Chapter 13
Laurel was getting ready for her date with Malcolm and Slade when Veronica came in.
"Good colour, black always looked great on you," Veronica said.
"Thanks, but I have to go soon," Laurel said, turning to pick out her shoes.
"Take these, they'll match your dress and you won't bust your ankle," Veronica said, handing her a pair of heels.
"Thanks," Laurel said, putting them on. "I have to go."
"Bye," Veronica said, as Laurel headed out.

When Laurel got to the restaurant she saw several bodyguards that she knew from the Hall, although you wouldn't notice them unless you knew them. She went to the table and when she got there, Malcolm and Slade smiled at her.
"Hi," Laurel said as she sat down.
"Hey, Laurel," Malcolm said.
They spent the next hour, talking about many different things, they had a pretty good time. At the end of the night Malcolm looked at Slade and said, "Laurel, we have a question."
"What's your question?" Laurel asked.
"Will you marry us," Malcolm said, pulling out a ring box.
"Can I think about it?" Laurel asked.
"Of course, take as much time as you need to decide," Malcolm said.
"Thank you," She got up and headed to the car that was going to take her back to the Hall.
When she got to the Hall she went to her apartment as fast as she could. When she got there, Alex and Frost were there now, and they were playing video games again.
"Hey, how was the date?" Thea asked.
Laurel walked right past them and into her room.
"That bad huh?" Thea said.
"Thea, stop being nosy," Oliver said.
"Excuse me, have you met me?" Thea said.
Alex got up, grabbed a bottle of alcohol and two glasses and said, "I'm taking this."
"Okay," Sara said, confused.
Alex walked into Laurel's room and saw her sitting on the bed.
"Did they already propose?" Alex asked.
Laurel nodded and Alex sat down.
"Did you say yes?" Alex asked.
"I asked them to let me think about it," Laurel said.
"You want a drink?" Alex asked.
"Yes," Laurel said, taking the one Alex handed to her.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Alex asked.
"Pfft, no," Laurel said, scoffing.
"Alright, no need to be bitchy about it," Alex said. "Do you want me to distract you?"
"Yes," Laurel said.
"Do you want to know why Kara cheats so much?" Alex asked, pouring another drink in their glasses.
"Yes, please solve that mystery for me, she seems so nice," Laurel said.
-----------
"Wait, so she flipped the board," Laurel said, laughing as Alex told her stories.
"Yep, just because she thought I was cheating. How do you cheat at Monopoly!?" Alex said.
"Oh, it's possible, Kara did it earlier," Laurel said.
"Of course she did, anyway, I had to ban her from games," Alex said.
"Of course, anyway, I should probably think about it, and it's late," Laurel said.
"Laurel, you should know, I'm leaving tomorrow, and so are the Diggles, meaning, Thea can't see Roy, because she's on house arrest, Kara and Oliver are going on a extended honeymoon, and then they will head to National City for a while, but Barry has to come back with me," Alex said.
"Oh god, Sara will be so upset," Laurel said.
Right about when they heard a loud WHAT!!!!
"Was that Sara or Thea?" Laurel asked.
"Both, I have to go," Alex said rushing out.
---------
The next morning, despite having a massive hangover the next morning, Laurel still went to say goodbye to everyone.
First, she went to say goodbye to Roy, and when she got there, she saw Roy and Thea hugging.
"I feel like I'm watching the end of Titanic," Oliver said.
"Shut up Oliver," Thea said.
"No, why would I do that?" Oliver chuckled.
"Hey," Laurel said as Sara came up. "Have you seen Alex?"
"Yeah, she's in the hallway," Sara said.
Laurel headed out into the hallway and saw Alex in the middle of a hug, with Caitlin. What was that?
"Um," Laurel said, unsure what to say.
"Oh, um, bye, Cai-" Alex said.
"Frost! Frost," Caitlin interrupted her.
"Bye, Frost," Alex said.
Laurel walked off with Alex and said, "What was that?"
"You tell no one," Alex said.
--------------------------
Later, after the Danvers had left with Oliver and Kara, the Diggles left as well, and everything had calmed down.
Laurel was in her apartment and had two empty shot glasses in front of her.
"Hey have you made a decision yet?" Sara said, coming behind her.
"Yeah, I'm just prepping- how did you know?" Laurel asked.
"Alex told me that Slade and Malcolm proposed, she also told me not to tell you she told me. Wow, try saying that five times fast," Sara laughed.
"No," Laurel said.
"So what did you decide?" Sara asked.
"Well-"
------------
Laurel was walking to where Slade and Malcolm were. When she got there she saw them at the table.
"Laurel," Slade said, looking up.
"Hey. Did you decide?" Malcolm asked.
"Why don't you let he get through the door first," Slade said.
"Shut up," Malcolm said.
"You shut up," Slade said.
"Both of you shut up," Laurel said.
"You can't tell me to shut up," Malcolm muttered, pouting like a child.
"Actually I think I can, after all, I am marrying you," Laurel said.
