A/N: Ok so this is the chapter where it is revealed how you can see with airbending. You also get to know toph more. Enjoy!

(Y/N P.O.V)

We landed in a open area. As we were getting off Appa we got our stuff to set up camp. But I heard Katara and Toph fighting. Apparently she only got her stuff and didn't help with the other supplies 'like it matters that much'. I had just finished gathering some berries and made my way to the camp we setup. When I got there Katara seemed stressed, so I offered to make dinner. She ofcourse was hesitant, but I managed to talk her into it. I had never made dinner for them but I had made it for plenty of people before the iceberg 'incident', and though I haven't made anyone food in about a hundred years you never forget how. I had a rock in place to use as a cutting board of sorts, and I had a fire with a pot over it. I started to chop some carrots we had. I added some onion to it and a little of some herbs I keep in my satchel, as I was grabbing the herbs I felt a coin in my satchel. When I put my thumb on it I felt the symbol on it and smiled at the memories that came with. I then went back to cutting and stirring, I added some more ingredients and poured half the contents in a separate pot, then I put the original pot back over the fire and started to add meat. I added some seasoned chickenbull meat, I made sure it was finely cut. Once the meat was stirred in I grabbed a spoon and tasted 'needs salt'. I went through my satchel and found my salt then made sure it wasn't the special pepper and added it to the dish. Once the salt was mixed in I tasted it again, with a different spoon, it was ready. I poured it into two big bowls and grabbed four smaller bowls. I then put the food on a setup we had and made sure it wouldn't spill. "Come and get it."

Sokka was the first to arrive. I handed him a bowl of meat soup. Then Aang came with Katara and I gave them vegetable/berry soup. "This is amazing."

Katara:"Sokka's right, (y/n) where did you learn to cook?"

I smile at the compliment. "Well since I am blind I wasn't allowed to do much of the advanced stuff, so I had a LOT of spare time, especially since none of the other airbending kids, besides Aang, would hang out with me since they thought I was either weird,fragile, or I would be creepy. I kind of used some of that time to learn cooking."

Aang was the only one of the three who wasn't in shock, since he already knew about it. "How could they do that, it seems unfair."

Sokka:"Yeah, I mean just because your blind?!!"

I 'looked' down "No, it was also because of some other stuff, manly that I went into town a lot."

They seemed confused. "Why??"

You:"Well I didn't have much to do so I went into the village that was below, it was small but I was able to learn some stuff here and there, I even mastered my bending from some traveling airbenders that were also 'disabled'. Like one who had no arms but could use airbending to move stuff like if he did have them. So I went down to the village every day at the same time."

They seemed to understand. "So they thought you didn't want to be around them, because you left a lot?"

You:"Yes, that is one reason."

I then realized Toph wasn't here." Where's Toph?"

Katara:"She didn't want to join us, she apparently has everything she needs."

I noticed the irritation in her voice, so I let it go. "Well everyone just has to get use to it I am sure."

I could tell Katara still felt irritated, but she said good night and left. "Well I am going to get some sleep too, night."

You&Aang:"Night, Sokka."

Aang:"I am going to bed too, night (y/n)."

You:"Night, Aang."

I then grabbed a bowl of soup and went to Toph's earth tent. "Hey you awake?"

I heard her move. "What do you want."

You:"I thought you might be hungry."

I heard her stomach growl and she took the bowl. "I will take that as a yes."

Toph:"Why else did you come?"

You:"That was it, just to make sure you didn't go hungry."

I then left to my tent. I was asleep for maybe ten minutes. I woke up to Toph yelling that something was coming. We got on Appa and took off. They saw something big and metal moving, but didn't know what. We landed again and I heard more yelling from the resident females as I was helping unpack. When done I made sure everything was good and noticed that no one else was awake so I began to put my stuff back on Appa. 'Who ever they are I doubt they are gone, I will just have to wait I guess'. I then sat down and waited. After about fifteen minutes it came again. Once we were all packed and in the air we saw it was closer this time. "This time I am going to make sure we lose it."

After Aang said that we spent about two hours flying. Once Appa landed and fell asleep we just left the stuff to setup later. But Katara and Toph still argued, thankfully not as much as before. But this was short lived because that thing arrived again. "Maybe it's friendly."

Sokka:"Always the optimist."

The machine stopped and out came three familiar people. "It's those three girls from omashu."

Toph:"We can take them, four on three."

Sokka:"Actually Toph there's five of us."

Toph:"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't count you, you know no bending and all."

Sokka:"I can still fight!!!"

Toph:"Ok, four on three plus Sokka."

I could sense Sokka getting angry. When the three girls got near us the moody one threw daggers and the leader shot lightning at a rock wall Toph made. We retreated back to Appa. We then flew for another few hours. "I still think we could've taken them."

Katara:"Are you kidding me, the crazy blue fire and the flying daggers are bad enough but last time we saw them one of those girls did something that took my bending away, that's scary."

You:"She hit some nerve points in your body, it doesn't actually take away bending just makes it so your chakra can't flow and you tense up, it stops movement which in turn stops bending."

The sun started to rise. "Oh no the sun is rising, we've been up all night with no sleep."

Aang:"Sokka we'll be ok."

Sokka kept on acting hysterical, but I took this chance to sleep some. When I woke up everyone had just started to try and sleep. I felt Appa start to relax too much, and knew that any second he would fall asleep, since there was no time to warn them I simply grabbed on tight. We then fell and the others woke up to try and get Appa to wakeup. When Appa awoke he crash landed, but was able to slow down some. We then got off Appa. "Ok the plan right now is to follow Appa's lead and get some sleep."

Katara:"We could've gotten sleep earlier if Toph didn't have such issues."

Oh no, not good. "WHAT!!!"

Aang:"Alright alright everyone's exhausted, let's just get some sleep."

Toph:"No I want to here what Katara has to say, you think I have issues?"

I saw this was going to end badly, so I walked off into the woods. After a few minutes I heard Toph and she seemed mad, at least if her stomping was anything to go by. I jumped down, this surprised her apparently. "W-why are you here? are you following me?"

You:"No I was just sitting in a tree and heard you walking by, Why are you here?"

Toph:"Katara and Aang ticked me off, it's not like it's my fault that we are in this mess but noo-"

I cut her off "you guys fight a lot, but it has been one day, they are just tired and irritated that we keep being followed, and so are you."

Toph:"Why aren't you tired?"

You:"I don't need much sleep, since I don't use as much energy for things like getting excited or fighting, So I am able to stay up longer."

Toph:"Oh."

She seemed too be trying to start a conversation "Sooo your blind too, how do you see? I see with my feet using earthbending to sense vibrations and muscle movement, though I have to be touching the ground, but what about you?"

You:"oh, well I use airbending to see shapes like a outline, I can also use it on muscles by feeling the air leaving the body and the muscles compressing without the air, I am not able to read or see very well underground but it is effective, it also heightens my senses like hearing, this is all done by bending the molecules in the air and letting the vibrations do the rest, it is very helpful, but underground the air is limited and a lot of vibration happens so it makes it all fuzzy."

After I explained it to her I felt movement near by, I then left her saying there was something I had to do alone. If my guess is right there should be some soothing flowers nearby. I went to a clearing and found the flower, it was prickly so I had to be careful. When I had finished looking for it's stem, and grabbing a cup from my satchel, I gently squeezed it, so I didn't kill it, then I put the cup down and grabbed some thick tree sap from my satchel, I also grabbed some rare herbs that I had collected. Once I had mixed everything together I grabbed three glass vials from my satchel and poured the contents in I then grabbed the last ingredient my special pepper, it is so hot one flake can kill all your tastebuds, I put four flakes in each vial and put the cork in the vials to seal them, I then shook them up and put them in my satchel. After that I started to walk in a direction that felt right.

(Time skip)

I had just arrived at an abandoned town. When I got there I heard fighting and then I 'saw' it was my friends and Zuko and Iroh fighting that crazy blue fire girl. Once they had her cornered she said she surrendered. After that she attacked Iroh and everyone, except for Iroh, attacked her. She was gone after that but she wasn't dead. They all then went to Iroh to check on him. I pulled out one of the vials and a spoon then I walked over. Once I got there Zuko had just firebent at the others making them step back. He then saw me and was about to do the same. I knelt down and held out the vial and spoon to him. "Give him three spoonfuls a day one in the morning, evening, and at night, if the pain becomes to much for him give him one in between but no more than that, understand?"

He took the vial and spoon then nodded. I got up and left with the others. Once we got on Appa we took off. "Hey (y/n) where did you go?"

You:"Well I had to get the medicine somewhere."

Katara:"How did you know Iroh would need it?"

You:"Simple, I didn't."

They all looked a me in bewilderment. "Then why?"

I shrugged. "I just had a feeling I guess."

They decided to leave it at that and we flew as far away as we could.
