[Y/N] sighed as she listened to the automated message about unattended or lost items at the airport. The message had gone off maybe, five times since she had been there last. While it was annoying to listen to, the message did serve a good purpose. Keep your shit together or it will be stolen! [Y/N] was going to be flying from  her home town of [H/T] all the way to London, England to spend ten months with her best friend, Lucy Boynton. Yes, you heard correctly. Lucy Boynton, as is Mary Austin in Bohemian Rhapsody, Lucy. [Y/N] never treated it as a big deal when she went to see her best friend. She never gloated that she was friends with a celebrity. She treated her friendship with anyone as just that. A normal friendship. [Y/N]'s phone dinged as she got a text message from the woman herself. She chuckled when she saw a picture of Lucy and her boyfriend, Rami.

Lu-Lu🥰: Hurry up! I'm tired of waiting! Oh, and Rami says hi.

[Y/N] smiled and texted back.

Me: My flight's taking forever! 😭Literally, it's like, 9:30 am and we were supposed to be in the air at 9.

Lu-Lu🥰: Aw boo! ☹️Well, you can't blame the airport staff. They're trying as hard as they can.

Me: Yeah. I guess that's true.

[Y/N] looked up when she saw one of the flight attendants walk up to the podium.

"Good morning, ladies and gentleman and thank you for choosing [H/T] Airlines. I would just like to remind you that any carryon items must be stowed in the overhead compartments about your seats in the plane. If you would like to have your bag checked, please let me know here at the podium when I call your row and number. Any luggage such as wheel-chairs and strollers will be folded and checked on the flight so you don't have to worry about it. Please have your passports and ID's ready for when I call your row and group. Thank you." The flight attendant began calling the rows and numbers. [Y/N] quickly texted Lucy.

Me: We're boarding now. I'll text you when we land. Love you, Luc! 😘I can't wait to see you!

Lu-Lu🥰: Love you to, [N/N]! 😘💞I can't wait to see you either, love! Have a safe flight! Let me know when you've landed. There's are some people that I want you to meet!
