WARNING: Contains mention of noose and other trigger mentions in here. Read at your own risk.
"Why... why... why...? Damn it... I can't kill myself... I'm too much of a coward... I want death... so why is it so hard to kill myself?!"
Your parents didn't abuse you, nor even yelled at you. In fact, you were a spoiled little rich kid who went to the high school for the middle and lower class teenagers. Why were you unhappy?
Because everyone wanted you just for your money. All you want was love, but you could never seem to get it. Your parents didn't have the time for each other or you because of their jobs, so you were stuck being alone in that mansion of yours.
You screamed and threw a pillow at the wall, knocking down a picture from your childhood. You burst into tears and fell to the ground, hurting inside and wanting the pain of loneliness to end.
"I just want to die... is that so hard to ask for...?"
You looked up and saw the tiny snowflakes you put up into the wall and watched them dance and twirl. That's when you got the idea... but you couldn't die in this house because the butlers and maids would hear the ruckus. So, it had to be the school...
The next morning you got dressed and acted normal around the butlers until you got into the car. You were driven to school and once you hopped out everyone was looking at your sweet ride. Boy looked and checked you out, but you knew it was because of your money...
"Hey!" One of then called from the field. "Wanna hang out with us?! We'll play nice!"
At those words, you walked faster until you came inside, knowing what was in your backpack. The school was too crowded during the day... so afterschool would have to wait.
When you turned around you accidentally bumped into someone huge and gasped, "What's the big idea?!"
"Sorry," said the voice, who was deep. "I didn't see you there."
You looked up to see Chad, one of the groups with the odd people inside it. From afar he looked normal sized, but up close he was a giant.
"Well... just watch where you're going!"
You turned around and headed towards your classroom. Chad called out too you, but your ignored him. For you had darker thing on your mind that day...
Surprisingly, lunch wasn't as busy as usual, plus you didn't have friends so no one would notice if you would have gone missing over time. The noose in your backpack was heavy, but at the time making it was lighter.
You grabbed a chair and started tying the noose up. You were in an old classroom that hasn't been used in a long time, so no one would find you here. It took a while, but you got the noose ready.
"I'm so sorry... mother... father... I can't live like this anymore... you both don't see each other anymore... even though you're both still married... it hurts me... but I must leave..."
You climbed onto the chair with a sob at the back of your throat. Before you could tie the noose around your neck, the door of the room came open. You screamed and fell backwards, but someone caught you in time.
Though it was dim, you could see it was Chad even with his shaggy hair. "What the hell are you doing?!" He shouted furiously.
Your mind wasn't getting to why Chad was here. "What... how did you... find me?"
Chad pulled you up and had you sit down on the chair, "A part of the noose in your backpack was shown and I saw it. I was trying to ask you why you had a noose, but now I know why."
You growled and looked away from him. "So, the rich girl tried to kill herself. And what? I don't have any friends and when I try to make one I can sense them trying to figure out how much money I have."
"Well I didn't try to sense any money from you." Chad leaned over, the light from outside casted an ominous glow over the noose. "I am sorry I bumped into you this morning. You're just small like everyone else and it's hard to see sometimes."
"Aren't you just going to go?" You questioned him. "I have things to do."
Chad shook his head and stood up. "You're joining my friends and me for lunch. I swear they are not out for your money. If you have a great time, you can't kill yourself. You got that?"
You started at the noose at the corner of your eye. "And what if I don't enjoy my time with your friends and it turns out to be a lie?"
"Then I won't stop you for what's to come. It's your decision." He pulled the door open and motion you. "Lunch isn't over yet."
Despite only you having just met him, you went outside to join his friends. The noose was always at the corner of your mind, but Chad was always first.
