(Y/N P.O.V)

I was checking my bag while we moved through a river. Aang was in the water with Momo while the rest of us were on Appa. I then heard Aang jump out of the water. "Hey guy I think this rivers polluted."

Aang then blew the polluted mucky water on us. I felt a gust of wind after that get rid of the water, I assumed it was from Aang. "Well that explains why I can't catch a fish around here, because normally my fishing skills are off the hook...get it? Like a fishing hook!"

I groaned a bit at the horrible joke. "Too bad your skills aren't on the hook."

Me, Katara, Toph, and Aang all laughed at Toph's joke. "Looks like we'll need to go somewhere else to get food, assuming that'll fit into Sokka's master schedule."

Sokka:"Hhhmm, it's doable, but that means only 2 potty breaks today."

Aang:"Hey, maybe we can get food there."

I felt a little village on the water not that far away. We hid Appa behind a cliff and started towards the village. When we got to where the water begins we stopped. "I don't feel anything, where is this village?"

Sokka:"It's in the middle of the river."

???:"Shore is, my names dock, mind if I ask who you are?"

I could feel a man below us on a boat. 'How did I not notice him before'? "We're...um...from the earth kingdom colonies."

Dock:"Wow colonials, ah hope on I'll give ya a ride into town."

We all got on docks boat and started towards the little village. "Why do you guys live on the river?"

Dock:"Because we're a fishing town, at least that's how it was before the factory moved in, army makes their metal there, moved in a few years ago and started gunking up our river, and now our little village is struggling to survive."

We soon arrived at the village and thanked dock for the ride. I may not be able to see but I could sense the depression and sickness of this place. I told the others that I would meet up with them when we headed back to shore. I was walking when I felt someone bump into me. I heard them land on the ground. "Ow."

I could tell it was a little kid. I knelt down to there level. "You ok? You might want to be more careful about your surroundings."

Kid:"Yes I'm fine, sorry mister."

You:"It's fine."

I could feel them hesitate when getting up, like they were in pain. I reached into my bag and pulled out a little vile of ointment. "Here, this should help with your pain little one."

I gave them the vile and left before they could ask too many questions. I made my way back to the others but surprisingly they were still talking to dock but behind a counter this time. "We'll just take the fish, mind telling your brother we need a ride back to shore?"

I didn't get what they were talking about. "Hey colonials, my brother says you need a lift."

You:"What was that about?"

Sokka:"No idea."

I then heard a little boy talking to Katara about food. She gave him a fish. I smiled at her kindness. We made our way back to shore for the night. "Our detour into town today has completely thrown off our schedule, it's gonna take some serious finagling to get us back on track."

Toph:"finagle away oh schedule master."

Sokka:"Well for starters it looks like we'll need to wake up 43 minutes earlier everyday."

Katara:"43 minutes?"

Sokka:"Look we only have a few weeks to get to the firelord in time for the invasion and the eclipse, which by the way only lasts for 8 minutes and we just lost a whole day, so if we wanna make up the time and stay on schedule then we have to wake up early!"

Toph:"Well I'm not waken up early."

Sokka:"Or we can just cut out all of our eating breaks."

Aang/Katara/Toph/You:"What?Noway.Forget it.No thanks."

Sokka:"I got it, how's this? From now on we'll take food breaks and potty breaks at the same time."

I heard Aang spit out his water. "Hey it might be gross but it's efficient, either way we have to leave here first thing tomorrow morning."

(Time skip)

I felt someone getting up. I notice it was Katara by the direction from where they came. I felt her going towards the water and then start walking on it. I decided that I should just leave her be. But before I went to sleep I went to Appa and gave him a LOT of purple berries. 'I hope you know what your doing Katara'.

(Time skip)

I woke up to the others worried about Appa. They decided to go into town for medicine. Once we got there everyone seemed so happy. We soon made it to 'Shoe's' shop. "Hey Shoe what's going on with everyone today?"

Shoe:"*slurp* Ah, something amazing happened last night, food was delivered to our village by a mysterious and wonderful person...the painted lady."

Katara:"The painted who now?"

Shoe:"The painted lady, she's part of our towns lore, they say she's a river spirit that watches over our town in times of need, I always thought she was just a legend...until now."

Sokka:"See we don't need to help these people, they already have someone to help them, all we need is medicine for our sick friend."

Shoe:"Medicine? Sorry all the medicine we have goes to the factory, that's why there's so many sick peoples in our village."

Katara:"Looks like we need to stay another night so Appa can rest."

Sokka:"Ugh, I guess your right, you got anymore food to sell?"

Shoe:"Would you like the one headed fish or the two headed fish?"

Sokka:"Two headed, what? You get more for your money that way."

We then left with Sokka holding the two headed mutant fish. 'I'm just gonna skip dinner'. We headed back to shore.

(Time skip)

I heard Katara leaving again. I sighed and decided to make sure I had everything I would need ready. I then fed Appa some more purple berries and apologized for giving him so many. I then went back to sleep.

(Time skip)

We went into town again since Appa was still 'sick'. "Hey dock is shoe around?"

Dock:"Let me check."

Shoe:"Hey there, back again are ya?"

Toph:"We need more food, our friend is still sick and we can't leave until he's better."

Shoe:"Oh well that's too bad, maybe if you guys are lucky the painted lady will visit you in the night and heal your friend."

Sokka:"And maybe she'll cook us a midnight snack and we'll all have a singalong."

Shoe:"Yeah maybe, you know last night she visited us again, healed most of our sick folks."

Aang:"Is that why this place seems so festive?"

Shoe:"Yep it's all thanks to the painted lady."

Then Sokka and Katara started to have a disagreement. But I could tell that Sokka's joke about destroying the factory was taken to heart.

(Time skip)

I fake slept and waited for Katara to be a distance away. But I also heard Aang go after her. I grabbed my bag and followed them. I heard them go into the factory to destroy it. As they went in I knocked out a couple of guards that saw them. 'They really need to be more careful'. I then kept on their tails to make sure no one saw them. But then they made SO MUCH NOISE! I mean do they want to be caught. After making sure any guards that were nearby got taken care of I followed them out with out them knowing. But I never noticed the old guard that came in not even five seconds later.

(??? P.O.V)

I ran into the magma chamber and saw everything destroyed and several guards on the ground. "Oh man, I am so fired."

(Time skip)
(Y/N P.O.V)

I got back to camp and noticed Sokka chewing out Katara and Aang. I just snuck by them. "And I know you've been feeding him purpleizing tongue berries!"

You:"Actually I've been feeding him the berries."

Sokka:"Why?!"

You:"I have my reasons."

We started packing up and heard the fire nation soldiers coming. I heard Sokka yelling at Katara and her yelling back but eventually she got up to go and help the villagers. I waited for them to finally finish talking before listening to the plan.

(Time skip)

I got into position and started to make the fog swirl around a little to set an Eire feel, I also heard the noises from Sokka, Toph, and Appa. I could heard the destruction of one of the fire nation soldiers boats. Once I felt Katara's hand raise into the air I sent a big gust of air straight up and made it slowly go towards the fire nation soldiers. The soldiers got so scared they left their commanding officer. We then just had to deal with the one in charge, which was easy after Aang helped Katara dodge his attack and blow him into the river. After that Katara threatened him to never come back.

(Time skip)

After we helped the village and stopped them from getting made when they figured out it was us and not the painted lady we started to clean the river. I still can't figure out that dock guy, I think he needs a doctor. I helped by bending the polluted air out of the water to make it breathable for fish or at least non mutated fish. I then helped them plant herbs on the shore to have a supply of medicines. We had to make camp for one more night since it was so late before the river was cleaned. I went to sleep with a final thought. 'This was interesting to say the least'.

A/N: well that's another chapter. And yes the cameo was necessary. I hope you all enjoyed and next up is when Sokka learns swordsmanship, that should be good. Until next chapter, Bye!
