We sat in the Franxx quietly, waiting

"Think we could open it now?" Code 234 asks me. I fumble around with buttons until I reach one that opens the cockpit. A breeze of fresh air comes in to enlighten my nose....would have been better had I not taken in a smell of Magma Energy

Code 234 exits the Franxx as I stumble my own way out

"Look, survivors!" A Franxx says as I slip and smash my head on the Franxx doors

I open my eyes to be in the presence of a totally different place. I must have been knocked out... it's hard to determine. I open my eyes, purely to uphold my secret.

"You awake," A woman says

I lay upright and look in the direction of her voice

"What happened?" She asks cutting right to the chase

"Who are you?" I demand ignoring her questions

"I'd thought your eyes would answer that, but I'm Plantation 13's Nana, now answer my question," She says answering my question with an aggravated voice

"We were attacked by a worm-like Klaxosour," I tell her calmly

She was silent waiting for more

"It took out our team and I think our plantation, it knocked my Pistil put so I couldn't see what happened," I finish

"Yes, the Klaxosour, we took care of it before I sent our team to recover you two," She says watching me

"Code 234 is interacting with the other parasites until further orders, you shall do the same once you have been cleared," She says standing up and leaving

I assume doctors come in and started doing checkups on me. Once they were happy with my condition, they transported me to the other parasites. Once we reached our destination, the people who transported me left

The parasites must have been alerted since they were waiting when I arrived

"You big klutz," Code 234 says walking over as she rubs my head

I can tell the others are looking at me

"This is Code 028," my partner announces as she stops rubbing my head and turns to them

"Hmm, I'm Zorome," a boy says holding his hand out

I shake it while looking confused

"We gave each other names a while back, I'm Hiro," another boy says

"Nice to meet you all," I say bowing

They all look curious as they look at me

"You survived that worm-like thing single-handedly?" A girl asks speaking their mind

"We tried to ask lady here, but she gave us nothing useful," Another boy says as Code 234 puffs her cheek

"Dumb luck, he flung us like a paperweight, I wouldn't say I did it alone, Papa was watching over us," I say hoping to satisfy them

"Ha, we beat that thing while another squad plus plantation couldn't!" Zorome boasts

"Hush, they lost both their squad and their home," A girl says jabbing his side

"Ouch, Mika why'd you do that!" Zorome complains

"Because you're being a brat!" She responds

"I'm sorry for my squad's behaviour," A girl says

"I'm Ichigo," She says, surely smiling from excitement.

"Don't see that every day," Another boy says admiring the team leaders mood

"Goro, shut it," Ichigo says defending herself," I'm joyful all the time," she pouts

Goro starts chuckling as I sense something strange approaching me.

They get close....very close. Then I feel a lick

"What the?" I say before getting interrupted

"Zero two, you don't lick newcomers!" Hiro says grabbing her asse stares me down

"It's fine really," I say not knowing how to approach this

"He's different," She says tasting her tongue glaring at me

The others look at her expecting more of an answer. She thinks about it for a second

"Can you see?" She asks me as Code 234 comes in

"Of course he can see," She says clumsily

"I'm asking him not you," she says threateningly

"Yes I can see," I say lying as I smile sheepishly

"Hmm," she says walking near me again. I try my best to track her with my eyes so I don't look weird and give even more reason to her doubts

"He's blind," Hiro says realizing...I mess up. What did I? What did I mess up?

"Your head, you use your head to look around more then your eyes," Zero two says, "and that taste," she finishes touching her tongue

"Don't tell anyone!" Code 234 pleads

"Wait, no one else knows?" Hiro asks

"No," I answer

"So it's like, our secret," Zorome asks, he pauses for a bit, "that means you must do whatever we tell you," he says surely smirking...until he got another jab from Mika

"Don't worry," Goro says

"We won't tell anyone," Ichigo says

"Thank you," Code 234 says relieved

"If he can't see, how does he pilot the Franxx," another boy asks

"I can see through our link," I tell him, "I can see through the Franxx," I finish. He nods

"Anyway, we should head in," Goro says as they start walking to their place of residence.

It felt easily similar to our own house back on our Plantation. Hiro and Zero Two walked behind us

"What are you thinking about Darling?" Zero two asks. This girl, why do I get a weird vibe off her

"I know what your thinking," Code 234 says

"Yea?" I ask

"This Zero two, she isn't human....or at least fully. Whatever you're getting off her, it's true. I hear she is part Klaxosour, she has small horns to prove it," She says. I think for a bit until I almost run into something. Luckily Code 234 stopped me before I smashed my head again

"Where are we handed now?" I ask

"Nana asked us to wait in the lounge," Mika says as they head toward it

I don't know where it was. Our two houses may feel similar but they aren't the same.

My partner takes my hand to leads me in the right direction

"I got you," she says surely smiling

We entered into a comforting room and she leads me to the couch.

We waited in silence for a while until Nana entered the room. A bit strange, our Nana never visited the house

"Hello, children. I am here to inform what will happen to Code 028 and 234," she begins as the others watch on

"First, I'd like the announce that Plantation 13 has another Franxx in his hanger, Destila, piloted by code 028 and 234. Secondly, you all have new roommates," Nana says smiling. There is a small cheer among us...very small.

"That is all, socialize with your new parasites," She says walking away

"I knew that was gonna happen," Hiro says laying back

"So, what's up next?" Mika asks

Hiro is the first to speak," let's give them names," He says

The others agree as me and my partner are left smiling awkwardly

"Sure," We both say

Hiro looks at Code 234 for and then me

"Code 234, your name will be Luna," He says as he turns to me

"And yours will be (Y/N),"
