This is Bastet. In the series you have anthromorphic animals and creatures that resemble real life animals just like with pokemon. (hey if the Bad Guys movie can have both anthromorphic animals, humans and normal animals, then this series is no different)

Bastet is one of them. She is Kuneychi's animal companion (and pet but Kuneychi and Bastet finds as an insult). Don't be fooled by her small size, she is very feisty and aggressive that even the biggest creatures fear her.

She is based on an actual black melanistic serval. Just to be clear, Bastet's size is the same as a house cat's. A serval is much taller than a house cat.

No one really knows what Bastet is and yes her name is from the Egyptian feline deity. Orginally her fur was like a dark blue but I think the black fur works better. Also, her tail use to look like a lion's tail.
