Chapter 36

After the wedding, things calmed down a bit. They were still technically at war, but they were in the gathering forces stage.

In other news, mobs are apparently horrible at mobilizing. At least the Danvers mob is.

~

Barry had proposed to Sara a few days after the wedding. Sara understandably freaked out a bit but accepted after a bit of thought.

Alex had grumbled a bit about "Damn Merlyn mob, stealing my best driver," But she looked happy about it.

She was now learning how to be a part of the mob with Barry helping to teach her. She was learning more about the field than Laurel.

~

Malcolm and Slade had been teaching Laurel about the mob so she could be more prepared. But she learned mostly behind the scenes.

It was all going well with them. She didn't have many complaints about the guards, because she didn't often have guards. She spent a lot of time with her husbands so she wouldn't have to have guards.

And because she loved them. That too.

~

Alex had been spending a lot of time around the Merlyn mansion, instead of National city.

Which was complained about by Malcolm because she had sent Kara to mobilize her forces, and it wasn't working very well.

Kara got sidetracked too much to mobilize the Danvers mob. Finally, they sent Oliver to help her get back on track.

~

Veronica had been busy planning her wedding, which her sisters freaked out over.

Then they started thinking about how making a family tree would be a nightmare now.

And she had also been learning more about the mob, although, like Sara, she was learning about the field.

~

Thing were much less calm at the FBI.

Elizabeth was now a woman short because Angel quit. She couldn't blame her though.

She was trying to figure out what in the hell was happening to the Monument Point mob, and keep tabs on what was happening in the Merlyn mob.

As far as she could tell, James Olsen had gone underground with his wife Lena, but not Lena's other husband Max Lord, which confused her a bit.

The rest of Monument was tearing itself apart without their leadership.

Half of Monument was more loyal to James and half was loyal to Max, and there looked like there was about to be a civil war between those two sides.

~

In the Darhk mob, they were attempting to gather forces. It wasn't going well. They tried to get some allies from National city, but most of the other mobs there didn't want to get into this fight.

So, they were forced to go to other cities, but so far, no dice.

"Has anyone ever told you your codes are unnecessarily complicated?' Laurel asked Slade and Malcolm as she looked over the book they had.

"No," Malcolm said.

"But in their defense, they are way too terrified to say that to us," Slade said.

"But, Thea or Tommy haven't said a thing? Thea!?" Laurel said.

"We told her not to complain about that kind of stuff," Malcolm said.

"Ah, that... still doesn't make sense, she doesn't listen to you," Laurel said.

Malcolm laughed and leaned over to kiss her forehead. Laurel smiled and looked back at her book.

"They're finally here," Alex burst into the room.

"It took long enough," Malcolm said.

"Shut up," Alex said.

"You've said that!" Malcolm said.

"It's my mob, I can say whatever I want, you can't," Alex said.

They went to the entrance hall, and everyone, Caitlin, Barry, Tommy, Sara, and Veronica, as well, as many other people were there.

The Danvers mob walked in. Or at least the more important ones did. If they were just foot soilders they were getting settled in.

When they walked in, they heard a gasp, and a knife fell on the ground from a woman in the back.

"Sara," the woman had an accent.

"Nyssa?"
