Chapter 34

Blaze glanced at the book on her hip again just before they walked inside. She was thrown back into reality when she heard shrill shrieking.

There was a growl and it stopped. Blaze walked in and saw a big group of demons gathered around Clawface who had one of the trainees on the fround under his boot.

"Now that wasn't so bad now, was it?" Clawface asked. Blaze heard Gar mutter something angrily, but chose to not bother him with her questions.

"Clawface. I have awakened. How much have I missed?" Blaze asked. Clawface looked up at her and let the demon pupil underneath him scamper to some where in the crowd.

He eyed her for a moment and saw the book on her hip.

"That's Mists book... You do well to read that daughter of Samael. She died writtin' that thing." Clawface said. Blaze felt her spirit lower a bit at this confirmed news. She had thought she had died but hearing it was a different story.

"What about Basha? Is she dead?" Blaze asked. Clawface sighed and grabbed her arm. Gar got a dark look because of this but held his tongue.

Clawface led her outside.

"Go on the roof and look at Samaels throne." He said. Blaze feared what she would see but quickly climbed up to the roof.

She saw her, she wasn't dead. She was being tortured. Basha was xhained by the neck and forced to stand in magme. It was only at her ankles but it was excruciatingly painful for demons to stand in magma.

She looked exhausted and in immense pain. Blaze gaped at this. Wouldn't Basha be a bigger opponent against Samael? She was the warrior out of her and Mist.

"See what I mean? She must not have any proper feet now. Samael is tearing her body apart so she wont be able to fight."Clawface called up to her.

Blaze slowly climbed back down.

"Is there anyway for me to talk to her?" Blaze asked. Clawface frowned and narrowed his red eyes.

"If you want to risk your life thats your choice, but I'm not going to let you. You need to stay alive, we need and heir when he is gone or killed." Clawface warned. Blaze nodded and sighed.

"Youre right. Maybe I could speak with her after all of this." Blaze muttered.

"Come on, you need to catch up on training. You need to be ready when we are." Clawface instructed. Gar narrowed his eyes at his father but continued to be silent. Clawface started walking back inside and gestured for them to follow.
