longer than half an hour cause his dad wants him to learn the things an alpha has to know.

Sometime Ace comes to me and we play catch. It's not easy when you are blind but with my sharpened senses it is makeable. But I have a feeling, that he let's me win regularly. A few years back I heard him say, he hates to see me sad. Because of that he let's me win and is as often as he can be at my side. But I don't care. As long as we are both happy everything is fine.

We play till it's dark and just go back to sit in the grass and listen the pack.

Hey and welcome back to Blind Omega!

Tomorrow I can stay home, cause it is a holiday. I don't know if I mentioned it, but I am a trainee as a legal assistant at a lawyers office. My training will be finished in July, but my exams are already in May. I love my job and enjoy doing the things I do.
