Rachel yawned as she boarded the bus. It was still dark out, and everyone was tired. But, apparently, the boys weren't too tired to to be annoying. Rachel sat in her normal seat, and plopped her backpack next to her. She stared out the window until they reached Sophie's bus stop.

Rachel looked out the window and tried to look like someone you did not want to sit next to, so Sophie could sit next to her. Luckily, it worked. Sophie got on the bus, perky even at this early hour. Her signature two braids were swinging around as she sat next to Rachel.

"Sophie, you know our detective mystery thing? Well, I  found another clue." Rachel pulled out the note and handed it to Sophie.

"Woah. Where did you find this?" Sophie said after reading the note.

"Yesterday, at the end of the day, right before you and I  went to the bus."

"And now we know where to look for the next clue!"

"The only issue is that Ms.Gardner will think it is wierd if I  am poking around her classroom."

"We will have to find a time when she isn't there to look." Sophie said. Since there wasn't much more to talk about on that subject, Sophie was flipping through her ipad pictures and showing Rachel all of the Dr. Who and Harry Potter memes that she had saved.

"Hey, Dawn." Rachel said to her friend who sits next to her during Mrs. Gardner's homeroom. Sophie was is Mr. Mahone's homeroom. Then, right before the bell rang, Ainsley rushed into the room and slipped into her seat behind Dawn.

Rachel pulled out her book, but couldn't concentrate. The thought that her next clue could be in this classroom somewhere was overwhelming. Rachel stood up to get a drink from the water fountain. On the way there, she passed the bookshelves. She ran her fingers along the spines of the books, but one book stood out to her. It was I  will always love you by Heather Hill. Rachel pulled it out and flipped through it. Then a small piece of paper fell out. It was light pink, and in careful handwriting it read,

I  love you!

This 'M' kissed the paper, leaving a hot pink print of her lips there. Rachel almost dropped the book. This was what she had been looking for!
