Blaine and Kurt met each other through Blaine's sister; Rachel. They've been friends ever since they were 6 and now, at 18, they've finally developed something... more than friendship. But Rachel's getting suspicious, how much longer before she finds out and how will she react?

Rachel gaped from the top of her stairs as she watched her brother open the door and expect an incredibly tight hug that lasted way longer than necessary from her best friend.

"Hey, Rach?" She heard Blaine call.

"I'm right here." She huffed as she ran down the stairs, "Hi, come on Kurt." She glared heatedly at Blaine before grabbing Kurt's hand and dragging him away, trying not to notice the way Kurt looked back and watched Blaine.

"Hey, Rach. How-"

"Don't 'hey, Rach' me!" Rachel shrieked, "What was that?"

Kurt frowned, "What was what?"

"That-that hug! Why'd you hug my brother?"

"Uh, because he's my friend as well?"

"Yeah, but you're here for me! And you're meant to like me more! And you didn't even hug me so-"

Rachel shrieked as Kurt tackled her to the bed and squeezed her in his arms, laughing as he did so, "There, is that a good enough hug?"

Rachel couldn't speak through her laughter so she simply nodded.

Rachel was walking past her room when she heard music coming from Blaine's room.

At first she rolled her eyes, assuming it was Blaine practicing some new warbler song.

So, not wanting to spy or betray her glee club, she began to walk away.

But then she heard the voice coming from the door.

That wasn't Blaine's voice. That was Kurt! What was Kurt doing here? Rachel didn't even know Kurt was coming round today.

Blaine had told her that one of his close friends was coming to see him... it couldn't have been Kurt, could it?

She edged towards Blaine's bedroom door just as her brother began to sing.

Rachel narrowed her eyes. This wasn't the kind of song you sing with your 'close friend'.

So, with a final glare to Blaine's door, she burst through it and began singing the next verse.

Kurt and Blaine almost jumped out of their skin when Rachel stormed in, completely not expecting her.

Blaine stood up and raised an eyebrow at her, challenging her, testing her.

Rachel wouldn't be insulted like that.

She began to sing, surprised when Blaine joined in, singing her part.

Kurt rolled his eyes. This wasn't happening. There was no way the Anderberrys were having a singing duel in the middle of Blaine and his duet.

So he interrupted them, singing as well.

Blaine glanced at Rachel and Rachel stared back.

Rachel opened her mouth to sing but Blaine beat her to it, singing unnecessarily loud along with Kurt who simply shook his head.

Rachel joined in this time, eyes still not leaving Blaine.

Rachel shoved Blaine lightly, causing the boy to stumble back a bit as she stretched her arms out to the side and sing by herself.

Blaine stood up from where he'd been pushed onto his armchair and glared at Rachel, joining in with her, battling her for the next duet with Kurt.

Rachel gaped at him and Blaine took his opportunity, turning to Kurt and moving closer to him, beginning his small duet with Kurt who raised an eyebrow at him but began to sing as well.

Rachel cleared her throat and began singing once she'd finally regained control of her mouth.

Blaine and Rachel were breathing heavily as they held each other's glares, not noticing Kurt who simply groaned and fell back onto Blaine's bed, pulling out the latest vogue magazine to occupy himself whilst the pair battled it out in a staring contest.

"I'm telling you, they're not just friends!" Rachel shrieked to anyone who would listen.

"I still don't get why this is our business, though." Quinn frowned.

"Uh, because he's my brother and Kurt's in our glee club."

"Yeah, so from that," Artie raised an eyebrow, "I got that we're talking about your brother who may be close friends with our friend who we don't control and is allowed other friends. I still don't get what makes this our problem."

"Well- well- well, it's Finn's problem too! Kurt's his brother!"

"I don't really care if Kurt's friends with your brother, he can be friends with whoever he wants." Finn shrugged.

"Oh my god you guys are all idiots! Don't you see? Kurt's dating him!"

"Who am I dating?" Kurt frowned as he entered the choir room.

"Blaine!" Rachel shrieked.

Kurt raised an eyebrow, "Uh, what?"

"You're dating Blaine!"

"Where the hell did you come up with that one?"

"See, he's not denying it!" Rachel grinned as she turned to face the New Directions.

Kurt simply shrugged and continued on his way to a seat at the back of the room, pulling out his phone and composing a message.

To Blaine: Rachel thinks we're dating, should I deny or confirm? xx

Kurt glanced up to see Rachel and the whole glee club staring at him, "What?"

"Are you gonna deny it?" Rachel shrieked.

Kurt's phone buzzed and he looked down to read the message.

To Kurt: Is this really a question?

To Blaine: I don't know. I'm kinda tired of hiding. What do u think?

To Kurt: If u wanna tell them u can. U no I don't mind, I'll love you no matter what ;)

To Blaine: Cheeseball. K, I'm gonna tell them. xx

To Kurt: Love you xx

To Blaine: Luv youuuuuu babyyyy xx

To Kurt: Dork.

"Kurt, what the hell?" Finn yelled, "Are you going to deny it?"

"No." Kurt shrugged.

"Why the hell not?" Puck frowned.

"Because it's true and I don't like lying." Kurt raised an eyebrow.

"It's true?" Finn shrieked.

"You're dating my brother?" Rachel gaped, "This is insane! I can't allow this!"

"I don't think you're the one who decides. Actually, I don't think anyone, besides me and Blaine, decides whether we date or not."

"Why would you date my brother? This must be breaking some kinda friend code." Rachel cried.

"Oh, do you mean the code that you broke when you started dating my brother?"

"He's your step-brother though."

"I still consider him my brother. Isn't that breaking the friend code, Rachel?"

"I can't believe this!"

"Hey, Rach?" Puck frowned, "Is that you're brother there?"

Puck pointed towards the choir room door and Rachel spun around so quickly she almost fell over.

And sure enough, there stood Blaine. Leaning against the door frame, watching everything that was going on with a smirk on his face. He was still dressed in his Dalton uniform but his shirt was slightly untucked, his blazer buttons undone and his tie hanging loosely around his neck.

Kurt's mouth ran dry at the sight of him, "Damn."

Kurt glanced sideways to look at who had said that; Santana. Kurt rolled his eyes, even if she'd simply said what he couldn't.

"Back off." Kurt muttered.

"Ooh!" Santana grinned, "Kurt's got a possessive streak, guys."

Kurt glared at the Latina when everyone turned to look at him.

Rachel frowned, "What're you doing here, Blaine?"

Blaine laughed slightly, "I heard that Kurt finally told you." Blaine winked at the countertenor who smirked, "Thought I'd come see for myself."

The New Directions gaped at him. This wasn't who they expected to be related to Rachel Berry of all people.

"Oh, and me and Kurt have a date." Blaine wiggled his eyebrows suggestively to which Kurt rolled his eyes, shouldered his bag and walked up to the front and shoved Blaine's head slightly.

Blaine pouted and Kurt merely rolled his eyes before grabbing Blaine's hand and all but dragging him out of the room.

The New Directions sat in silence for a couple of seconds before Quinn sighed, "Well then."

Seriously, what is going on with me lately? Like what the hell is this crack? 😹😹
