(3rd person P.O.V)

Zuko pulled pulled Toph to the side so no one else could hear them. "So what's it say?!"

Zuko looked over the paper to remember exactly what he wrote. "Well It says..."

(Switch to (Y/N) gliding over the ocean)

"I am sorry Toph; but I can't let you get involved with what I'm about to do. See what I've said about losing my family to a trio of benders was true; but there was more. I was never certain that the firebender died that day. But I recently ran into a man who all but admitted he was after me. I know it's him, I don't know how, but I know he's alive. He wants the avatar cycle to end and for my whole family to be wiped out..."

(Y/n) was gliding over the great divide. "...this 'man' will stop at nothing to get rid of me; so I must get rid of him first. Just Incase I don't 'see' you again there is a rectangular box in Appa's extra bag, that no one uses, open that when you feel like it. I will protect you and everyone else; because..."

(Y/n) 'looked' ahead as he 'saw' Ba Sing Se in the distance. "...I Love You Toph!"

Toph was clenching her fists and 'looking' down; Zuko was about to say something when she spoke. "That idiot; thinking I can't help."

Zuko:"I don't think that's it; he just doesn't want to see you hurt is all. I'm sure you would do the same."

Toph:"I'd at least say it to his face."

Zuko:"I'm sure he'll be back."

She just mumbled something about 'smashing someone's head in' or something; while walking off. Zuko just shook his head. "You better know what you're doing (y/n)."

I landed in the mountain range between the serpents pass and Ba Sing Se. "I better set up camp for tonight...*pant*...man flying that fast takes a lot out of you."

I wiped my forehead and started gathering stick and twigs into a pile; then I found a fallen tree and cut it up using airbending. I grabbed the logs and set three of them up into a tent formation; I used the flint and steal in my satchel to start the fire. There were Berry bushes around the area that I picked for food. "Well this isn't too bad. But note to self: don't use airbending to speed up gliding for extended periods of time."

I rolled out my sleeping bag and got my tea pot out. I grabbed some herbs and berries; then I started the tea. After about 10 minutes the pot started to whistle. I grabbed my cup and poured some tea; before laying down in my sleeping bag. I was about to take a sip when I got a bad feeling. "Why do I feel like someone wants to smash my head in?.........Toph."

I decided to get some sleep after drinking my tea.

I woke up to the sound of marching. I crept up the hill and 'saw' Fire Nation soldiers marching to Ba Sing Se. 'They must've decided that their Dai Li wasn't enough to hold the city'. The soldiers were probably 3 hours from Ba Sing Se at the rate they were moving. There was probably anywhere from 50-80 soldiers; rather small. 'They take the capital and only send a small force to hold it? What would be the point?'. I went back down the hill and started packing my stuff up. When I had everything I started trailing behind the soldiers; just far enough that they wouldn't hear me and I could hide if necessary. The walk wouldn't have been necessary if the soldiers weren't here; I could've just glided to Ba Sing Se. But I can't risk being spotted, not now. When they were at the gate I snuck up behind them and walked through the gate with them. There weren't many guards at the base of the wall; but I still stayed behind as to not get caught. As the gate started to close I jumped up and hit one side of the wall before jumping off and hitting the other; this continued until I reached the top. There were 10 soldiers on the wall 6 Fire Nation and 4 Dai Li. The Dai Li were hidden and the soldiers were shocked by someone jumping out from the closing gate walls. It seemed like the shifts were changing because some were moving to the wall while others were heading to a ladder. 'Only five on the wall at one time; but why so little defense?'. Then one of the soldiers snapped out of it. "Get him!"

I just shook my head. 'Every time'. I dodged a blast of fire and rolled up to two soldiers; I then slammed their heads together to knock them out. I turned around and canceled out a ball of fire with a blast of air. A Dai Li agent tried to hit me quietly; but I dodged and chopped his neck. I used the water at the base of the wall to block four blasts of fire; and to knock out three Fire benders by slamming them against the lookout tower. The Remaining Fire bender and two Dai Li attack at the same time; but the Fire bender decided to charge in. I grabbed the Fire benders arm and threw him against the two Dai Li. The last Dai Li sent a rock hand at me; I ducked and blasted him off the wall. "Ahhh!"

I winced when I heard a crunch. "I would feel sorry for him; but he was technically a double traitor."

I heard him groan. "Correction is technically a double traitor; wonder how he survived?"

I shrugged and started to collect,tie up, and hide the now unconscious soldiers/agents. The one on the ground was a little difficult; but I managed. I hid them by hanging them over the outside of the wall. "That should keep them out of the way for awhile."

I 'looked' over the inside of the wall and 'saw' the city of Ba Sing Se. I could feel the fire from the Fire benders from where I stood on the wall. "They must be suppressing uprisings around the city. Well Earth benders have one thing; their pride and stubborn determination."

I had first hand experience with Earth bender stubbornness; it was difficult. I jumped over the ledge to get down without being spotted. 'Have to get to Cha and Su; they should have answers'. I headed straight for the middle ring; using alleyways and rooftops. I 'saw' the stands and shops being raided by soldiers and some were set on fire. I had to keep moving in order to not make things worse. Cha's house wasn't far now, so I sped up. I reached his place in just five minutes and knocked on the door. Su answered not too long after; but she seemed distressed. "(Y/n), what are you doing here?"

You:"I need to speak with Cha."

Su started crying. "He's been captured; I told him he shouldn't fight them, that he's too old now. But he went to the prison the Fire Nation soldiers use."

I walked her to the couch and sat her down. "Explain everything."

Su took a breath and began. "A couple days ago my brother went out to get food; but he grabbed more than the Fire Nation would allow. He was arrested and sent to the prison in the lower ring. My grandfather and fiancé went to bust him out yesterday; but they didn't come back. This morning I heard from a neighbor that they were captured and the only thing keeping my father from going their to get them is my mom. They thought two Earth benders could take on 10 Fire benders; I told them they needed help."

You:"Why do Earth benders have to be so stubborn?!"

I put my head in my hands; I took a deep breath. "Ok, what are their names?"

Su:"What?"

You:"Your brother and fiancé; what are their names?"

Su:"My brother is Ran and my fiancé is Soru; you're not going to try to rescue them alone too are you?"

You:"Someone has to; and a new group of soldiers arrived today, they might reinforce the prison."

I moved to leave. "Please bring them back safely."

You:"I'll try."

I ran out of the house and headed for the prison in the lower ring. I knew each ring had a prison, the lower had an over populated small prison, the middle an average prison with mostly thieves or robbers, and lastly the upper ring had mostly political prisoners or people that were claimed to be criminals.

(I see the Time skip mark 3; it's coming in too fast!!)

I arrived at the prison only half an hour or so after leaving Su. I 'looked around and found a soldier walking down the street; I walked up and turned him down an alleyway. "Hey can I ask you a question?"

Soldier:"If it's about extra food then no I can't help you."

You:"No no no, I wanted to barrow your uniform."

Soldier:"Wha-"

I knocked him out and started getting dressed in his uniform; luckily he had clothes underneath. I went back to the prison after tying up the soldier. I simply nodded to the guard and walked in. 'Do they let Just about anyone who can Fire bend join?'. I shook my head and kept walking. The cells were filled with at least 7 people each; and they only had space for for four. I 'saw' one cell that had 15 people; it didn't seem comfortable. I went down a corridor on my left and found the captains office. He was asleep in a chair with the door open. I saw a set of keys on the desk and quietly took them. It took awhile to find the cell I was looking for; but when I did I noticed that it held 8 people. I unlocked the cell and found Cha; I woke him up quietly. "Hey Cha, it's (y/n)."

Cha:"*yawn* (y/n)? What are you doing here?"

You:"Busting you out, Su sent me."

Cha:"What hour is it?"

I couldn't feel much air flow; there weren't any windows so no wonder they couldn't tell it was day and all fell asleep, they must think it's night time. "I don't know but we've gotta go; now which ones are Ran and Soru."

He shook his head and got up. "Their in a different cell; they didn't want three Earth benders in the same cell, even if its a metal cell, something about a girl who can Metal bend?"

I smirked. "Yeah that would be my girlfriend."

He laughed. "Ha I knew you had it in you; didn't expect it to be the greatest Earth bender but whatever works."

I raised an eyebrow . "Never thought I'd see the day where you admit someone is better than you."

He shrugged. "She wins; I can't Metal bend, sounds handy though."

You:"Oh you don't know the half of it; but let's go."

I had him follow me as we walked around to find the other two. We came up to a cell with only two people in it. "That's them."

I nodded and unlocked the cell. We both started to wake them up. "Come on get up you two, we're leaving."

They started to get up and I was about to turn around when we heard the door close. We all 'saw' a man in a black cloak and hood at the door. "We finally meet (y/n) (l/n); I've been watching you."

You:"Watching me, for how long?"

???:"Long enough, since the southern Air Temple Actually. But I didn't interfere until you met the Metal bender girl."

I wasn't liking this. "Why? What do you want?"

???:"What my master wants."

'It can't be...'. "You work for the same man Rin does don't you!"

???:"Yes, but he is no longer with us, he failed so my master ordered his death. Today though my job it just to keep you here and out of his way. The master does send his congratulations though; you defeated one of his three inner circle, now you can rot here hahaha."

I wasn't exactly happy about this. "You know this won't stop me!"

???:"I hope so; just means I get to kill you, but maybe I'll let you 'watch' the girl die first."

I was furious that he even brought her into this. "You won't live that long if you do much as breath in her direction."

The mysterious man just cackled and vanished into the shadows.

A/N: Well I hope you all liked that; now you know the mystery guy that's been keeping an eye on (y/n). And what do you all think of me making an original paid story? I've been contemplating it for awhile. Bye!
