Chapter VIII

A few days later

It's been a few days since both Taehee and Jimin had talked to their parents, life had gone back to the peaceful nature it was before the chaos ensued, Twins are meeting friends and cousins, Taehyung has also met with Jimin, while Seokjin had met with Hoseok as he had his office just at the end of the same block as of Seokjin's restaurant, Namjoon who meets Sungi almost every 3 days a week has now noticed that, how often she came for a shareholder and partner to his father's office, realising how he never questioned the relationship, while Sungi also met with Taehee 2-3 times at the office as she was having her museum or gallery visits with Namjoon.

Today was the day when they all met to hang out, and spend the day getting to know each other and discussing the upcoming marriage afterwards.

"Appa! You have looked at yourself like a hundred times, come out and get going! Or else we'll tell your girlfriend you were so busy checking yourself out;" Taehyung yelled in his father's room's door, and slammed the door shut before running downstairs.

"Dad's behaving like he's going on a blind date for the first time in life," Taehee commented.

"And why are you dressed like you are going to a fan meet?" Namjoon asked, giving her a once over and rolling her eyes at the merch she was wearing.

"Oh C'mon Joon! Just a bracelet won't hurt, plus he'll never realise, It's not as if I am wearing a hoodie with his face on it!" she exclaimed, dropping herself down on the loveseat.

"Please, he's going to be your family member soon, don't make him uncomfortable with your odd obsession," Jin said as he entered carrying a gigantic basket.

"Okay okay, but what's with the enormous giant in your hand?" Taehee points at the basket with her eyes, "it's just food" he replies.

"But we have food in the car already! We are going on a picnic not to survival show hyung!" Taehyung exclaimed, waving his arms and hands in all directions, making them all laugh.

"Are you guys ready?" SeokMin asked as he came inside the living room.

"We have been ready since forever, it was you taking time to doll yourself up Appa, it's not your date, it's a family meeting/picnic." Taehee got up from her seat.

"How do I look?" He asked Taehee, "You'll impress your girlfriend or fiancé, as handsome as Zeus, can we get going mister?"

"Okay, let's go," he said, "I am already in the car, get in fast you lazy people!" Jin said from the backseat as soon as they were out of the door on the porch.

"Coming!" Namjoon sighed and slipped beside Jin, Twins in the back of the eight setter with SeokMin in the shotgun.

It took almost half an hour from Seongbuk-dong to reach Maembong Mountain Park.

Both the families met at the entrance, it was only 9:30 in the morning and very few people were around there. Sungi was already there, the Kim family and exchanged greetings, SeokMin and Sungi hugging each other, while SeokJin and Namjoon shook hands with the Park family Twins bowed and stood next to their brothers, afterwards they all gathered at the entrance wearing masks as they got in. Sungi and SeokMin looked at the kids smiling, as Sungi spoke.

"So we all go in pairs around the park. We will meet at the picnic spot, and will play after we have our brunch, at the tennis court opposite. You can pick your partners as you like"

"From the opposite fam?" Taehyung asked, to which SeokMin nodded and said a small yes.

"YOONGI" both the twins said at the same time, to which Yoongi looked startled, but smiled later while Hoseok and Sungi laughed as they had already caught on to the twins fanning the eldest Park boy.

"What did I say about not scaring your idol?" Jin looked at both of them with the mom stare.

"Aww, it's okay I'll take them both" Yoongi said smiling, "But what about pairing?" Namjoon asked.

"Yoongi, you sure you want them to eat your ears off man? They have been hyperactive since morning to meet you" Seokjin warned Yoongi, who just smiled in response, "I am happy they were so excited to meet me" he said while standing next to the Twins.

"Okay then, I'll take Jungkook with me," Namjoon said as he turned towards the shy 15 year old who was standing beside Hoseok, and looking nervous. "Oh..okay" he said in a small voice .

"So, I am going with Jimin and Hoseok?" SeokJin asked as he looked at them both, " I can go with Eomma and SeokMin-nim Ahjussi"

"It's okay, Let's not third wheel them, let's go Jimin-shi" SeokJin said as they moved, to which They both just shook their heads, and looked at the rest.

"Bye, and see you alive, don't try kidnapping Yoongi" SeokMin said as they turned around and walked away.

"He is totally whipped!" Taehyung said loud enough for his dad to hear, as the rest laughed and their parents quickened their pace to not hear the comments.

"Okay bye, Jungkook,if this old guy tries to scare you can come to us, Byeee" Taehee said, "oh and he gets lost, and break things, please look after our Hyung" Taehyung added as they both walked away with Yoongi laughing at Jungkook's tomato red face.

"Shall we go Jungkook?" Namjoon asked, Jungkook nodded a little and they started to walk.

Everyone had a map of the place and we're going in different directions to reach the same point in the park.

Jungkook was shuffling beside Namjoon awkwardly, "so...Jungkook-shi, what grade are you in?"

"11th High School, Sunbaenim" Jungkook said in a small voice, as they moved past the rows of trees.

"Don't be so formal, you can call me Hyung" He lightly patted Jungkook on the back, who nodded while almost falling.

On the other hand, Yoongi was already regretting the company of Twins, both were hyperactive, the conversation could be broadcasted as an interview.

"So Yoongi oppa, what do you usually like to eat for breakfast?" Taehee asked as they were walking down the path having a hot drink in her hand, "Nothing special, Usually Korean breakfast" Yoongi replied as he saw both of them continuously chirping, by now they knew or had confirmed their information about Yoongi regards all his preferences as if he is the one getting married, and Yoongi got to know that Twins has been a few of his fans that has been filling his bank account by purchasing all the latest and limited edition merch he ever released, that too twice.

Seokjin, Hoseok and Jimin would be the group that was having the most fun, with Jin being super loud and Hoseok being super energetic and Jimin listening on to the world wide handsome recipes and specialities, both have already gotten an invitation for a private tasting session at Seokjin's restaurant.

The couple on the other hand were having their own time, but the nervousness was definitely in the air, the worry if the kids will enjoy the company of each other, and if they will have shortcomings.
