Blaine and Kurt were happily dating for a year until everything got messy and Kurt made a new friend. Sebastian changed Kurt and Blaine couldn't do it anymore. But how will he feel when he sees Kurt again in New York after 2 years?

"This is Callbacks?" Finn raised an eyebrow as he and all of the ex-New Directions entered the karaoke bar.

"Yes, it doesn't look like much but it's pretty awesome." Sebastian grinned, wrapping a protective arm around Kurt.

"Oh my god." Kurt whispered, extracting himself from his boyfriend's grip as he jogged over to the bar, "Blaine?"

A hazel-eyed man turned to look confusedly at Kurt, a grin spreading across his face when he recognised the boy, "Kurt! I haven't seen you in ages! How are you!"

"I'm great, how are you?"

"I'm doing fine." The boy nodded, "So, what brings you to Callbacks?"

"The New Directions- well, the ex-New Directions wanted to meet up and I suggested here because we all love singing and this place is totally awesome."

"I have to agree with you there." Blaine laughed.

"Who's this, Kurt?" Sebastian frowned as he appeared next to Kurt.

"Oh, this is... An old friend. Sebastian, this is Blaine. Blaine, this is Sebastian, my boyfriend."

"Nice to meet you." Blaine forced a smile onto his face as he reached a hand out to shake Sebastian's.

"Come on, baby. Let's go sit down."

"It was nice seeing you again, Blaine." Kurt smiled.

Half an hour later and Blaine was still sat at the bar feeling very bored and very alone.

He glanced back over to Kurt's table for what must've been the 100th time that night, and saw Kurt snuggled up with his boyfriend.

But then his boyfriend leaned down and began kissing open-mouthed kisses down Kurt's neck and across his jaw.

Kurt glanced around the bar awkwardly and Blaine could just make out that he was telling Sebastian to stop.

But Sebastian didn't stop. If anything, Kurt's protesting spurred him on.

Kurt appeared to be really uncomfortable and kept telling his boyfriend to stop.

Blaine was about to intervene when Sam leaned across the table and pulled Sebastian back. The blonde seemed angry and by the look on Sebastian's face, he wasn't receiving any complements.

Blaine rolled his eyes and decided to occupy his time a bit better.

Singing.

5 minutes later, Blaine had chosen the perfect song for this occasion and was stood on the stage, guitar strap slung around his neck and hands ready to play the familiar tune.

"Hey everybody. If you don't know who I am; I'm Blaine Anderson. I sing here quite a lot but today I wanna dedicate this song to my friend:.." Blaine paused, contemplating whether he should go through with all this, before throwing all doubts out the window, "Kurt."

Blaine saw Kurt's head snap up at the mention of his name and Blaine knew he had the boy's attention immediately.

Blaine had to hide a smirk when he saw Sebastian tighten his hold around Kurt's waist, obviously feeling threatened by the song choice.

But he couldn't hide his smirk when Kurt batted Sebastian's arm away and leaned away from his boyfriend.

And any guy like you deserves a gentleman

Blaine knew there'd be some homophobic people annoyed at the change of pronouns but he couldn't please everybody.

At least Kurt seemed happy.

Kurt could feel the stares of his friends but he was ignoring that. All that mattered was the boy on the stage, singing his heart out and expressing his feelings the only way he knew how.

Sebastian knew Kurt and this Blaine guy were something more than 'old friend's when he watched Kurt's face light up the way it used to do for him.

Lately, Kurt hadn't seemed interested in him. As if being with him was a chore, something he didn't want to do.

Sebastian never really loved Kurt. His original intentions were to get the boy in bed, fuck him once or twice and then throw him out like all of the others. But for some reason that he couldn't fathom, Sebastian couldn't find it in himself to get rid of the blue-eyed boy.

And now this annoying raven- haired guy with incredible hazel eyes and a dreamy voice was after his Kurt.

Blaine grinned, strummed his guitar playfully and quietly before finishing on one final open chord strum.

"Thanks." Blaine laughed into the microphone as applause filled his ears.

He stumbled down the stairs, only to find Kurt waiting for him at the bottom.

"Hi, Blaine."

"Kurt, hey."

"I liked your song."

"Thank you."

"And, I- well, I still have feelings for you but I have a boyfriend."

"But-"

"No. I have a boyfriend. But call me in a week and I might not have one." Kurt winked before slipping back to his table, leaving an open-mouthed Blaine staring after him.

"Kurt Hummel, you are going to be the death of me."

I need to start adding ND's reactions. I keep forgetting that part. I always get caught up in writing their story. But this is a ND meet Blaine fic so I should probably try harder. Next chapter will definitely have a real ND reaction.
