(Y/N P.O.V)

I was getting in position to attack Aang. Me Toph and Katara are training Aang, mostly in dodging and countering right now. He is wearing a blind fold so that his only way to 'see' will be to either use earth bending or air bending. I was perched on the ledge of a hill next to the training spot we are using. "Ok I'm ready for some training!"

I waited for them to start, Sokka was slowly sneaking up and I was 'looking' at the results. "Good job twinkle toes, visualize then attack."

I 'saw' that Aang had deflected the initial attacks. But Toph accidentally hit Katara. "Maybe you should take your own advice Toph."

Toph:"What's the matter? can't handle some dirt madam fussybritches."

I knew this wasn't going anywhere good. "Oh sorry did I splash you? mudslug!"

They then continued to clash. "Are we taking a break?"

Sokka:"Aahhh sneak attack!!"

Aang:"Sokka sneak attacks don't work if you yell it out loud."

I then jumped down and pinned Aang to the ground with my foot. "Yes Aang is right, but that doesn't mean you should leave your guard down Aang."

I then helped him up. "You will need to try harder next time, and maybe they won't fight during training."

I said this while pointing at the only female members of team avatar. "Hungry for a mud pie!"

Katara:"I'll give you a mud pie!"

They continued until Aang spoke up. "Uhh guys, I thought we were supposed to be training me."

They stopped and looked at Aang. "Very well pupil I believe we've had enough training for today."

Toph:"While Katara cleans up...let's go have some fun!"

Sokka/Aang:"Yes!/Yeah!"

You:"I'm gonna go and 'look' at some shops so I'll tag along."

(Time skip)

I 'watched' as Toph, Aang, and Sokka gambled on the street side. 'Well at least they are cheating a cheat'. I walked away to find what I was looking for. "Excuse me sir do you know where an ink shop is?"

Man:"Yes there is one right down that street."

He pointed me in the right direction and I was off. "Thank you."

As I went down the street I went to a lady next to a store front. "Excuse me but is this the ink shop?"

Lady:"No it's the one next door."

You:"Thank you."

I went to the shop next door and entered. There was one person there and that was it. "May I help you?"

You:"Yes, May I get a letter written?"

He sat me down and started to write what I said word for word. It cost me four copper pieces to get it written and about fifteen minutes. Once I had the letter in my bag I left for the campsite. I noticed I saw a bit low on money but I could find a way to make more. "That can wait till tomorrow."

When I got back I could hear Katara and Toph arguing, probably about the gambling. 'Is it gambling when rigged though?'. I went ahead and started cooking with the food they brought back.

(Time skip)

I decided to walk around the town again, except to make some money this time. 'Well it seems there are many ways to earn some extra money around here'. I walked up to a man who was betting with a flat rock. The game was simple: flip the flat rock, one side was blank and the other had a dragon, if you got the dragon you won but if you got the blank side you get nothing. The key is the guy had a second flat rock up his sleeve so that when the rock lands back on his arm he could switch them without notice. I pull out a silver piece and three copper pieces. "Can I play?"

Man:"Sure, I will bet twenty silver to your one silver and three copper."

I knew he only did this to make me think that I had a great prize if I won and to spice it up, but that won't work on me. "Ok."

I felt as the flat rock left his hand and started to come back down. When he went to switch the rock I flipped the sides and 'watched' as he got shocked from the fact he lost. "Well looks like I won."

I grabbed the money but got stopped. "How about we play again?"

I turned back to him. "Ok, how much this time?"

Man:"Twenty against twenty."

You:"How about forty?"

I know that he won't except but it will raise the bet. "Thirty."

You:"Thirty five."

Man:"Thirty two."

You:"Thirty two and eight copper."

Man:"Three copper."

You:"Five copper."

Man:"Deal!"

He then flipped the coin again. He tried to slip the second flat rock out again but nothing changed. "Well I won again."

I grabbed the bag and ran. I knew a third win would be suspicious, especially when the game was rigged.

(Time skip)

I returned to the camp and found Toph and Katara arguing again. "Don't walk away from me while I'm talking to you!"

Toph:"oh really 'mom'! or what are you going to do send me to my room!"

Katara:"I wish I could."

Toph:"Well you can't, because your not my mom and your not their mom!"

Katara:"I never said I was!"

Toph:"No but you certainly act like it! You think it's your job to boss everyone around but it's not! Your just a regular kid like the rest of us! so stop acting like you can tell me what to do! I can do whatever I want!"

Katara:"I don't act that way, Sokka do I act motherly?!"

Sokka:"Hey I'm staying out of this one."

Katara:"Y/N?"

You:"I won't get between two arguing women, I'd rather keep my head thanks."

Katara:"What do you think Aang do I act like a mom?!"

Aang:"Well I-."

Katara:"Stop rubbing your eye and speak clearly when you talk!"

Aang:"Yes ma'am!"

Toph:"I can't be around you right now!"

Katara:"Well I can't be around you!"

After that they both went in different direction. 'Well this is a mess'. After awhile I figured Toph had cooled down enough to talk too, and I wanted to get away from Sakka's bad ideas for his new hawk. I found her sitting on a rock. "Hey Toph."

Toph:"What are you doing here?"

You:"Well I came to talk to you."

Toph:"I'm not going to talk to Katara."

You:"That's not what I meant."

Toph:"Fine."

You:"Look I can't say I know a whole lot about parents so I can't say I know what you feel exactly, but I know what overbearing is like. At the temple I wasn't allowed to do anything except the basics because I was blind, so I found alternative methods to learn. So in a sense I know what it's like to have a parent that won't let you do anything. But at the same time I know how important the few friends we get are to us, so even though you and Katara don't 'see' eye to eye, pun not intended, you two are still friends. The sooner you two make up the better you'll be, and I'm not forcing you I am just saying what I think you need to hear."

Toph:"Thank you."

You:"No problem, I may not have been around my parents that much but the monks were close enough."

Toph:"So they treated you like glass?"

You:"Yeah but just like you I found a way, though not as direct."

She laughed a little and I felt Sokka coming over. "Well I'm gonna go."

(Time skip: Major we're back!)

Katara and Toph have been gone on a scam for awhile now. "Do you think this scam of theirs should be taking this long?"

Sokka:"I was just wondering the same thing, we better check it out."

You:"Agreed."

Sokka:"You two behave, Appa's in charge."

We got to the town but it was completely empty. "Where do you think they mighty be?"

Aang:"Where do you think anyone is?"

You:"I don't like this one bit."

I heard a loud inhaling from a few yards behind us. 'Not good!'. Me and Aang both caught on. "Sokka watch out!"

Aang pushed Sokka out of the way and I deflected the explosion. "Sparky sparky boom man!"

Sokka:"You know I'm starting to think that name doesn't quite fit."

You:"Your just realizing that?!"

We then had to run as the statue got blown up at the bottom. He chased us down a road and we hid behind a cart. "This guy is too good, he shoots fire from his brain!"

Aang:"We should split up, he can't chase us both!"

As much as I didn't like that plan we were out of options. Once we were out of sight me and Sokka ran into Katara and Toph. When we got back Katara saved Aang and we made a run for it. One thing I noticed when Toph threw a bolder was a pebble hit his 'eye' as it's was described by Sokka, and he blew up the area just an inch away from himself. 'A weakness perhaps?'. "Hey I got it, the perfect name for that guy, combustion-man."

Toph:"Good job Sokka, now lets get out of here before combustion-man catches us!"

Sokka:"Seea it fits so well."

You:"We get it."
