During the month there's a lunar cycle and the two best times in the cycle is the full moon, that one is obvious, then the new moon which for wolfbloods means we go back to our human roots. Back in the wild we would take the new moon cycle and sleep practically the whole day. So for me today James and Mary had to come find me to take me to school, otherwise I would have missed a day without a reason why.

When they first found me I vaguely recall James calling to Mary and them looping their arms through mine to help me up. They took me down to the water and tried to clean off all the dirt from the night before. Changed my clothes and convinced me to walk on my own to school so it didn't look like I was dead. That was just the first hurdle, the war would be making it through all the classes without falling asleep. That in itself was a challenge to the point out of my seven classes of the day I left four of them saying I was using the restroom but really went there to sleep. One of those four periods I listened to these two girls, both were a part of that group I confronted yesterday.

"That girl yesterday was all jank trying to hurt our star Bella. She had no right to go after Bella like that, all we did was talk to her. It was almost as if she was part animal."

The other girl gasped and said yeah when it was appropriate. "To me that almost looked like Sadey Eolas. Didn't you recognize her when she turned around?"

"I don't care who she is," the first girl scoffed. "All I know is she deserves what's coming to her and to her protectors James and Mary." After their chat turned from me to about cute boys in gym and new makeup they each put on a hefty layer of perfume and walked out. Trying to sleep with that smell and what I just heard was not at all possible.

I went to lunch and waited for James and Mary to meet with me. In the lunch line the lunch ladies give me wierd looks when I pile on more meat than fruits. I dig in and don't realize when James and Mary come in. I believe that for a while they sat there just starting on as if trying to remember a distant memory. They wait till I finish then they begin eating themselves, as I tell them about the girls in the bathroom. A lot of mmm's and mhmm's were exchanged throughout my recitation of events. At last when Mary finishes she says something to the effect of stay low and wait for them to accept you. James just agreed to everything Mary said then went outside to play football.

Once again I went home and instead of doing my homework I slept off the new moon. I may have to explain myself a little as to why my homework is late but for sleep I will love to trade.
