Tatsuki: (Walks in) "Hey."

Kaizoku: Hello.

Greeting Tatsuki.

Kaizoku: Okay, Tatsuki. It's time to start the disclaimer.

Tatsuki: "You got the script for me?"

Kaizoku: Here. (Gives her the script)

Tatsuki: (Takes it) "Thank you. Let's see here... Light/Xara and Kaizoku don't own Bleach, Death Battle or any other franchise. They only are doing the reactions of the show we're watching. Is that good?"

Kaizoku: Uh-huh.

Okay then, well then, onto the chapter.

Chapter 7: First Battle Royal: TMNT Battle Royal

Ichigo hit play to start the sixth episode of Death Battle.

"Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael," Wiz listed off the names of the combatants. "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were grown from ooze and raised by a warrior rat in the sewers of New York to be the world's most fearsome fighting team."

"Lots of superheroes have some weird origin stories, but this one is plain ridiculous," Boomstick stated.

"Is it that weird?" Yuzu asked the others.

"Their greatest advantage in battle is their family bond and teamwork. But on their own, which turtle is deadliest?" Wiz asked.

"So they're family but they're gonna be fighting each other?" Orihime said with concern.

Ichigo looked a bit distraught. "Why do I have the sneaking feeling I'm not going to enjoy this fight...?"

"Because you're a big brother and you hate family fights, more with their siblings," Isshan, Karin and Rukia said all at the same time. The three then looked to one another.

"... Well that was spooky..." Keigo stated.

"He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick," Boomstick introduced.

"And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle," Wiz announced.

Just then the doors closed and then reopened to show the first fighter, Leonardo.

Ichigo saw the first combatant and felt a strange kinship with the blue bandana wearing ninja turtle. "I like this guy already for some reason," he stated.

"Oh, a leader, huh?" Rukia hummed before looking at Ichigo. 'Kinda like...'

"Too bad he traded his sense of humor for that sense of honor," Boomstick added. "This guy always means serious business."

"Huh, does sound like you~" Karin teased her brother.

"Yep, to a tee," Tatsuki agreed.

"Hey!" Ichigo shouted, making everyone laugh.

Yuzu seemed to be draw to Leo's duel wielding, but she couldn't explain why though.

"In many timelines, Leonardo's the one who ultimately defeats The Shredder, though always with plenty of help," Wiz explained.

The group see Leo taking down a man in a suit of armor, seemingly decapitating him.

"Geez..." Keigo said, wincing. "Brutal."

"Sounds a lot like you Ichigo," Chizuru stated.

"Yep, to a tee," Mizuiro agreed.

Ichigo just grumbled at this.

"At one point, he even fought and killed a sort of physical embodiment of the Devil," Wiz added, shocking everyone.

"Giving Keanu Reeves a much-needed break!" Boomstick added.

"That's nice." Orihime smiled.

"... You're just going to ignore the fact he beat the devil...?" Tatsuki asked.

"And isn't Keanu Reeves an actor form America?" Uryu asked.

"I'm just going to just amazed he's that cool," Keigo stated.

"Same," Isshin agreed.

"However, Leonardo finds it difficult to accept failure," Wiz added. "Should things go horribly wrong, his concentration can quickly slip away from him, leaving him sloppy and imprecise."

"Leo doesn't like to lose," Boomstick stated.

Everyone turned to Ichigo. "... I get it." Ichigo grumbled, knowing the others are staring at him.

Just then Leonardo, the 1987 cartoon version, appeared and ordered his brothers, "Quit clowning you guys! This is serious!"

The doors then closed and reopened showing the second combatant, Donatello

"Donatello is the brains of the bunch," Wiz introduces.

"He does machines!" Boomstick shouted.

"So, he's a tech genius," Uryu stated, looking interested in this turtle, wondering what he could do.

"Right, Boomstick. Somehow, he learned to operate and manipulate both Human and Alien technology without any formal training education or budget whatsoever." Wiz explained.

"Wow." Ichigo let out.

"Okay, that's impressive," Karin stated.

"Agreed," Chad stated, nodding.

"He also speaks 100% fluent Techno-babble," Wiz added.

They then see Donatello, 2003 version, typing at a computer, trying to do something. "The resulting intermit multi-polar flux should create the Electromagnetic Pulse!"

"Uh... What?" Keigo and Chizuru asked, looking lost.

"He's trying to make an E.M.P.," Ichigo, Uryu and Tatsuki stated.

"What the hell did I just hear? All that gibberish means he's probably trained less than the others, devoting more of his time to Science!" Boomstick exclaimed.

"Ooh..." Orihime marveled. She then whispers to Rukia, Uryu, and Ichigo. "You think maybe I could make something like that with Shun Shun Rikka? Just out of spirit energy?"

They thought about it and whispered back. "Maybe, and maybe other weapons as well, like a sword that sends attacks back."

She thought about it, and she'd train to see if she could.

"The range is nice, but it takes a lot of time and patience to kill anybody with a stick," Boomstick stated.

"Not really," Tatsuki stated, getting everyone's attention. "A good swift hit to the neck, heart, or head and you'd kill them."

"... How do you know that?" Isshin asked, a little worried.

"What? I'm a Dojo Assistant Instructor, I need to know these things in case of a person trying to use unlawful moves," Tatsuki stated.

"O-Okay..." Isshin replied, backing away a little bit.

"This guy, Shredder... He must be serious trouble if listing killing him as one of Don's feats is any indication..." Ichigo pointed out.

"Maybe we'll see him in this show later on," Yuzu thought out loud.

"Wouldn't be surprised," Karin stated.

"An ass-kicking nerd?" Boomstick asked, in shock. "I don't believe it."

"And what the hell does he mean by that...?" Keigo asked.

"I thought that was Uryu's line." Ichigo mused, smiling.

"What the hell do you mean by that!?" Uryu shouted, making the others laugh.

They then see Donatello, 2003 cartoon version, again, still working and stated, "Eh, I'm making this up as I go."

The doors then closed and reopened showing the third combatant, Michelangelo

"Michelangelo is the youngest of the turtles," Wiz explained. "He's lazy, undisciplined and easily distracted. He spends his free time playing video games, watching TV, reading comic books, and eating pizza."

"He sounds like he's the life of the party," Chizuru stated.

"Yeah, he sounds cool~" Keigo stated.

"He sounds like you two goofballs," Ichigo stated.

"That turtle is fucked up!" Boomstick suddenly brought up.

"What?" Wiz huffed in confusion.

"Yeah, seriously, what?" Karin asked.

"Come on, you can't tell me that turtle is not on drugs." Boomstick said.

"He looks fine to me." Tatsuki shrugged, not knowing why Boomstick is acting like this.

"I don't know, I always thought he was dropped as a kid," Wiz said, sound like he was shrugging.

"... I feel like they are just picking on him..." Karin stated flatly.

"Okay, look! He has all the signs! Strange eating habits, inability to pay attention, incoherent phrases..." Boomstick listed.

"Dude, that's not nice..." Keigo stated, feeling a bit irked at their description of Michelangelo.

"Yeah, just 'cause he's a party dude, doesn't mean he's doing things..." Chizuru growled.

"Moving on, his weapon of choice..." Wiz trailed off.

"They aren't?" Orihime questioned, looking to her best friend.

"Nope." Tatsuki shook her head then pointed to the TV for Wiz to explain further.

"It's a farming tool for threshing grain. These "Weapons" are unnecessarily overcomplicated clubs with the effectiveness of a tattered flyswatter. Yet SOMEHOW, Michelangelo has been able to blunder his way through fights to victories he really doesn't deserve!" Wiz complained.

"Okay, wow. They're seriously yanking Mike's chain..." Keigo lampshade.

"I think their letting their bias show..." Chizuru stated dryly. "Sure, he's a party person, but that doesn't mean he isn't a good fighter."

"True, heck, I think he actually does it to let his opponents guard down or make them angry enough to make their moves more predictable," Keigo added.

"Yeah, play the fool to look weak," Chizuru added.

Everyone then looked to the two in a bit of shock. The two saw this and asked, "What?"

"What's with you two agreeing on something? You trying to tell us something?" Ichigo asked with a grin.

The two looked confused. "What do you mean?"

Tatsuki was about to say something then remembered something about what Chizuru was then quietly told the others to keep it to themselves.

Boomstick then added, "He even beat Raph once."

"See," Keigo pointed. "He can be a good fighter."

"Sure, I get it, swing chucks around gives him momentum to hit with them, blah, blah, blah, but in the end, a baseball bat will give you the same effect and more with much less effort. Seriously, who came up with these things? They're preposterous!" Wiz griped.

"They're REALLY tearing into Mike, huh...?" Ichigo brought up.

"You're prepostemous! I don't know." Boomstick stated.

"Wow did he butcher that word..." Karin groans.

"And, for some reason, in all his infinite wisdom, the great master Splinter gave the most complicated weapon to the retard of the group. WHY?" Wiz asked, more than aggravated by this.

The group then glared at the smart one of the two. Mike may be a liability, but he wasn't that bad, Wiz is really getting to their nerves this episode.

"Mikey's not gonna win this fight, is he?" Boomstick brought up.

"He better not." Wiz grunted.

"Ho ho, someone's cranky!" Michelangelo pointed out, almost by complete accident, making the group chuckle a bit.

"Okay... I'll admit, Wiz was sound very dismissive of Mike," Ichigo stated. "But that was good timing on the shows part at the end." Most of them nodded at that.

The doors then closed and reopened showing the forth and final combatant, Raphael

"Raph is cool but crude!" Boomstick introduced. "Hell, forget crude, this guy's borderline psycho!"

"... I don't like the sound of that..." Orihime stated, not liking where this is going.

"How bad can he be?" Karin asked.

"Sure to throw the first punch, Raphael is certainly the most vicious of the team. He's constantly butting heads with the others and challenging Leonardo's leadership." Wiz told.

"That's definitely the type who rebels and follows their own rules." Rukia frowned.

Karin let out an impressed whistle. "That's kinda cool."

"Wait, have we heard the name Wolverine before?" Keigo asked, think he heard that name before.

"Wasn't it when we watched that Rogue Vs. Wonder Woman fight?" Orihime guessed.

"I think it was," Karin stated.

"Like the Nunchuk, they also humbly began as a farming tool but were re-evaluated to counter the oppressive samurai," Wiz explained.

"Wait, it's another farming tool?" Chizuru asked in surprise.

"Indeed. And like Wizard said, it was used against the oppressive samurai." Uryu answered, adjusting his glasses.

"... Are a lot of weapons used to be tools or something...?" Chad asked.

"I think scythes were as well," Ichigo stated.

"They're best used as a close-range defensive weapon," Boomstick explained. "The triple prongs are designed to block, trap, and control an opponent's weapon while using the pommel to beat the enemy into submission. Raph's Sai can even snap swords!"

"That's quite versatile..." Rukia noted. 'I wonder if there are Soul Reapers who use the Sai weapons for their Shikai?'

"Raphael is not exactly the smartest fighter," Wiz explained, "usually rushing into a brawl without a plan and just overpowering a foe. Because of this, Raphael spends much of his time honing his combat skills. It is very likely he is physically the strongest turtle."

"The physically strongest? Psh, I bet Chad would beat him in an arm-wrestling contest!" Keigo scoffed.

"We'll never know," Ichigo stated, not wanting to know about the dimensional portal devise.

"Also, this guy's in some serious need of anger management!" Boomstick stated.

"I don't like the sound of that..." Karin stated.

"He is naturally hot-headed and sometimes loses control of his rage. He is much more vicious than the other turtles and, at one point in the comics, even became the Shredder himself." Wiz declared.

All the watchers winced. "Okay, so I'm guessing he became the villain," Tatsuki stated.

"That's what I hear." Ichigo nodded.

Just then Raphael, the 90s movie version, appeared and shouted, "Damn!"

Just then the doors closed and opened again.

"Alright the combatants are set!" Wiz stated. "Let's end this debate once and for all!"

"Wait up Wiz!" Boomstick shouted. "I gotta rent the latest Ninja Turtle game first!"

"We have it..." Wiz pointed out. "We just did all this research with it-"

"Gamefly!" Boomstick shouted, interrupting Wiz.

"Well that was a weird way for them to cut to commercial..." Tatsuki stated.

"Yeah..." Ichigo nodded.

"So what now while we wait?" Rukia asked.

"We usually choose who we think is going to win," Karin answered.

"We vote Michelangelo!" Keigo and Chizuru shouted.

"... You sure? Something tells me he's not gonna last so long..." Ichigo pointed out.

"What?" Keigo asked. "Never seen the underdog win?"

"He still has a chance," Chizuru stated.

"Don't say I didn't warn ya..." Ichigo warned.

"And you think your counterpart, Leo, will win?" Keigo asked.

"I do." Ichigo answered bluntly.

"And who has any other votes?" Chizuru asked the others.

"I'm thinking Raphael's gonna win this one." Tatsuki said.

"... You're going with the hothead who became a villain in one word..." she stated bluntly at her friend.

"I mean, he could have been a hero again, right? Right!?" Tatsuki asked.

"Anyway," Karin started, interrupting them. "Let's get the rest, Midori, your vote."

"I'm think Donatello," she answered.

"I'm going with Donatello too." Orihime declared.

"I'm joining the Micky team," Isshin stated.

"And you, Rukia?" Ichigo asked.

Rukia thought about it. "Not sure, ether Leonardo or Raphael..."

"Ishida? Chad?" Ichigo asked Uryu and Chad.

"Raphael," Uryu stated.

"I'm going with... Donatello," Chad answered.

"And Mizuiro?" Ichigo called.

He thought about it for a minute. "I'd say... Leo. He seems like the best chose."

"Alright. We've locked in our choices. Let's see who comes out on top." Karin asked of everyone.

"But right now, it's time for a DEATH BATTLE!" Boomstick exclaimed.

"Here we go," Ichigo stated.

Just then the doors closed and opened again.

The doors had opened to New York at night. The camera then lowers down to a sewer grate, and then into the sewer's themselves. This is where the watchers see the four turtles face each other and they draw their weapons to start the fight.

FIGHT!

When the fight started, Leonardo started the fight, making Raphael block, then went after Michelangelo.

"Huh," Ichigo started, getting the other's attenytion. "The was smart of Leo, he forced Raphael to block, so he could focus on Michelangelo."

"Wait, he did?" Keigo asked, confused.

"I didn't see it," Chizuru stated.

"It was a quick action. People would miss it if they weren't paying attention." He explained.

"He's right," Mizuiro agreed. "I was barely able to see it."

The others who saw it nodded in agreement.

Both Leonardo and Michelangelo were trade blow for blow, each trying to get the upper hand. Meanwhile, Donatello and Raphael were facing each other, Raphael got a few licks in, but Donatello forced Raphael go on the defensive thanks to Bo staff's long range.

Leo backs away as Mike counterattacks and hits him a few times, until Leo fought back and leapt to the other side, Mike went for a quick strike, but Leonardo slashed his arm off.

The group winced at seeing something graphic.

Leonardo followed this by taking Michelangelo's head, decapitating him, making him the first of the turtles to lose.

Both Keigo and Chizuru winced and held their throats. They were hoping he'd win, hoping for the underdog, but didn't think it would be this brutal of a kill if he didn't.

"T-That was horrifying..." Yuzu stated, looking pale.

Ichigo was looking sick. "And I feel it's going to get worse..."

Meanwhile with Don and Raph, they continued fighting and matched blow for blow, until Don eventually overpowered Raph and hit him repeatedly before tossing him past Leo and he charged in and attacked, but Don managed to block and dodge the strikes and climbed on top of a pile of boxes and constantly strike Leo multiple times as his swords were stuck.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Mizuiro said.

"My head's hearing from just watching that happen to Leo," Keigo stated, holding his head.

Raph got back up, pissed beyond all things, and rammed into the crates Leonardo and Donatello were fighting on. Leo was able to move out of the way, but Don was sent flying back. Donatello landed on the ground, on his back, while Raphael was standing over him. In his rage, Raph proceeds to stab Don with his Sai's 24 times, all over his body.

Everyone was in shock and fear, after the brutal death. Leo's kill was quick and painless to Mike, but Raph went overkill on Don.

"H-He just brutally killed him..." Orihime whimpered.

"Leo's kill was brutal, but it was quick..." Tatsuki stated, looking green, "but that... that was just..."

Ichigo was looking pissed. "H-He did that to his own brother..." he stated, clenching his teeth. "How could he be that... that heartless... Leo was hard... but he didn't... he didn't let it last...!"

"Ichigo... I don't know if this will comfort you, but I'm sure that the actual Raphael... is not like that." Rukia assured Ichigo, a hand on his shoulder.

Ichigo took a deep breath to calm himself. "... Let's just get this over with..."

Raph stood up after he was finished, and then faces Leo. They both looked at one another for a second, then they leapt at each other, the final fight starting. They both used their skills to try and one up each other and were countering each other. Raph got in a good hit and knocks Leo into the water. As Leo resurfaces from the water, Raph jumps into the water to finish the fight.

Leo and Raph kept fighting to a stalemate, but then Raph catches Leo's swords with his sais. The music increases in intensity as Ichigo and his friends and family leaned in to see what would happen next.

Just then, Raph's sais snap Leo's swords before the two quickly stabbed each other. Leo wasn't seriously injured as the sai stabbed him in the chest, Raph however was unlucky as he was stabbed in the throat.

"DAAAMN!!!" Raph roared in a bloodcurdling tone as his body sinked into the water turning it red, and Leo sits down in the water with an expression that doesn't look like victory, but with horrible regret.

K.O.!

All the watchers bowed their head to Leo and his loss of his family. Even the ones who voyed for Leo to win, didn't feel happy all that much.

"Woah-ho-ho, somebody call an ambulance!" Boomstick exclaimed. "Or a vet, I don't know."

Ichigo was having tick marks appear over Boomstick's disrespect over this. "I seriously want to kill Boomstick..." he greeted out in anger, grinding his teeth.

Orihime and Rukia both patted him on the back to calm him down.

"Okay, I might make a joke here and there, but that was uncalled for and poor timing," Isshin stared, getting agreeing nods from Keigo and Chizuru.

"There is a reason why Leonardo is the leader of the team," Wiz stated to explain. "Not for strength or speed, but for strategy. Leonardo understands the strengths and weaknesses of the other turtles. His biggest threat was Raphael's sword snapping Sai, so he attacked the weakest of the group first."

"Leonardo does know each turtle's weakness, so it stands to reason why he would target Michelangelo first." Rukia nodded.

"This means Leo let Donny beat the hell outta Raph, who couldn't compete with Don's range. By the time Raph got his revenge, Leo was in way better shape for the final duel." Boomstick continued.

"Ah, so he let Raph get injured so he can be fresh to fight him when they had to fight," Mizuiro stated, getting where Leo was coming from.

"And I can hear all the fanboys raging "But Raph won in the movie! He should win here! Nyah nyah!"" Wiz remarked, sounding like those annoying fans. "No! Four reasons. One: The result of the fight was specifically plot constructive, which is rarely accurate. Two: Leonardo absolutely decimated Raph in the fistfight beforehand. Three: Leonardo didn't want to fight at all. If he did, he would've killed Raphael right here."

The group saw what they were saying, seeing Raph was at a disadvantage.

Boomstick added to what Wiz was saying, "Tilt the blade, slide left, bam: No more Raph."

"Yep..." Rukia agreed, being a swordswoman herself. She didn't like agreeing with Boomstick though.

"How would you know that...?" Isshan asked.

"I trained in swordfight/kendo in my last school," Rukia answered.

"And four: That whole movie doesn't make much sense, to begin with. Why should this?" Wiz asked rhetorically.

"Oh, I hate movies like that..." Karin groans. Midori agreed with her.

Rukia was thinking about watching the movie anyway.

"But hey, Leo can still die from that stab, right?" Boomstick asked.

"Hey, that's a good question," Keigo stated, get facepalmes from the more stoic and smarter of his classmates. "What?" he asked, looking confused.

"Doubtful, for several reasons.," Wiz stated, staring to explain why this is. "Turtles proportionally have smaller vital organs and far more muscle mass than humans, meaning there's little chance Raphael actually hit anything important. Leo's actually been stabbed plenty of times in the series and walked away, and all four turtles have been trained in Chi Kung and can control their breathing and heart rate to survive extreme conditions."

Keigo blinked a few times. "Huh... Didn't know that..."

"Looks like Leo got the point of this battle." Boomstick punned, which no one graced with a reaction.

"The winner is Leonardo." Wiz declared.

"I hope the next match will be better..." Ichigo groaned.

"Next time on Death Battle." Boomstick announced. Just then Leo appears and there was an anthrophonic toad man. "Leo may tease victory now, but the fight is just beginning."

"... So Leo's doing another match..." Yuzu stated.

"At least it's not someone important to him..." Rukia stated.

Ichigo just facedpalmed.

Finally, done with this chapter...
