A/N: this will start with the moment they meet Aang but I will be doing a big time skip after this chapter. Oh and I am bumping up toph's age to sixteen and Aang will be too, Katara Sokka and you are seventeen, Enjoy.

(Y/N P.O.V)

I heard voices and started to wake up. When I finally awoke I felt the cold air on my face. I then heard the voices one female young by the sound of it, and two male but one of the male sounded familiar, Aang??

Appa:"Hhggg."

Aang:"Appa, wake up buddy."

Aang proceeds to try and wake Appa. Appa then licks Aang with his giant tongue. The other two walk over.

Male:"What is that?!"

Aang:"This is Appa my flying bison."

Male:"Yeah and this is Katara my flying sister."

I could easily hear the sarcasm in his voice. As this was happening Appa shook a little and made me fall off.

You:"Ooww."

They all turned towards me.

Male:"Who's that?"

Aang:"(Y/n)? Is that you?"

I turned towards them and I guess and saw my face.

Aang:"(Y/n) it is you."

He then gave me a hug in response.

Aang:"Why are you here?"

You start to rub your neck in embarrassment. "Well you see I was walking to clear my head, and I fell backwards of a ledge and I guess I was knocked unconscious on Appa's back."

As I was saying this I was 'looking' down in embarrassment. When I hear Aang laugh I sighed. "Ok laugh it up."

Then all three of them start to laugh. Once they stop Aang introduced us I learned the male was Sokka, and I already knew that the female was Katara since Sokka already said it when he was being sarcastic. Though apparently they were siblings, even if they were polar opposites. After that and a LOT of questioning by Sokka, we got on Appa to go to the southern Water Tribe. Sadly Appa was too tired to fly so he swam, not as fast but effective. Along the way Katara started to ask questions. "So do either of you know the avatar, since he is supposed to be a airbender."

Aang:"We don't know who the avatar is just that they were a friend of some of our friends."

Katara asked me if that was true and I could feel Aang begging me not to tell them I knew the avatar.

You:"Yep that is right, I haven't really seen him so I couldn't help you with that."

That wasn't entirely a lie since I can't see and I meet Aang after I lost my vision I never actually 'saw' the avatar.

Katara:"Oh, ok then."

We soon arrived at the southern Water Tribe. When we got off Appa a old lady came up to us. Katara and Sokka got off fist and I carried Aang since he fell asleep along the way and I had to steer Appa in the right direction. Though Katara and Sokka look just as ready for bed as Aang. "Are you all alright?"

You:"Yes ma'am, these three are just tired is all."

Old lady:"Well bring him in side an come you two it's late."

You:"Thank you ma'am."

Old lady:"Please call me gran gran."

Gran gran then lead us to a tent and told me that Aang and I will share this tent. I nodded and she left I then put Aang down, I gave him the blanket and went to sleep.

(Skip to morning)

I woke up and noticed Aang missing. 'Must have over slept'. I walked out and went around the tribe I then heard a flare go off 'oh that can't be good'. Everyone then got startled and then worried. About half an hour passed and both Katara and Aang came back, I could feel the guilt on them.

Gran gran:"What were you doing on that ship you know it is forbidden."

Aang then proceeded to take the blame, though knowing him it probably was his fault. After that he was banished, I ofcourse went with him. I wasn't banished my self but if we truly are the last airbenders we have to stick together. I then got on Appa with Aang and we walked off. While we were walking we noticed a fire nation ship, or well Aang did since I'm blind and all. We then started to go back. When we got there the ship had already arrived. They wanted the avatar, they must've seen that flare. When they started to move forward Aang jumped in front and started to attack, I soon joined in the fight. I seemed to confuse the firebenders, they must've thought there was only one airbender. We then had to stop when Aang almost hurt some of the village with the fire he was trying to stop. "Will you let the village go if we surrender."

Leader:"Yes if you come with us we will Spare them."

Then Katara tried to stop use which caused them to attack her but before anything could happen I stopped them. This caused a short chain reaction that was stopped by a older man. "Come now stop the fighting we have the airbenders we should go."

Leader:"But uncle-"

Uncle:"No Zuko we must leave, now come you two would you like some jasmine tea?"

You:"I would love some, you think I could have some ice in mine?"

Uncle:"Oh sure let us go now, and you can call me Iroh."

You:"Well Iroh I am (y/n)."

With that we got on board the ship. When we departed that started to ask questions about the avatar saying that it had to be one of us. "Now who is the avatar!!"

As this was happening I was drinking the tea Iroh made and it was DELICIOUS!! "Did you make this Iroh?"

Iroh:"Yes, do you like it?"

You:"Like is a understatement, I love it."

He smiled at that "well thank you, not many appreciate fine tea anymore."

You:"No problem, and if you ever open a tea shop tell me because I will gladly be your first customer."

Zuko:"Would you two stop talking about tea."

You:"You know you could ask nicely, besides have even tried this tea, it's delicious."

Zuko:"I don't need any stupid tea, I need the avatar."

He then had the guards take us below deck. But I halted them for a second. "What is it now."

I walk over to Iroh and hand him the tea cup. "Just needed to give Iroh back his tea cup, thank you again for the tea Iroh."

He nodded and the guards took us down to were the cells would be. But before we got there me and Aang airbent our way out, knocking out the guards in the process. We proceeded to go up top and we then had to fight our way out. When the firebenders were down we saw Katara and Sokka on Appa before we could go the firebenders got up, but as they were about to attack Aang went into the avatar state. When he left it most of the soldiers were overboard or unconscious. We made it to Appa and left.

Katara:"So you are the avatar, why didn't you tell us."

Aang:"I figured you wouldn't like me if I did, a hundred years is a long time."

Katara:"Ofcourse not, but why didn't you tell us (y/n)."

You:"It wasn't my place to tell."

When we got back to the southern Water Tribe gran gran was waiting with bags? "What's with the bags gran gran."

Gran gran:"Katara you and Sokka must go with Aang and (y/n), your destinies are now intertwined for better or worse."

After that we all got on Appa and took off on Appa to the north pole. When the other two fell asleep I spoke to Aang. "Hey Aang, can you do me a favor."

Aang:"What favor (y/n)?"

You:"Don't tell Katara and Sokka that I am blind, please."

Aang:"Sure but why?"

You:"I don't want to be treated differently because of it."

Aang:"But I don't treat you differently, why would they?"

You:"You don't, but the monks did so they might, besides we were gone for a hundred years the world maybe different in many ways."

Aang:"Ok, but you should tell them."

You:"This coming from the one who didn't want them to know he was the avatar."

Silence "That's what I thought."

I then lay down and fall asleep.
