Flare was suffering her worst fear. The flu and on the day of the new fireworks show. She was waiting all year to see it and now she couldn't. Her head was all hot from her fever,she had no energy,even her ice melted the moment she summoned it. It was truly the most horrible day to get sick. What made this day even more horrible was all her friends would be there and she wouldn't. Cold,Incourageya,Maiden and Salmonstrike would all be there and she be stuck in bed.

A knock at the door interrupted her thoughts though.

"Who is it?" Flare voice was all sore and rash from her flu.

The door opened to reveal her friends all dressed up for the fireworks festival.

"Hi sis!" Incourageya hugged her,not caring if he would get her flu later.

"Hey Flare!" Cold smiled,he handed her a bowl of her favorite ice cream. "Got your favorite"

" Thanks"She gave him a small smile. She did have something on her mind "Why aren't you guys at the festival?"

" We aren't without our  favorite cousin! " Maiden explained

Salmon just nodded as he placed some tea on Flare's  dresser near her bed. "This is my father tea remedy for flu symptoms,this should help you get well faster"

Flare was touched,she had friends and a wonderful little brother who would stay with her no matter what. "Geez,I love guys!"
