Welcome everyone to the sixth chapter of Bleach Characters' React to Death Battle. With me again is my partner, cowriter and friend, Kaizokuoniiorewanaru.

Kaizoku: Yep.

So... Who do we have as our guest today?

Kaizoku: Don't know. Ichigo, Isshin, Yuzu, and Karin were already guests.

I was thinking of just bringing one of them back again.

Kaizoku: Why though? You literally never did that before.

Because I've never had to do it until now...

Kaizoku: Oh. That's fair. All right. Who is it?

Karin, you can come in.

Karin: (Walks in) "Why did you have to bring me in...?"

Kaizoku: Because.

Karin: "... That's all I'm gonna get, isn't it...?"

Pretty much.

Kaizoku: Now then. Let's start the disclaimer, shall we?

Karin: "... Fine... These two don't own Bleach or Death Batlle. This is just done for fun."

Kaizoku: Right. With that done... Let's begin.

Chapter 6: Intermission 1: Inviting Friends Over

It was morning of the next day after the Kurosakis watch the show that was given to them. Ichigo had walked down from his room, to see that everything was normal.

"Morning Ichigo~" Yuzu greeted, cooking breakfast. Ichigo sat at the table. "Oh, I looked through the box we were given, and found something."

"Really? What is it?" Ichigo asked.

"It has portable players with the show we watched already unlocked," Yuzu stated. "Just the first five though."

"... This is getting ridicules," Karin stated, groaning.

"Portable players, huh?" Ichigo hummed.

Yuzu pointed to the table and they were there.

"Oh. Thanks." Ichigo said as he takes one of them.

"Going to show your friends?" Karin asked while she was eating.

"I probably should." Ichigo answered. "They might like it."

Karin took a bite of her food, while also thinking and said, "I guess Yuzu and I will do the same."

"Okay." Ichigo nods.

Yuzu brought Ichigo breakfast.

"Thanks, Yuzu." Ichigo thanked as he sat down and began eating his breakfast.

She smiles and said, "You're welcome Ichigo."

Once he was done eating breakfast, he leaves the Kurosaki residence to go to school.

"See you later Ichigo~" Yuzu called out.

"Yeah, see ya," Karin waved back, walking to her school with Yuzu.

"Same to you two." Ichigo waved as he leaves.

(Karakura High School)

Ichigo made it to school and was in class, he took his seat in class. As he was listening to the teacher... 'I still wonder where that box came from? Why us...?' Ichigo asked in his head.

A long-haired young lady named Orihime notices Ichigo being distracted by something. She looks to a tomboy girl, named Tatsumaki, who see that she noticed as well. Orihime nods to her.

(Right Before Lunch)

Ichigo was getting ready to talk to his friends when Orihime and Tatsuki walk up to him. "Ah, hey, I was just going to talk to you both."

"Oh, you were?" Tatsuki asked.

"Yeah, but did you need to talk to me about something?" he asked.

"Yeah. You looked a bit... distant. Like... the wistful kind of distant." Orihime answered.

"That's what I wanted to talk about with everyone," Ichigo stated. "Can you get all our friends, and meet on the roof?"

Orihime looks at Tatsuki.

Tatsuki shrugs. "I guess it's okay. Just tell us what's going on when you do, okay?"

"Yeah. Of course." Ichigo nodded.

(School Roof)

Ichigo had made it to the roof of his school, waiting for his friends to show up. "This is going to be one heck of a conversation."

"And what makes you think that, Ichigo?" A young lady with black hair, Rukia Kuchiki, asked as she appeared.

"Gah! Rukia!? When did you get back and so soon!?" Ichigo asked, shocked to see her back so soon.

"Well, it's kind of complicated. All you need to know is that Soul Society... SORT OF allowed me to hang out with you. For now, at least." Rukia answered.

"So, it's sort of a vacation for you," Ichigo stated. "After everything that happened."

Rukia shrugged. Just then Orihime and Tatsuki walk though the door four other guys behind them.

"Looks like everyone's here." Ichigo declared.

"Hey Ichigo!" called one of the boys that was energetic and had brown hair, whose name was Keigo Asano, called out.

"Hey, Keigo." Ichigo called back.

"Okay, now I know something's up, you always tell me to keep it down or something," he stated.

"Maybe I should make you!?" Ichigo asked, angry.

"And he's back," Keigo stated.

Just then a red hair girl with glasses appeared. "Sorry, I'm late," the girl, Chizuru Honshō, stated.

"You're not late, actually." Ichigo pointed out.

"So what did you need to talk to us about?" Tatsuki asked.

Ichigo tells them about DEATH BATTLE! and the device he got that plays the episodes. The others look at him.

"Is it really good?" the tall tan boy, known as Chad, asked.

"I mean... I guess." Ichigo shrugged.

"Do you have the episodes?" Keigo asked.

"Yeah." Ichigo answered as he shows them.

(After showing the first five shows)

"That was cool," Chad stated.

"The fifth episode was amazing~!" Tatsuki stated.

"So this is what you meant..." Rukia marveled. "I see... I see..."

"Yeah," Ichigo said.

"Well then, are we able to watch the next episode?" Rukia brought up.

"Yeah, can we?" Keigo asked.

"I wouldn't mind seeing more," the kid with glasses, name Uryu Ishida, agreed.

"Yeah, we'll be watching from my home."

"Oh, your home?" Orihime repeated.

"Yeah," Ichigo answered. "Yuzu and the old man want and are okay for having people over to watch."

"And Karin?" Rukia brought up.

"She's okay with it, she didn't really care," Ichigo stated.

"I see. Okay. We'll go." Rukia nodded.

"Can we bring snacks?" Orihime asked.

"Oh sure. I can't be too sure if Yuzu's gonna make us something to eat, so..." Ichigo trailed off.

"We can say they're housewarming gifts, thank you gifts, or just being kind guest," one of Ichigo's friends, Mizuiro Kojima, stated.

"Ah. Okay then." Ichigo nodded.

"We'll head with you and stop at the conveyance store," Chizuru stated.

"Cool. Thanks." Ichigo said.

"It's still weird to see him nice," Keigo stated.

"I'm seriously going hit you..." Ichigo growled, his eyebrow twitching.

"You were saying?" Uryu asked Keigo.

(After School)

After everyone was finished with all they need to do, like after school activities and such, they all meet at the school entrance.

"Okay~ Everyone ready to go~?" Orihime asked everyone.

"I am~!" Keigo shouted.

"Same here." Tatsuki said.

"I hope the next episodes will be good," Chad said.

"You said it!" Keigo cheered.

"Alright, calm down you guys," Ichigo told them.

"What for?" Keigo asked.

"Because I don't want you all riled up and break things in my house when we get there, that a good enough answer?" Ichigo asked.

"Fair." Keigo sighed.

"We are going to be guests at his home," Uryu stated, pushing his glasses up.

"Yeah, I know..." Keigo replied.

"Anyways, let's go," Chizuru said, already heading out.

"Wait for us, Chizuru!" Orihime exclaimed as she runs to her.

The others followed them.

(Kurosaki Residence)

The group had got the items they wanted to bring after stopping at the market. They had finally arrived at Ichigo's home.

"I'm home. And I brought guests." Ichigo said.

"Hello Ichigo," Yuzu called from the kitchen, cooking. "We also brought a friend as well~"

"Oh, you did?" Ichigo hummed.

Just then a girl that was around Yuzu and Karin's age appeared from the other room. "Hello, I'm Midoriko Tono."

"Oh hey. You from their school?" Ichigo asked Midoriko.

She nodded. "I am, you can call me Midori for short. Your sisters do."

"Yeah. Sure." Ichigo nodded back.

"Oh, we brough gifts and snacks for the show," Orihime said.

"Oh, we can have them with dinner then," Yuzu said.

"That's what I was thinking~" Orihime declared.

The others sweatdropped. "Please don't make anything weird..."

"What do you mean?" Orihime asked the others.

"Orihime, I love you like a sister, but some of the food combination you make tend to go on the weird side," Tatsuki said, putting her hand on Orihime's shoulder.

"I don't think they do..." Orihime replied, a finger to her own chin.

Just then Isshin came in and dropkicked Ichigo, shouting, "You left your guard down!"

"AGH!" Ichigo grunted and was sent into the ground.

"Dad!" Yuzu scolded her father. "We have guest. You shouldn't do that around then!"

"Oh, we do?" Isshin huffed, looking at said guests.

Isshin was then punched in the face by Ichigo, so hard that he was imprinted on the wall. "WILL YOU BE A NORMAL PERSON FOR ONCE!!!???"

Ichigo's friends couldn't help but look on in shock.

Ichigo sighed and looked to his friends and guest. "Sorry about that," he apologized. "He's like that a lot..."

"Orihime's kind of a weirdo-"

"Hey!" Orihime pouted.

"-But your dad's on a whole other level of weird..." Keigo pointed out.

"You're one to talk..." Ichigo and Tatsuki stated dryly.

"Hey!" Keigo hollered.

"Okay everyone, settle down," Yuzu called. "Dinner's done."

Chad hums. "That smells good..."

Yuzu smiles at him. "Thank you~"

"Let's go ahead and dig in, then!" Tatsuki cheered.

They all get their food, thanking Yuzu for the meal. After they finished eating, they set up all the snacks for the show, taking seats around the TV to watch Death Battle. "Everyone ready?" Ichigo asked.

Everyone affirmed in their own ways.

With that, Ichigo hit play.

Karin: "Took you two long enough..."

Kaizoku: He was busy. Lay off him.

Yeah... Life is hectic right now... And it's starting to turn springtime now...

Karin: (Shrugs) "Not my problem. You two should hurry up then so you can get to work on the next chapter."

Kaizoku: To borrow a phrase from an old man from a certain 3D animated movie... "You can't rush art".

Love Toy Story and Pixar. They're tied with Studio Ghibli in movies I love. Anyways, we hope you all liked the chapter, and hope to see you all next time.

Karin: "Good, I'm heading back." (She leaves)

... Well that ruined the end...
