Enahel, daughter of the hero Finrod and descendant of the House of Finarfin, was born during a time of war. She saw the horrors of the world before she saw the rest. Perhaps, if her father had lived, it would have been easier for her to rest in its aftermath.

But Finrod Felagund does not live—instead, all that is left of him is her and the memory of Sauron, the great faceless evil her aunt has been hunting ever since he ended her father's life.

Or perhaps, some part of her simply knew what she is yet to learn: evil is never truly gone. It simply sleeps. And Enahel waits, in the watchtower of Tirharad, far away from home and the scarce remains of her family, she grows weary. Of life, and of the world.

But evil always returns.

It begins the day the High-King decalres the war to truly be over.

      In case you were wondering how we got here...... I present you this:

The curls? The armor? The dirt and blood? Not ashamed to admit this was my main reason for starting both watching TROP and this fic 🫣 this may or may not end up being an Elrond fic.

(Okay, it absolutely will.)

As a head's up: while I have some prior experience with Tolkien and Middle-Earth, I am in no way shape or form an expert on events or lore! Thus, there will be deviations from canon, and I will mainly base the facts of this fanfic universe on the tv show Rings of Power, as this is where it's set in.
