Manvi was avoiding going to biology classes. Aarav thought "ye classes mein kyun nhi aa rahi hai... aise toh fail ho jayegi baat karni padegi usse"

Manvi was in the library, Aarav came to her. She moved but he stopped her "wait Manvi.."

But she ignored. Aarav held her wrist and said "main baat kar raha hun tumse how can you not talk to me?"

She turned him and said "professor mujhe aapse koi baat nahi karni hai aapne hi kaha tha ki main aapse na milun toh wahi kar rahi hun"

"Iska yeh matlab nahi ki tum classes bunk karo aur apni performance weak karo" he said.

"Aapko isse kya professor? Meri parwah karne ki zaroorat nahi hai aapko!" she said in anger.

Aarav looked around and pulled her from there. He took her to an empty classroom and said "dekho Manvi.. Meri wajah tum apni studies and sports neglect mat karo please"

Manvi said "main kaha kuch kar rahi hun professor? Mera dil hi jo maan nhi raha hai.. Sab kehte hai aap ache professor hai ache insan hai lekin mere liye aap special hai"

"Dekho Manvi.. Samjhne ki koshish karo tum aur main.." he said..

But she cut him "aap aur main teacher and student hai yahi na.. Isse kya farak padta hai professor pyar ye nahi dekhta aap jayie apni class lijiye.. Jo hoga mera hoga aapko usse kya" she said in anger and turned to other side.

"Manvi.. Listen.." he tried to convince her.

"Agar ab main kuch sunungi toh aapki haan professor warna kuch nahi.. " she said and left the room.

The result were out, other students said "Are manvi iss baar kya hua? Tum itna low kaise ho gayi?"

Aarav was standing and talking to one of the staff. He was hearing the conversation.

"Ho jaata hai kabhi kabhi.. Sneha kisi cheez ko jab dilse chaho aur wo tumhe nahi mile toh asar padta hai sabpe" Manvi replied while eyeing at Aarav.

Shruti took her to a side and said "mannu... academic performance pe asar aaj ghar jayegi toh kya kahegi?"

"Pata nahi Shruti.. Papa toh kuch nhi kahenge haan mumma naraz ho jayengi I will handle it" she said and left.

Aarav came to Shruti and said "Shruti tum uski best friend ho.. Aur.."

"Professor main sab jaanti hun wo galat nhi hai professor aapko pata hai usko haar pasand nahi bilkul lekin aapke liye wo sab haarne ko tayar hai.. Hamara basketball match bhi.. Aapne agar ek baar unko haan kar diya na toh sab thik ho jayega.." she said.

"Tum kya kah rahi ho? Tumhe usko samjhana chahiye wo galat raste pe jaa rahi hai" Aarav said.

"Wo itni aage nikal gayi hai ki main usko nahi rok sakti hun.. Paagal hai wo jo chahiye paake rehti hai.. Aap batayie kya aapko usse pyar nahi hai?" she asked.

He was silent and Shruti left from there.

Singhaniya Home

Manvi reached home and moved to her room. Ruhana entered inside and asked "Aaj result aane wala tha na tumhara?"

She nodded in yes "haan"

"Kaha hai?" she asked.

Manvi took out the report book from the bag and gave it to her. She opened and looked she was shocked "ye kya hai mannu?? Red marks?"

"Wo.. iss baar papers hard they" she said.

"Manvi jhooth mat bolo tum! Saaf saaf bolo tumne padhai ki hi nhi kaise karogi? 24 hours phone mein lage rehna, masti karni aane do aaj tumhare papa ko dono ki khabar leti hun main" she said and moved out of the room.

Later in evening, Vineet came back home. There was a complete silence in the house. He had a hint something big is going to happen soon. He eyed at Manvi who was sitting on the dining table with book in her hand. He eyed her and asked the matter. She was silent and continued studying.

Vineet moved to the room to change and then came back. He sat on the couch, Ruhana served him the cup of tea.

He asked "kuch hua kya?"

"nahi tum chai piyo.. baad mein baat karte hai" Ruhana said calmly.

Manvi's phone ringed, Manvi picked up "hello haan Shru.. bhejti hun kuch der mein bye" and ended the call.

She opened the browser but sighed, "papa wo internet top up kar dijiye na"

"haan karta hun.." he said.

Ruhana stopped him with "koi top up nahi hoga do mahine"

Vineet asked "lekin kyun?"

"Vineet.. yeh tum apni laadli se hi pucho" she said.

"offo Ruhana batao bhi do ab kya hua hai?" he asked.

She showed him the report card "dekho zara red marks ye natija hai itne bigadne ka tumhare"

He looked and then eyed at Manvi. Who was sitting sadly with crying face.

"Ruhana kabhi kabhi ho jaata hai itni badi baat nahi hai yeh" Vineet said.

Ruhana eyed him "badi baat nahi hai Vineet? Seriously? Chalo thik hai ho jaata hai ek do subjects mein ho toh koi baat nahi hai lekin every subject Vineet! Ab tak sirf biology tha lekin jin subjects mein ye average rahi wo bhi down ho gayi" she said.

Vineet said "Ruhana iska yeh matlab nahi hai ki tum sab kuch band kardogi uska... bachchi hi hai wo tum kabhi fail nhi hui kya life mein?"

"Ofcourse hui hoon Vineet lekin aaj reason hai tumhara usko expensive phone dena, kisi baatke liye nahi rokna.. Mujhe bilkul narazgi nahi hai ki ye fail hui hai! Boards exams aane waale hai aise karegi toh kaise hoga? Atleast tum toh samajhne ki koshish karo. " she said.

Manvi moved into the room, Vineet watched her. "Ruhana tum kuch zyada kar rahi ho.. Pyar bhi samjhaya jaa sakta hai.."

"Jao samjhao tum ho na samjhane ke liye" she said.

Vineet moved to Manvi's room, he found her sitting on the bed and crying. He sat beside her and asked "kya hua? Ye result aisa kyun aaya tumhara?"

She can't tell him the actual reason, she replied "papa wo shruti se ladai ho gayi thi and aapko pata hai wahi meri best friend hai.. Bas sochte sochte.. Aise concentration chala gaya mera"

"Itni si baat pe itna sara tension liya tumne? Pakka yahi baat hai?" he asked.

She nodded in yes.. "Toh mujhe bol deti aake main sort out kara deta matter tum dono ka.. And next time work harder.. Dekho maine tumhe sab diya hai tumhari mumma ke against jaake and you will not let me down right na?"

She nodded and hugged him.. She thought "main galat kar rahi hun.. Papa trusts me.. Aur main. But I love him"

"Lo top up kar diya hai tumhara.." he said while giving her the phone.

She smiled and he moved out.

Ruhana glared at him "Vineet tum.."

"Ruhana please.. Jaane do ab" Vineet requested.

Ruhana sighed "okay fine! Nahi sunni hai tumhe. Bas main hi galat kar rahi hoon na. Beti ke pyar mein tumhe sahi galat nhi nazar aa raha hai usne jo kaha tumne maan liya"

"Wo jhooth kyun kahegi Ruhana?" he asked.

" you never know. Tumse iss baare mein baat karna bekar hai. Tum samajhna hi nahi chahte. Eklauti beti hai wo hamari, lekin iska ye matlab nahi hai ki uspe aankh band krke bharosa karo. Marks dekhe uske? Hum usey sab de rahe hai toh she should return it back with good marks atleast. Itna toh expect kar sakte hai na apni beti se? " she said.

"Hamare time mein nahi tha internet ghanton library mein baithna padta tha, she has it, toh usey kaam ke liye use kare na. Its not for fun always. Ye uski Zindagi ke wo saal hai jo kabhi wapas nahi aayenge. Sambhalna usey khud hoga. Hum sirf samjha sakte hai. Main nhi chahti ki meri beti apna koi bhi faisla regret kare,jo main aaj tak karti hun." she said and left while Vineet was left in thoughts.

St. Xavier's School

The next day, Manvi went to school.

Shruti said "yaar mannu pichle 2 hafte se tu aise udas rehti hai.. Pehle kitna bak bak karti thi ab lagta hai tu mere saath hai hi nahi"

"Ab toh Manvi Singhaniya wapas tab hi aayegi jab professor khud aake mujhse kahenge he also loves me.." Manvi replied and moved to the classroom.

Aarav sighed and thought "yeh ladki itni ziddi kyun hai?"

He moved to library, he sat down and started preparing notes for tomorrow. He was lost in thoughts.

"Professor meri life hai aapko kya farak padta hai?"

"Mujhe aapse door rehna hai na toh main aapki classes nahi attend karungi"

"Pyar toh bas ho gaya aapse"

"Bahut badi paagal hun main.. Abhi aapne jaana kaha hai mujhe"

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. One of his colleague came and sat opposite him.

"Aarav guess what? Prerna accepted my proposal" he said.

"What? Lekin wo toh tujhse umar mein 3 saal badi hai na?" Aarav asked.

"Toh kya hua yaar? Pyar toh karti hai mujhse haaye I am just glowing.. Pyar mein umar dharam jaati sab nahi dekha jaata hai Aarav.. Pyar mein khudke liye jeeya jaata hai ek akelepan ko door karne ka ehsaas hai ye.. Wo care pagalpan.. Chal main chalta hun meri class ka time ho gaya hai"  he said and left.

Aarav was again left in thoughts..
