Manvi was studying, Aarav was sitting opposite her and eyeing her. She looked at him and smiled "aise mat dekhiye mera concentration chala jayega fir"

Aarav smiled and said "nahi dekhta"

Manvi continued with her work. Aarav asked "Manvi where is the biology book?"

"bhool gayi laana.. rukiye main yahan se utha leti hun baad mein rakh dungi" Manvi replied. She moved to the shelf and searched for the book.

She looked and found it  on top shelf. She got the stool and stood on it. She pulled out the book but the stool was shaking. She fell off, Aarav grabbed her and both landed on the floor. Aarav was underneath and she was on top of him. They looked at each other and their eyes meet. Her hair loops disturbed his view. He tucked the hair loops behind her ears. A smile was playing on her lips.

Aarav came out of his trance and said "sambhalke.."

She said "Aap hai na bachane ke liye"

She stood up, he picked up his glasses and wore them. She said "Aap bahut cute lagte hai glasses mein.. "

"acha ab bas.. chalo padhai puri karo" he replied.

Manvi pouts "ab bhi aapko bas padhai hi sujhti hai na"

"toh kya sujhna chahiye mujhe?" he asked

Manvi spoke up "Aap na ek dum boring hai isliye ab tak aapki shaadi nhi hui.. aur koi gf bhi nahi thi.."

"tumhe bahut knowledge hai na? Toh batao boring ko interesting kaise banate hai?" he asked raising his eyebrow.

"oh god! Professor aapko pata hai meri best friend ka bf kitna kharcha karta hai uspe.. gifts deta hai, date pe le jaata hai, uske liye romantic cheezein plan karta hai aur aap hai ki aapne toh kuch bhi nahi kiya" she spoke up in one breath.

He said "Manvi tumhe pata hai main..."

But she cuts him "maloom hai aapko faltu kharcha pasand nahi hai.. aur expensive gifts mujhe chahiye bhi nahi mere papa ne mujhe sab diya hua hai mujhe.. shopping bhi wo karwa dete hai.."

He smiled and said "toh direct bolo na tumhe mere saath date pe jaana hai ye ghuma firake baat kyun karti ho?"

She eyed him and said "Aap seedhi baatein samjhate kaha hai"

"lekin Manvi hum nahi jaa sakte hai? Sab kya sochenge haan? Tumhare maa baap unse kahogi ki tum apne biology professor se pyar karti ho aur date pe jaana chahti ho? Aur wo haan kar denge?" he said.

Manvi looked at him and thought for while. She replied "unhe iss baare mein pata nahi chalega professor.."

"kabhi na kabhi toh pata chalega na? Fir kya karogi?" he asked.

"tab ka tab dekenge abhi mujhe bas aapke saath time spend karna hai.. I just want  to be blindly In love with you" Manvi said.

"tum sach mein paagal ho" he said.

"mujhe pata hai.." she said and both bursted out into laughter.

She looked at the time "3 baj gaye chalti hun.."

She went to the table and packed her bag. She hung it behind, Aarav said "Manvi.."

She turned to him smilingly "jee"

"aaj raat dinner karogi mere saath?" he asked.

She nodded happily "jee pakka.. 8 baje aa jaungi aapke ghar" and ran out from there.

She sat inside the cab and heads to home, she thought "haan toh kah diya lekin ghar pe kya bolungi? Professor ke saath date pe jaa rahi hun... mumma toh katal hi kar dengi mera, kuch sochna padega"

She messaged shruti and she called back "haan Shru.. bol na kya karun main?" a smile came on her face.. "great! Thank you love you jaan.." and ended the call.

She reached home, Ruhana said "khana rakha hai table pe ek ghante se zyada tv dekhogi nahi tum samjhi"

Manvi nodded and ate the food. After the food, she moved to the room and began studying.

Around 6.30 Vineet returned from office, Manvi came to him and said "papa aaj Shruti ka birthday hai aur wo mere saath dinner karna chahti hai.. hum akele nahi honge uska dost saath mein hoga aur uske papa bhi"

Ruhana said "nahi kahi jaane ki zaroorat nahi hai exams aa rahe hai ghar mein baithke padhai karo"

Manvi spoke up "papa please.. ek mahine ho gaya hai aapne kuch nhi leke diya mujhe.. aur ab main party mein bhi na jau? Pehle toh aap sab maante they na meri baat.."

"thik hai Manvi jao" he said.

Manvi hugged him tightly and kissed his cheek "thank you.. I will get ready.."

"nahi.. ruko.. Vineet itni raat ko kaise tum use bhej sakte ho?" Ruhana asked.

"Wo akeli kaha jaa rahi hai Ruhana.. shruti ko hum jaante hai na... " he said.

"Vineet.. galti kar rahe ho.. itna bhi andha vishwas acha nhi hai" Ruhana spoke up.

"tumhe nahi hai lekin mujhe hai... Manvi jao tum" Vineet said.

Manvi was left in thoughts, she moved to the room and thought "papa ko jhooth bola maine.. mere liye wo hamesha mumma se ladte hai.. kya main unhe hurt nahi kar rahi hun?"

She brushed off her thoughts and got ready. Ruhana entered inside the room and asked "ye itna short dress kyun pehena hai?"

Manvi turned and said "mumma party ke liye hai.."

"nahi.. change it.." Ruhana said. She pulled out a dress for her "isko pehenke jao koi behes nahi chahiye mujhe samjhi tum! Warna ghar baitho"

Manvi sighed.. she moved to the bathroom and changed the dress. She came out and said "Ab khush ho aap?" and left from there picking up her phone.

She messaged Shruti and asked her to meet at some place. She meet her and smiled.

"tune mujhse ye dress kyun mangwayi?" she asked.

"ye pehenke unke saath date pe jaungi kya? I am looking too fat in this!" Manvi complained.

She clicked a picture with her and posted it on the social media. "enjoying night with bestiee..."

Shruti smiled "tu bahut intelligent hai Manvi.. meri tricks use kar rahi hai.."

"best friend hai fayda toh uthana hai hi tera.. chal bye" she said and left to Aarav's home.

She reached his place, the house was locked. She thought "mujhe bulake kaha chale gaye?"

Her phone buzzed. She read a message "come to the terrace"

She quickly took the lift and reached the terrace. She opened the door and was left astonished with the scenario.

It was decorated and right in middle was a table with a candle placed in between. Aarav turned to her and looked at her.

She was looking beautiful in the dress she was wearing. He smiled at her. She moved to him and asked "yeh sab aapne kiya?"

He nodded positively "haan.. uss din tumne itna acha khudse mera birthday special banaya toh maine bhi socha ye dinner special banau"

She smiled, she jumped on her toes and hugged him tightly "oh my god!! this is so adorable!"

He wrapped his hands around her. She said "chodiye.. mere pair dukh rahe hai"

He left her and smiled..

"bahut bhook lagi hai chaliye dinner karte hai" Manvi said.

They sat opposite each other. Manvi looked at the food and smiled "wow.. aapko sab pata hai meri favourite dishes?" she asked while looking at him.

He nodded..

They ate the dinner, she was continuously speaking and he was looking at her. After the dinner she spoke up "aap toh bahut hi ache cook hai."

"thank you.. aur ab toh tumne bhi seekh hi liya hai khana banana" he said.

"haan aapne seekhaya mujhe.." she said.

The music was playing, she asked "Dance?"

He nodded..  

They stood up, she held his hand. He kept his hand on her waist. She kept on his shoulder and they started dancing with the slow music.

Their eyes meet, he turned her and kept his face on her neck. She closed her eyes nervously. He inhaled her fragrance. He moved his hands from her palm to right to her shoulder. She shivered with touch.

He turned her around again, she eyed him. He kissed her lips, she smiled under it and responded back passionately. He was just left shocked with this move of hers. They separated when they were out of breath. He trailed down to her neck, his finger went to the strip of her dress. He was about to slid it down but stopped and stepped back.

"kya hua?" she asked.

Aarav replied "Manvi tumhe ghar jaana chahiye ab.. kaafi late ho gaya hai.."

"Aap.. achanak?" she asked.

"dekho Manvi.. hum pyar karte hai lekin isse zyada main tumhare saath kuch nahi kar sakta hun.. please jao.. date khatam" he said.

She was confused and left the place bewildered.

Aarav thought "yeh kya karne jaa raha tha main.. wo abhi bas solah saal ki hai.. yeh sab samjhti bhi nahi hogi.. " he was left in thoughts.
