~Marinette's POV~

~Le Time Skip to Saturday Cause I Can~

I woke up to Tikki poking me in my face.  I groaned and rolled over, causing Tikki to phase through me.  I stopped dead in my tracks and shivered at the feeling.

"Marinette!  You have to get up!"  Tikki yelled into my ear.

"It's Saturday, Tikki.  We never have school on Saturdays's silly..."  I mutter quickly trying to fall back asleep.

"Your right, it is Saturday... but didn't you make plans to go eat brunch with Alya?"

"Tikki!  Why didn't you say anything!"  I shot up and slide down my railing and quickly pulled out a white flannel type shirt which a red sweater, a pair of jeans and cheetah patterned shoes.  I also grabbed a purse for my wallet and Tikki to chill out in.

As expected, I had been 10 minutes late and already had 4 missed calls from Alya.

I run down the stairs, passing my parents with only a quick kiss and continue on my way to our meeting area.

"Alya.. hey.. sorry.. can't breath..."  My hands find their way to my knees as I bend in half grasping for air.

"About time you showed up girl!  Oh hey, I hope you don't mind but Ikindinvitedninoandadrientomeetupwithussotheywillbehereanyminute."

"Wha-"  

"Hey dudette's!"  I was interrupted by a yelling boy running towards us.  Nino...

"Hey babe!"  Alya hugged Nino.  She came back to me and whispered, "Nino told me Adrien wanted to talk to you alone so I invited them to brunch!"

I felt my heart stop.  Adrien wants to talk alone with me?  What about?  Then my mind started filling up with thought about a certain black cat.  My face burned up as the fact that we kissed only 5 days before finally sunk in.

He hadn't visited since then, I hope everything is alright.  I was brought back when I heard a familiar voice behind me.

"Hey guys..."  He sounded nervous.

I hesitantly turn about, facing the boy who had ignored me for so long.  Not being able to comprehend a sentence, I decided to wave.  A little longer than I should have.

Adrien chuckled and waved back to me though he was only 3 feet away.

Alya cleared her throat, causing us all to give her back our attention.  The waiter had been standing there waiting to lead us to a table.  

We all sat down in silence.  Alya and Nino sat next to each other while I sat next to Adrien.  I wanted so badly to rekindle my friendship with Adrien but I felt like it was betraying Chat.  After the waiter came and took our order, I patted my purse, letting Tikki know I wanted to talk to her.

"I uhm- have to use the restroom.  Excuse me-"  I hurried away, barging into the room and slamming it shut behind me.

I open up my bag for Tikki to come out.  "What's wrong, Marinette?" Tikki sympathetically said, floating over to me as I walked towards the mirror and leaned on the sink.

"I don't know..." I sighed.  "I don't think I can do this."

~Adrien's POV~

Marinette has been in the bathroom for 20 minutes.  Maybe she is just scared to talk to me (A/N   I wanted him to think she was constipated but like for the sake of the story and Adrien's sake, he thinks normal thoughts instead of envisioning her trying to take a shit).  I excuse myself from Nino and Alya, telling them I was going to go check up on Marinette.

When I was by the door, I started to hear a small, high pitched voice talking to Marinette.

"Why not?"

"I can't get my mind off that stupid cat!"  Marinette sniffled.

'Shit...  I forgot about visiting her as Chat.  I thought she would've hated me so the thought slipped my mind.  But who was she talking to?'  I decide to listen in more.

"Marinette, I know you want to see him but don't you want to find out what is happening with Adrien?"

"I rather know what is going on with my partner that I care so much about and actually cares about me then some boy I dedicated 2 years to who all of a sudden starts to ignore me completely!"  She started to cry.

I don't know what she meant by "partner" but I knew she wanted to see him.  Adrien had no right going in there right now to talk to her but did Chat Noir really have it either?

After arguing back and forth with myself, I just decided to go sit back down.

Marinette came back soon after but didn't even sit back down.  She said her mother had called her and she needed her in the bakery.  She couldn't have been on the phone with her mother, the voice was too high.  So who was she talking to?  Ugh she gave me too much to think about.

For the rest of the brunch, I sat thinking quietly while Alya and Nino talked.

I hear a ping and look down at my phone.  Natalie had texted me saying I had a shoot at the park in 20 so I should start heading over.  I think this is the first time I have ever been happy to have a shoot.  Not only was I getting out of this awkward situation with Alya and Nino, but the shoot was at the park which is right next to Marinette's house.  I could just visit her as Chat once I was done.

~2 hours later~

It was around 4 o'clock and the sun had started to set.  Perfect to not be seen by anyone.  I walked into an alley an d allowed Plagg to come out from under my shirt.

"Kid, I don't know what you are thinking but no."  

"Plagg-"

"NO!"

"Claws out!" *Duna Dun Dun Dun*

I scaled the building I was next to and looked for Marinette's house.  I looked left to right and boom, she was on her balcony like the day we kissed.  A blush appeared on my face as I started fo her home.

I made my presence more known this time, making a loud thud followed by "Princess?"

Before I could even blink, she had ran up and thrown her arms around my neck, pulling me into a tight hug.  She stuffed her face into a crook in my neck and I heard some muffled crying.

I melted into the hug and sighed as a little tear left my eye.  I know it was my fault she was like this which made it hurt even more.  I had imagined she would be a little angry that I had not come by, I didn't think she would be crying.  Am I that important to her? 

We held each other in a comfortable silence for 5 minutes before she pulled away, wiped her tears and slapped my hand off of her.

"Well?"  She started to lecture me.  "I haven't seen you since Monday!  You are the second person who kissed me and then just started ignoring me!  Do you know what that does to a girl?"

She was right...  I hate to admit it but I had done the same thing twice.  I wanted so badly to kiss her and apologize for everything but I just stood there.

'I-"  I tried to say something but was immediately cut off by her dropping to the floor sobbing.  I slowly walk over to her and drop onto my knees.  I took her chin and lifted her face to mine slowly.  Her eyes glistening with the tears in her eyes.  

"Princess, I'm so so so sorry.  I didn't think about it that way.  Please forgive me."  I wiped the tears away from her eyes and she smiled.  If only she knew what that smile could light up a whole room.

She pounced on me and we just laid there together, holding each other and looking at the night sky.

I heard some snoring so I knew it was time to go.  I gently put one hand behind her back and another behind her knees and went through the trap door placing her on her bed.  God she is such an angel.

I place a kiss on her forehead, lingering for a couple seconds before jumping out the door and making my way home.  I could barely sleep that night because all I could think about was how tomorrow I was going to visit my Princess again.

Welp... uhhh this is kinda a filler chapter because a certain someone was forcing me to write and I didn't have a good plot for this someone.  Anyway.............
