Just a life after Baam's "death",

After the accident of Baam's death, his friends try to move on but Khun, Khun still believe his alive..

Khun then cut off his ties with his friends and go looking for the people who might be useful for his team,

He had recruit Michael, Ran, Novick, and Apple..

He also brought in Rachel, even though he suspicious of her, all of this is part of the plan to supervise and see any clue he could get from her...

During all the time they spend time together, Khun always go out to search for another new recruit for their team,

While he is looking, he heard a rustle and turn around, no one...

He keeps on going and hear another rustle, it went on and on, again and again...

Until he go to an alley and hide in the shadow, he saw a figure, he pull out his blade and quickly go aim for the stalker's throat but he saw no one...

Until he himself felt a knife at his back throat,

"Quiet skill you are, and here I thought a lightbearer are supposed to be the strategist..." a soft voice said from behind her..

This is the day, Khun met Inkuro Afuru, a traveller from different world,

Afuru ask him, interogate him, answer his questions, there's so many things that just got him intrigue with this traveller from different world...

Khun finally get to know her, she is 15(so young), she is an assassin, she still in her highschool and she is a curse,

In his world, they would call it a shinsu but she called it a curse...

Khun also get to know she can see the future with her system, this got Khun even more intrigue to the point he would want to recuit her for the team but Afuru rejected,

"Even if I join your team, the event that will come in the future would still be happening..." Afuru said after drinking her chocolate milkshake, "Instead, I actually want to recruit Rak but since you caught my attention, exile prince, how would you like to join my team."

My team... that sentences had just keep Khun up, normally he always be the one who recruit and persuade people to join him but this turn around..

Afuru gives him sometime to think,

And after that day, she stops visiting,

Khun continued on improving himself, his skill, his shinsu, his plan, everything...

He also get a hints from Afuru, that Baam is alive but somewhere within the enemies,

Khun get a new recruit, Gyetang...

Khun still waiting for Afuru to come but still, she didn't...

He can still feel an eyes on him, but choose to ignore it...

During the mission, Khun found a note on the ground, he picked it up..

The handwrting is good but a little childish with a weird drawing,
"The chicken will die...
It is not by the flu,
The chicken wil l  di  e"

After that day, Gyetang die from some "bird flu",

Khun hold no attachment to him and yet, he feel so betrayal and stunned by it..

Khun get out and try to find a new recruit, he goes to a cafe to clear his head after he almost done, he sees his bill and saw a note,

"Meet someone n a  me   Dan!
He  is  tr ustw orthy   enou gh for
y ou, your br othe r   an d   N ovi ck"

So you wanna play this game huh? Khun thought and smile in amusement,

He have met Dan and also captured him beforw he could run away..

The note is still on his head, him, his brother, and Novick...

Strange they didn't mention Apple, Michael, and Rachel...

After that...

Everything went down hill,

Michael and Apple are FUG agents, Rachel also siding with them, Dan's leg is hurt because of them... because of him..

He couldn't protect another teammates...

He wishes Baam was here-

He looks up and saw a kid, that is not Afuru,

The kid has a silver hair, and a green emerald eyes,

"Are.. Are you okay?" The kid said...

Khun was stunned until he heard his name being called, "A.A!"

Khun turn to Ran, who are in the doorway, Khun turn back to his front and saw the boy from before disappeared...

After that day, the boy never appeared but help him through his notes and ask him if there is something wrong...

Khun never want a pity from someone especially a kid but the boy does not look at him in pity...

And finally his life continue on,

He finally see everything, he finally see him again, he finally accomplish something he didn't know he would accomplish...

He finally get to see his friends again, everything is back to normal,

"This is nice..."

He heard a voice and turn around, it's the boy from before,

"You.." Khun started and before he could said anything, the boy beat him..

"Are you happy?"

Khun was taken back, no one, no one has ever ask him this...

"Yes, yes I am-"

"Are you happy?"

No matter what answer he gave to the boy, the boy keep asking the same question until he gives up,

"I am not sure, I get to meet Baam again, I get to meet my friends again, I get to taunt and mocking Rachel, I am not sure..."

The boy look at him and look back at the view in front of them..

"You are not a burden," the sentences from the boy caught Khun off guard,

"You may manipulate, gaslight and loves ordering around but you are the most empathy person in the world. People may not see it through your manipulation but people who manipulate are empathy..."

The boy continue on, "You would do anything for someone to the point you didn't realise how value you are to yourself as well... Your mother never held you in her arm, only asking for the plan... Your sister knows you too well but didn't do anything for you even if she know... A father never really look at you but outsider said you are just like him..."

"You do anything to get a praise, a compliment, anything to get something good from them... And yet they didn't bother to give it... They have been hurting you... And you have.. to live.. with... it.."

The boy stopped but Khun can still hear a fainted sound from him, Khun himself however,

He is stunned... This boy... Knows him and the sound of that boy... They boy get it...

This boy get his situation, his problem...

Khun didn't realise he is crying... Ah... How long has it?

He hasn't cried since Baam's "death"...

"But.. You are not them, you are you. You are not your mother, you are not your father. You are Aguero, not a Khun, not a Agnis. Just Aguero and as Aguero, you are yourself. No one else can pull on your string anymore..."

Khun still silence until he let out an amusement chuckled, he asks the kid's name,

The kid smile, "Gokudera Hayato, Afuru calls and still waiting for the answer..."

Khun smiled at him, "I accept..."

That's the day, he finally get some freedom...
