CO2 + H2O ——> C6H12O6 + O2

photosynthesis right anyway that's not my epiphany

My bio lab professor is speedy and has to zoom when she introduces us to the lab even though we have over 2 hours and 45 minutes to do whatever we want

But apparently she had only three powerpoint slides to talk about photosynthesis and she sped by those in like ten minutes and I had absolutely no time to copy all I needed to copy down just that photosynthesis is in the chloroplasts and don't forget that plants have mitochondria too

which i already knew pshh...

My epiphany is that I figured out how to balance the photosynthesis equation without getting the notes. the last time i balanced an equation was in my tenth grade chemistry class and man what a flashback i had. traumatic experience. i dont like chemistry.

anyway, i felt pretty smart that i figured that out without relying on the notes im pretty proud of myself if do say so myself

here's the balanced equation for photosynthesis for you nerds

6CO2 + 6H2O ----> C6H12O6 + 6O2
