"Master~ Please wake up~" I heard a voice say. I open my eyes and looked around. I was in a black void." Where am I?" I asked out loud." Wherever you wish to be. Wherever brings you happiness." The voice said again. It was smooth, gentle, and kind. I thought about my childhood and my old house with out Cherry Blossom Tree. I smiled when the black void became what I wanted." Wait....Who are you?" I asked, looking around. I heard a giggle in front of me. I turned around and jumped backward when I saw a woman, a beautiful one in fact, floating in front of me with a smile. She looked like a jellyfish with her clothes." I am Kurage. Your Zanpakuto." She says." Why are you here? Ah, n-no offense!" I said. She giggled." I knew what you meant. I am here to teach you Shikai." I smiled." Really?" She nodded." Of course. You'll need it since Lieutenant Abarai has achieved Bankai." My smile dropped." So...that means...." She nods." That means you'll be Byakuya's next Lieutenant." She said. I sighed and smiled." Alright. Let's do this."

Byakuya's p.o.v.
I looked around, trying to find Hana. Where is she? She's never late." Renji. Have you seen Hana?" I asked. He looked at me before thinking." No. I don't think I have. I thought she was with you." Hmmm. So he doesn't know either." I'll be back in a bit." I told him." Doing what?!" He asked.

I looked around the room I was in. I found Hana's room and so far found nothing." Hmmm." I hummed to myself." Where could she be....?" I thought aloud." Master." I looked next to me and saw Senbonzakura." What is it?" I asked." I sense her spiritual pressure. It's faint but I can still feel it." He said." I don't feel her spiritual pressure." I said." That's because she's in the spirit world." He says." Reapers can go to the spirit world? How?" I asked." If the Zanpakuto appears in your mind, he or she can allow you to go into the spirit world. Only spiritually though." He explains." So that's why I don't feel her presence." He nods." How do we get her back?" I asked." Is master worried?" He asked." No. I just need my third seat to help me is all." I say. He nods." Stay here. I'll be right back." He says before disappearing. I decided to look around. I checked the rooms before finding Hana's body. She looked pale. I walked over to her and set her in my lap. Hana, you idiot. What could you possibly be doing that's so important that you had to go to the Spirit World?

Hana's p.o.v.
"Lady Hana!" I turned around and blushed at the man who seemed to be wearing a mask and had a long ponytail." Y-yes?" I asked. He bowed." I am Senbonzakura. My master sent me to come get you. He says you are late, which surprised him." I blushed." Oh no! I was suppose to help him do research! Thank you Senbonzakura. Kurage! Can you send me back?" She nods with a closed eye smile." Of course." She snapped her fingers and I was back in my body. I think. I opened my eyes and saw Byakuya, staring at me with his and my Zanpakuto next to him." Sorry Captain. Kurage was teaching me how to unlock and control my Shikai." I said as he helped me up. Kurage nodded." That's right. I thought that since Lieutenant Abarai learned his Bankai, Lady Hana must learn her Shikai form." Byakuya nodded." Come Hana. We have work to do." He says, walking toward the door." Yes Captain."

"Hana." I turned around and saw my grandfather behind me." Hello grandfather." I said hugging him with a smile. He chuckled, hugging me with one arm." How's the research going?" He asked. My smile dropped into a frown." Not so great, grandfather. There's very little information on Gin or Aizen." I said. I sighed. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked back at my grandfather." Don't he so hard on yourself. You're a smart girl. I'm sure you can find something." He says before walking off. I thought for a moment." Something huh..." I smirked and snapped my fingers before running out to Gin and Aizen's old rooms.

I looked around, trying to find something interesting. So far I've found nothing. I sighed in frustration." Come on Hana think!" I muttered to myself. I noticed the closet near the corner. I slowly walked up to it and opened the door. What I saw made me scream.

Byakuya's p.o.v.
I stopped when I heard someone scream. Hana. I rushed over to where she was with Renji and Rukia at my sides. We found where the scream was and rushed in. There Hana was, curled up against the wall with a hand over her mouth and her eyes wide. I followed her stare. There in front of her was a pile of dead bodies that were one of ours. Hana had tears rolling down her face." What happened?!" Head Master asked and came rushing in." Hana." He says. She doesn't say anything. Her eyes wide and tears rolling down her face. She slowly takes her hand away." J'ai vu une vision ... quand j'ai touché l'un d'entre eux." She says to him in French." Qu'as-tu vu?" He asked." Décès." She says." Causé par moi...." She says again." J'ai peur que je devienne un monstre." She says before closing her eyes and covering her mouth." The smell of death....it's making me sick." She said in English. Head Master helps her up." Byakuya, take her to your barracks. The rest of you, clean this mess up....as quickly as you can." He says. I gentle grab onto one of Hana's arms and lead her away." Are you Alright?" She shakes her head." Those bodies....were poisoned. There was....very l-little blood. They m-must've d-died in their own blood." She says." O-one of them w-was my childhood f-friend...." She trails off. I look at her." Hana?" I asked. She suddenly starts coughing, violently." Hana!" I say. She coughs up blood and leans against my chest.' Not again....don't let this end like Hisana....' She coughed and coughed and grabbed onto my kimono." Hana!" Head Master yelled behind me. She slowly started to close her eyes." Hana! Hana!"

"Apparently, she was right. The bodies had poison injected into them and must've stayed with them due to the rotting dead flesh and the sealed closet."Unohana said." She'll be okay right?" Head Master asked. Unohana nodded." Of course. While the bodies may have died from the inside out, Hana got a whiff of it. She'll be fine. But it goes to show that even a whiff of it can make any person feel sick." Unohana explained." It's best if she takes a few days of rest and NOT go on any missions." She looked at me when she said 'not.' I nodded." Good. Now you may be able to see her." She says, drawing the curtain back. Head Master rushed to her side while I stayed back." Toi idiot." He said." This is my fault....."
