Ruhana was arranging dinner at the dining table, she called "manvi aa jao khana lag gaya hai"

But there was no reply. Vineet said "main leke aata hun"

He entered into the room and found her sleeping. He sat on bed and kept his hand on her head. He called "mannu utho.. Khana kha lo"

But she turned to other side to more cozy position. He smiled and moved out. He said "wo soh gayi hai Ruhana ab nahi uthegi"

"Bhooki soh gayi? Uthao usko.." she said.

"Sone doh Ruhana ab neend bhi kharab karogi uski?" he asked.

"Vineet main jo karti hun uski bhalayi ke liye hi hai.. Subah uthegi toh pet dard karega uska main uthake aati hun" she said and moved to her room.

She entered inside she wanted to wake her up but stopped. "Chodo sone deti hun uthke fir drama karegi raat bhar jaagegi" and moved out.

The next morning, Vineet came to her room and woke her up. He asked "kya hua? Aise hi kaise soh gayi tum kal?"

"Kuch nahi papa bas aise hi.." she replied in different tone.

"Manvi dekho agar kabhi koi problem ho toh tum mujhe bata sakti ho aur haan tumhare liye main tumhari mumma se bhi jhagda karta hun mujhe bharosa hai tum mera trust nahi todogi" he said.

She was left thoughtful and smiled "jee papa.."

He kissed her forehead "now get ready late ho raha hai school ke liye" he said and left the room.

She thought "kahi main kuch galat toh nahi kar rahi? Professor ke ghar jaane ke liye kitne bahane banaye maine. Wo mujhpe itna vishwas kartr hai, kya karu? . Bata dun kya papa ko sab? "she sighed and moved to the bathroom.

She came out and sat for the breakfast. She thought about what happened at Aarav's home.

Ruhana saw her and asked "kya baat hai nashta kyun nahi kar rahi ho tum?"

Manvi looked and nodded "kar rahi hun.." she began eating.

The bus arrived, she picked up her bag and left. Ruhana shouted "Are nashta toh kar pura"

"Dekha tumne.. Bilkul nhi sunti hai" Ruhana complained.

Vineet said "bus aa gayi thi Ruhana.. School mein kha legi wo kuch. Itna tension acha nahi hai."

Ruhana looked at him... "Manvi choti bachi nahi hai vineet. Aur kuch dinon se ajeeb sa behaviour. Tension nahi hogi toh kya hoga. " she said.

He held her from her shoulders..." Relax Ruhana!! Maine kaha hai usko, koi baat hogi toh bata degi wo. Aisa kuch nahi karegi mannu, jisse hame takleef ho. " he said.

Ruhana sighed... "Dekhti hoon. I wish jo tum keh rahe ho wahi sach ho. " she said and got busy in her chores while he left for his office.

Xt. Xavier's school

Manvi was sitting on the staircase. Shruti came running and said "pure school mein dekh liya tujhe and tu yahan baithi hai kya hua?"

"Professor se naraz hun main.. He rejected my proposal! I will not talk to him" she said.

Shruti hits her head "duffer! Kya zaroorat thi I love you bolne ki. aise devdas banke baithi rah ab puri life"

"Toh kya karti? Mujhse nahi raha jaata.. Wo bhi toh kiss ke liye guilty feel kar rahe they.. Chal ab class mein" she said.

"Lekin tu unke bina kaise rahegi?" Shruti asked.

"Reh lungi main.. He broke my heart.. Huh" Manvi said.

Aarav's home

He looked at the time it was 2pm. Shanta kaki came in and asked "Are sahab wo Manvi nhi aayi.. Aaj lagta hai aapka khana mujhe hi banana padega"

Aarav smiled lightly. Today the day was passing so slow and steady for him. He thought about Manvi..

"Professor aapko shaadi kar leni chahiye"

'Professor ye topic kitna boring hai.. Mujhse nhi hoga"

"Main paagal hun sabse badi.."

"Wow.. sexyy.."

He smiled and thought "yeh kya ho raha hai mujhe.. Kyun main uske baare mein soch raha hun.. Nahi Aarav wo teri student hai isse zyada kuch nahi"

Someone came in, it was the doctor. He sat on the couch, the doctor checked him up. He smiled "good Mr. Aarav kaafi fast aapne recover kar liya hai I can remove the plaster now"

The doctor removes the plaster. He smiled "lagta hai kisi ne aapko strictly mana kiya tha chalne firne se.. Kaafi improvement hai"

"Kya ab main school jaa sakta hun?" he asked.

"Yea sure.. Kalse you can join be careful.. Few days." the doctor said and left.

Manvi's home

She was sitting on the couch and the movie was playing, it was her favourite movie but today she was not interested or excited about it.

Vineet sat beside her and saw her. "Aaj aise chup chap kyun movie dekh rahi ho?" he asked.

She seemed to be lost somewhere. He hits her arm lightly "mannu.."

She looked at him "haan papa.."

"Kya hua?? Sab thik hai na?" he asked.

She nodded positively "haan papa sab thik hai"  

"Then why so silent?" he asked.

"Kuch nahi papa bas aise hi main room mein jaati hun kaam hai" she said and left to the room.

Vineet eyed at Ruhana, who said "meri taraf aise mat dekho maine kuch nahi kaha hai usey"

"Tumhare behaviour se toh wo pareshan hai na" he said.

"Koi pareshan nhi hai wo.. School mein kuch hua hoga" she replied.

"Hota toh batati na" he said.

"Vineet mujhe samjhane ke bajaye tumhe usko samjhana chahiye. Main uski dushman nahi hoon. Yeh umar usey sahi galat ki pehchaan karvane ki hai. Ek hi beti hai hamari, I'm sure you want to see the best in her. Aur aajkal na jaane kahan khoyi rehti hai. Vineet please understand now." Ruhana replied and moved to the room.

He sighed and thought "Jaisi maa, waisi beti. dono hi ziddi hai.."

St. Xavier's School

The next morning, Manvi and Shruti were heading to the classroom. Shruti said "mannu aaj Professor Aarav wapas aaye hai school"

Manvi stopped and asked "kya? Tune dekha unhe?"

"Nahi.. baaki students baat kar rahe they finally biology class wapas se interesting hoga" Shruti said.

"Acha sun tu class jaa main nahi aa rahi hun" Manvi replied and left.

Shruti sighed and moved to the classroom. She sat at her place, Aarav entered into the classroom.

"Good morning Students"

All wished him, he looked beside Shruti and Manvi was not there.

"So.. pure ek mahine baad aaya hun! Let's begin with warm up topics" he said and started teaching.

"All right aap sab apni notebooks yahan mere desk pe rakh dijiye I will mark and return" he said.

Everyone kept the notebook and left the classroom. He stopped Shruti.. "Ek minute Shruti..."

Shruti looked at him "yes professor"

"Manvi nahi aayi aaj?" he asked.

"Professor wo subah aayi thi pata nhi class mein kyun nahi aayi" shruti replied and left the room.

Aarav moved to the library and found Manvi sitting and doing some work. He approached her but she ignored him. She stood up and left the place. He looked on at her.

She thought "mujhe aapse baat hi nahi karni hai.. Abhi aapne jaana kaha hai Manvi ko ek baar gussa aaya na toh manana muskil hota hai huh"

After the school was over, Manvi moved to the court. Shruti said "Are itne dino se practice pe nahi aayi hai tu! Month end mein final match hai kaise jeetegi?"

"Shut up Shruti.. I will do it" Manvi replied.

She began playing but was missing the tricks and the goals many times. She sighed..

The captain shouted "kya hai yeh Manvi? Itna acha khelti ho abhi kya hua hai tumhe?"

"Dekh mujhpe chillane ki zaroorat nahi hai samjhi.. Abhi dimag bahut garam hai mera" she said and left from there.

Aarav watched all this, he thought "shayad meri wajah se yeh match nahi khel paa rahi hai.."

Manvi reached home.

Ruhana asked her "aaj tumne basketball practice mein gadbad ki?"

"Aapko kaise pata chala?" Manvi asked nervously.

"Coach ka phone aaya tha agar tum aise hi khelogi toh month end mein match haar jaogi.. Dhyan kaha hai tumhara aaj kal?" Ruhana asked.

"Kuch nahi mumma.." Manvi said..

"Manvi meri baat samajh lo tum.. Ab tumhari manmani nahi chalegi samjhi. bahut ho gaya masti mazak be serious now, dekh rahi hun pichle 2 mahino se tumhara dhyan hai hi nahi padhai pe, na sports mein chal kya raha hai?" she asked.

"Mumma it is nothing" Manvi said and left to the room. Ruhana sighed disappointedly.

The next day internal exams began, Manvi was all lost and thinking about Aarav. Shruti said "mannu kya hua hai? Tune exams mein bilkul kuch nhi likha.."

"Main kya karun shruti? Professor ne jabse mujhe unse door rehne ko kaha hai mera mann kahi nahi lag raha hai.." Manvi replied.

"Dekh mannu.. Iss sabka asar agar padhai pe padega toh mumma papa ko tere doubt hoga na.. Then how will you answer them?" she asked.

"Mujhe nahi pata Shruti.. Chal tu abhi" she said.
