Vineet was sitting on the couch and watching cricket match. Ruhana said "Vineet kuch aur lagao na ye match hatao"

Vineet spoke up "Ruhana ruko interesting point chal raha hai match ka"

Ruhana sighed, she picked up the magazine and starts reading it. After sometime, Manvi came out of the room and sat on the couch. She looked at the television and said "papa yeh match wo movie aa rahi hogi"

Vineet looked at her and replied "abhi lagata hun" he changed the channel.

Ruhana looked at him with open mouth "haww jab maine bola tab nahi hataya iske ek baar ke kehne pe hi hata diya tumne"

Vineet smiled and said "abhi match important nhi hai"

"Acha? Toh pehle tha?" she asked.

He nodded in yes, Ruhana threw cushion towards him "how mean Vineet"

Vineet grabs it and said "Are beti ko naraz thodi karna hai mujhe"

"Acha matlab biwi ko karna hai" she said glancing at him.

"Nahi.. mera wo matlab nahi tha" Vineet said.

"Toh kya tha?" Ruhana asked her in anger.

Manvi interrupts "offo aap dono ko ladna hai toh room mein jaake ladiye meri movie mein disturbance mat kijiye"

Ruhana glanced at her and said "chup raho tum toh! Tumhari wajah se Vineet sunta nahi meri"

Manvi mumurmed "main bhi kaha sunti hun aapki"

But Ruhana heard it "exactly dono mein se koi nahi sunta niklo ghar se mere dono" she said in anger pointing towards the door.

Vineet and Manvi looked at them shockingly "haww itni si baat ke liye ghar se nikalogi hum masoom ko" Vineet said making face.

Ruhana eyed him "tum dono masoom? Joke of the universe hai yeh" she said.

Manvi laughed "jo bhi hai aapki jholi mein daala hai bhagwaan ne hum masoom ko" she said while sharing high - 5 with Vineet.

Ruhana sighed, she tapped her head in irritation "Tum dono kabhi meri baat seriously nahi lete"

Manvi said "agar hum bhi aapke jaise serious baat karne lage toh yeh ghar boring ho jayega"

Vineet nodded in yes "exactly Roo!"

"Okay fine dekho mujhe nahi dekhni yeh movie" she got up and moved to the room.

Manvi looked at Vineet and complained "papa aapne naraz kar diya mumma ko"

"Are maine kaha kiya tumne kiya" he blamed her.

"Haww mannu ne kuch nhi kiya aapne kiya" she said.

"Tumne kiya" he argued.

Manvi sighed "acha okay hum dono ne kiya chalo dekhte hai unhe" she switched off the television and both moved into the room.

Ruhana was sitting on bed scrolling her phone, Manvi called "mumma"

But Ruhana did not responded to her, Vineet also called "Roo.." 

Ruhana turned to other side and engrossed in phone. Manvi hoped on bed and wrapped her hands around her neck "mumma don't be angry"

Ruhana jerked her hands away "mannu don't disturb"

"Are humse important kya kaam hai tumhare paas phone mein? Vineet asked her.

"Kyun batau? Tum dono jaake dekho movie" she said in anger tone.

Vineet came and sat in front of her "ab tum aise ruthogi toh movie mein kaise maza aayega" he said making face.

"Haan haan thik hai toh mat dekho" Ruhana said while scrolling down.

Manvi snatched the phone from her "kya mumma yahan hum aapko mana rahe hai aur aap phone mein lage ho" she complained.

Ruhana folds her arms around her chest, Vineet shook his head and said "Roo khud se maan jao warna hum apne tarike se manayenge"

Ruhana remained silent and adamant. Manvi eyed Vineet, he smirked.

He signalled Manvi, Manvi moves down her hands to her waist and starts tickling her there. Ruhana scolds her "mannu nahi.."

Vineet was about to tickle her but Ruhana said "Acha acha maan gayi.. Tickle mat karna bahut zorke karte ho tum"

Vineet smiled, Ruhana pulled Manvi in front and starts tickling, Manvi was laughing out loud "aah.. Mumma nahi.. Bas bas karo papa save me"

"Roo this is cheating" Vineet said.

Ruhana smiled and teased him "no cheating only tickling"

Ruhana stopped tickling Manvi, she stood up and said "very bad mumma! Ab saza milegi chalo hamare saath movie dekho wo bhi horror"

"Na na mujhe nahi dekhni" Ruhana said while getting up but Vineet and Manvi pulled her back.

"Roo movie toh dekhni padegi mannu jaldi se lagao iss tv pe" Vineet said while looking at Manvi.

Manvi nodded, she quickly puts the movie on. Manvi kept her head on Ruhana's lap so that she could not get up "mumma enjoy and don't disturb"

Vineet turned off the lights and they watched the movie. Soon movie ended, Manvi fall asleep after that in her lap.

Ruhana looked down at her "lo yeh toh soh gayi"

Vineet shifted her head to the pillow and covered her with blanket. Both kissed on her forehead and slept on each side. 

It was saturday, a half day of school. Manvi got ready and said "mumma jaldi se khana dedo professor ka"

Ruhana came to her and asked "ek minute mannu aaj saturday hai na toh tu jaldi aayegi ghar wapas"

Manvi thought and then said "Are nahi mumma school ke baad basketball practice hai fir waha se direct professor ke ghar then shyam ko yahan aaungi"

Ruhana taps her head "pehle kyun nhi bataya ruk do minute tera lunch pack kar deti hun school mein kha lena" she moved into the kitchen.

Manvi smiled, Ruhana came back after sometime and gave the tiffin to her "ye lo" 

St. Xavier's School

Shruti and Manvi were talking, Shruti asked her "mannu yeh tiffin?"

"Professor ke liye hai" she said.

Shruti looked at her shockingly "kya? Mannu tujhe sach mein professor ko like karne lagi hai"

Manvi glanced at her and said "Shut up Shru! Acha sun aaj main after school basketball practices mein nahi aa sakti"

Shruti asked her "kyun??"

"Wo.. kuch kaam hai ghar pe chal bye" she waved her bye and left.

Shruti smiled "tera kaam mujhe pata hai mannu! Professor ke saath jo waqt bitana hai tujhe"

Manvi took the auto to Aarav's home. After 30 minutes, she was at his home. She moved inside as the door was open. Aarav was changing the dressing of his hand wound.

Manvi said "rukiye professor"

Aarav looked at her at her sudden voice and the bandage dropped from his hand, he sighed "manvi you scared me"

Manvi smiled "sorry aapse nhi hoga main help karti hun aapki"

She sat on the couch on the side, he said "nahi it is fine I will do it"

Manvi folds her arms around her chest "okay fine kar lijiye main bhi nahi padhungi" she said adamantly.

Aarav looked at her and said

"acha thik hai karo bahut ziddi ho tum"

Manvi smiled "wo toh main hun mumma bhi yahi kehti hai.."

She picked up the bandage from floor and kept it a side. She picked up another one from the box and starts wrapping it. Her finger touched his wound and he wrinched "ahh.."

Manvi bits her tongue out "sorry professor"

He shook his head "it is fine karo tum"

Manvi nodded and continued bandaging. He looked at her and smiled lightly. She was done and smiled "lijiye ho gaya.."

"Thank you" he said. He then looked at the time it was still 12.30, he asked her "aaj tum itni jaldi kaise aa gayi?"

Manvi replied "wo school aaj 12 baje khatam ho gaya na isliye"

"Lekin aaj tumhara basketball practice tha na?" he asked.

"Nahi wo aaj cancel ho gaya ab main yahan der tak ruk sakti hun" she said happily. She then took out the tiffin from her bag "Aur yeh raha aapka khana"

"Tumne lunch kiya?" he asked her.

"Nahi professor school se direct yahi aa gayi main" she replied.

"Toh ab khalo" he said.

"Aur aap?" she asked.

"Main yahi kha leta hun abhi tak order nahi kiya hai maine lunch" he said.

Manvi nodded, they start eating. Manvi was continuously talking to him "aur aapko pata hai kal raat toh maine aur papa ne mumma ko movie dikha hi di"

Aarav smiled and said "Manvi pehle khana khalo baad mein baatein karna"

She nodded and silently ate the food.

After the food, Aarav said "Acha ab chalo take out your books"

Manvi took then out, she complained "aapko pata hai aaj toh main class mein soh hi gayi thi itna boring topic tha"

"Kya tha?" he asked

"Ecosystem tha sab sar ke upar se fir gaya" she complained.

"Chalo main tumhe demo se samjhata hun" Aarav said, and he started explaining to her. She smiled as she understood.

He asked "aaja samjh?"

"Jee professor aa gaya!" Manvi said and noted the points.

Aarav checked her other work and smiled "good Manvi kafi improvement kar rahi ho tum! Lekin kabhi kabhi tumhara dhyan idhar udhar bhatak jaata hai jab main samjhata hun"

Manvi murmured "aap saamne honge toh dhyan toh bhatkega hi professor"

He eyed her and asked "kuch kaha tumne?"

Manvi denies "no professor" something striked her mind and she asked "professor ab aap dinner mein kya lenge? Yeh toh abhi kha liya aapne"

"Kuch bana lunga main" he replied.

Manvi was shocked "Are aise kaise bana lenge? Aapko plaster laga hai na aur aapka haath ka chot bhi sahi nahi hai" she said in anger.

"Toh kaun banayega?" he asked..

"Main karti hun na" she said.

He eyed her thoughtful "tumhe aata hai?" he asked.

Manvi sits back on the couch "nahi aata yahi toh problem hai lekin agar aap bataye toh I can try" she said with a hope.

Aarav smiled and said "nahi manvi koi baat nhi hai I will manage"

Manvi gets sad "professor aap mujhe padhate hai bina kuch maange aur main aapke liye itna bhi nhi kar sakti"

Aarav eyed her and said "Acha acha thik hai itna emotional mat ho!"

Manvi smiled "woohu.. Chalyie batayie kya karna hai?" she asked.

He got up and moved a bit, Manvi came to support and helped him walk towards the kitchen. She made him sit on the chair.

"Thik hai jaise kehta hun waisa karo" he said.

Manvi nodded, she followed his instructions and started cooking. Aarav shouted "Are nahi wo cheeni hai namak nhi"

Manvi bits her tongue out "sorry.." she kept back the sugar box and then picked up the salt box. 

While doing so something caught Aarav's attention, he shouted "Manvi.."
