Monday

Grabbing the cup of water in his hands, Midoriya made his rounds, walking across the hallways.

Because of his nap, he woke up at 1am feeling refreshed.

At 1am

One Fucking AM

Okay, calm down, Midoriya. They probably didn’t want to wake you up, maybe that’s why they didn’t call you up for dinner.

Right, it could be because of that.

There was no way they could have forgotten about you.

Right.

Midoriya sighed, swallowing the last bit of his sandwich that he made in a hurry to calm his growling stomach.

Pausing before one of the doors, he paused, brows scrunched up in worry.

Opening the door softly, he peeked in.

As expected, Mina’s having another nightmare.

Midoriya placed the cup of water on the side of the table, soothing Mina’s curls.

“You’re not a monster, Mina.” Midoriya whispered, soothing the girl who was now crying in her sleep.

Gently smoothing through Mina’s pink curls, Midoriya began to whisper comforting words.

“Every part of you is human.”

“Your quirk is amazing.”

“You didn’t mean to use your acid quirk. That was an accident.”

“Your friend is fine.”

“They know it’s an accident.”

“You’re a hero.”

“Mina, you’re a hero. You are not a villain.”

“A hero.”

“The best hero.”

“And you’re going to protect them all.”

“That’s right, the hero - Pinky.”

By now, Mina had stopped muttering her fears, her tears drying on her cheek.

Grabbing a piece of tissue, he dabbed it in water and wiped Mina’s cheeks.

“You’re going to be a wonderful hero, Mina. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”

A smile tugged at the pink haired girl’s lips as she snuggled comfortable into her bed.

Smiling, Midoriya took his cup of water, leaving Mina’s room, and back into the kitchen to make himself another sandwich.

I’m starting to wonder if soups have a thing against me.

Togota senpai was walking with Hado senpai and Amajiki senpai when a bowl of soup flew straight at them and guess what happened? Togota senpai’s instincts kicked in and punched the bowl of soup.

He punched the bowl of soup.

In my direction.

“Pffft. Hahahahaha!” Kirishima started laughing at the scene of a soup-drenched Midoriya.

“Midoriya, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to.”

“It’s alright, Togota-senpai, just a little mishap, right?”

Thank god I placed an extra set of uniform in the locker this morning.

I’ll place another one in my locker later this evening.

“Fucking nerd, why do you smell like fucking soup again?”

“Oh, Bakubro! You should have seen it.”

“Seen what, shitty hair?”

“The bowl of soup!”

Midoriya sighed, secretly slipping away from the duo.

He wasn’t in the mood to listen to Kirishima’s exaggerated storytelling.

“If someone delivers an uppercut, what do you do? Midoriya.”

“Dodge, dominant foot back, other foot low sweep. If not, aim for their knees or grab their wrists and try to lock him down. Doesn’t matter if it’s dirty, it’s still efficient.” Midoriya answered lazily, his mind wandering to the incident that had happened last week.

“If you’re not fast enough?”

“Still try to dodge back while grabbing the opponent’s wrist with one hand. Other hand should be in the defense position. Anyways, that should give you time to dodge. If you’re weak and have no strength, use the force of the uppercut as yours. Or, if you’re annoyed, just do a kick in between their legs. Don’t look though, it’ll give your move away.”

After a moment of silence, Midoriya then realized what he had just answered. Freezing, he looks away from the birds outside the window, and slowly back into the classroom.

“Woah, that’s so manly.”

"Damn."

The class was half in shock, half in awe at the green haired teen who delivered quite an answer.

“I assume you have been annoyed and kicked someone before?”

“N-No. Of course not.”

“Damn right, this shitty nerd probably’s too much of a fucking coward anyways.”

Midoriya gave an awkward smile.

“Where are all of the snacks?” Midoriya questioned no one in particular as he checked through the pantry again.

They didn’t restock anything at all, did they?

Tomorrow will be a bloodbath if some of the girls and Sato don’t get their daily intake of confectionaries.

Not to mention, the flour ran out.

It’s nearing 11pm, the supermarket should still be open.

Midoriya quietly slipped out of the dorm while flipping open his phone and searching for his sensei’s contact. Pressing on ‘Dadzawa’, Midoriya typed out a quick message and waited for a reply.

‘Don’t take too long. I’ve notified the school system. Be back before 1am.’

“Huh, sensei actually let me go without a complaint? Is this a fake?”

Midoriya chuckled before plugging in his ear pieces, jogging down the hill towards the nearest supermarket.
