Earlier.

Jennifer Walters slowly woke up, sitting up and giving a big stretch. "Sigh...." Jen sighed tiredly scratching her back, she then eyed the calendar and her eyes widened, "shit." Jen muttered as she got up from the bed, however she stopped as she eyed her husband who was still fast asleep, she smiled warmly and leaned back on the bad peppering shoulder and neck with kisses, it didn't wake
y/n but brought a smile to his face.

Jen brushed his hair and looked over to the audience. "I'd love to lay in bed with my man a lot longer but unfortunately duty calls." Jen said quietly as she got up from the bed. " because today is the day I really  hit the big leagues." Jen says as she walks over to the calander and points at today's date, with a big blue A inside the box. " because I'm gonna be joining the avengers." Jen says in excitement, the gets a sheepish look. "Well kind of." She says as she quickly hops in the shower, and we cut to her drinking her cup of coffee . "The fantastic four recommended me as a member, and now I just have to show up so they can see if I'm a good fit." Jen says confidently as she prepares y/ns mug and writes a little note for him. "I'd still be part time but I'd make a bigger difference as part of earths mightiest heroes, pardon the meta pun," Jen said playfully as she placed a kiss on the note and placed it next to y/ns coffee mug, With everything set, Jen was was ready to go.

"Well, time to get the story moving, before the author forgets again." Jen jokes as she heads out the door.

Later.

Jen had begun driving to to her destination,  thoughts wondering a bit as she moved with the flow of traffic.

" I wish y/n would have  come with me." Jen thought with a pout. " I know the avengers would accept him , I mean cmon I'm lucky I'm associated with my cousin but he's got a damn magic sword!" Jen thought. " but no, the research on his family comes first." Jen thought pushing the idea down. " and  I don't even know if I'm going to be avenger yet, one thing at a time Jen, one thing at a time." She thought as she finally pulled up to her destination.

Avengers mansion.

Jen smiled as she parked her car and got out. " how much do i have to make to get a place like this?" Jen chuckled to herself.

"Much more than either of our salaries , I can tell you that."

Jen jumped a bit as she looked around and noticed a familiar little woman with a pixie cut  flying near her face.

"Janet!" Jennifer said happily as  Janet turned back to normal size and hugged her friend.

"Thought I'd welcome you at the front, ready to head on in? Everyone's waiting."  Janet asked with a smile.

Jen nodded with a smile. "Hell yeah." Hand firm on her purse as she followed Jan, who used her personal avengers card to open the gate.

" I thought we would be doing this at the tower, isn't that the new base of operations? Jen asked curiously as they entered the mansion.

"Yeah but tony was still moving some things out and since you lived closer to the mansion everyone agreed it just be easier to do it here."  Janet explained as the walked down the hall. "Mr. Poker face not joining us?" Janet asked Jennifer Jennifer jokingly.

Jen chuckled as it was a silly way she had referred to her fiancé given his reserved emotions. " no, he has something else to get to today but his love and support his with me." Jen explained with a smile rubbing her ring.

Janet smiled and shoulder bumped Jen. " still great to see you found your person, Though I have to admit I thought he'd be more..." Janet trailed off.

"More what?" Jen asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Swole?" Janet said flexing. " you know like Wyatt." Janet clarified referring to Jennifer's old ex back in her early fantastic four days.

Jennifer laughed. " haha! Ok maybe y/n wouldn't have been my ideal type back then, but our attraction to each other  just grew differently,no adrenaline after a mission, it was a connection, a genuine one." Jen said emphasizing her point joining her hands together. "But hey since we are talking about partners how are you and hank doing?"  Jen asked  with a smirk.

Janet groaned. " it's good I just wish he'd stop getting swallowed up by his science." Janet said in irritation, seriously  what's the appeal playing with chemicals for so long?!

Jen chuckled. " I'm sure sue can sympathize." Jen joked.

"Hey don't be all smug, you had the luck of ending up with a samurai." Janet said smirking.

"Hey he's not a..er.." jen paused a bit . " okay he kind of his, but he's more than that,  he could give me roses  at the snap of his fingers." Jen said referring to y/ns connection to magic.

"don't let hank or tony hear you, i do not want to hear a science vs magic, nobody wants to hear a magic vs science debate." Janet chuckles shaking her head , they thenn stop infront of two doors. "Well, here we are, you ready?"

"As il ever be, any advice?" Jen asked  as she was little nervous.

"Just be yourself, and don't worry it wont be long." Janet said as she opened the door.

Jen was soon greeted by the rest of the avengers, The famous war hero Steve Rogers aka Captain America , the billionaire playboy tony stark aka ,Iron Man, the great scientist Hank pym aka giant man or antman depending on what he was doing on a particular mission , the master archer Hawkeye, and the Norse god Thor, 

"Jennifer Walters." Steve said with a smile. "It's good to finally meet you." He said offering a handshake.

Jen smiled accepting the handshake. "Like wise, sorry if I kept you waiting."

Tony stark open up his helmet and showed his charming smile. " not at all, we are just sorry if you were expecting to see Bruce today, he's kind of just shows up when he's wants too." Tony explained nodded.

Jen nodded a bit somberly.  " I know, I just hope  I can help him settle down sooner or later." Jen said as she knows her cousin could stick in one place for too long because of the hulk.

"Wait wait wait, is this the new candidate you guys were talking about?"  Hawkeye asked in a perplexed tone.

"Yes, we went over this alot." Hank said rolling his eyed under his mask.

"Really, no offense you don't exactly look the part." Hawkeye said as he eyed Jen in confusion, trying to figure out what she could do. " let me guess magic purse?" He guesses.

" uh no just a normal purse." Jen said a bit sheepishly.

"Then perhaps a proper demonstration is in order, please fair Jennifer, show us what you are capable of." Thor speaks with a confident smile.

Jennifer nodded with a smile, she dropped her purse to the floor and began her transformation.

Jen eyes flashed green and her muscles began to expand, the gamma-radiation in her gains awakening as she grew taller and stronger, her clothes ripped apart and her hair grew longer and green, soon the sensational she-hulk stood before them.

"Satisfied boys?" Jen spoke confidently as she removed some shredded clothing from her arms.

"Alright!" Janet cheered and clapped.

"Heh, at least she isn't smashing anything." Tony chuckled crossing his arms.

"Hah! Jennifer Walters Is no mere maiden!" Thor said heartily.

Hawkeye stood there mouth agape. "......you doing anything later." He couldn't help but ask.

Jen chuckled at Hawkeyes question. " flattered but I'll pass, I'm spoken for." Jen said flashing her engagement ring.

"Rats..." Hawkeye thought in his mind, wondering who could have locked her down already.

"Well you know what I can do, what's next?" Jen said as she opened her purse and pulled out a pair of slip on shoes.

"Well next is the final part of this meeting." Captain America with a smile. " welcome to the avengers." He declared.

Jen eyes widen in surprise. " wait that's it!? Don't you guys have more question or don't I have to knock down a random villain to prove myself."Jen said genuinely perplexed.

Steve chuckled understanding her confusion"No No your resume already speaks for it self, this was really all a formality." He explained.

"Yeah, when Sue put it a good word and we saw some footage of you on the field when new you would be a good fit." Tony said as he grabbed a card from the avengers table. "We can test your skills on the field and synergy with the team along the way, but as of right now, you're one of us." Tony said handing Jen her personal card.

Jen looked at her card, this was it, she was an avenger. " could this day get any better?" Jen asked with a smile looking at the card.

"BOOm!"

The mansion shook several times as something was no doubt fired upon it.

"No I said better not worse!" Jen yelled in shock and irritation.

"Defense Systems up  says F.R.I.D.A.Y what's happening!?" Tony called out to the ai of his suit which was also connected to the systems of the meeting room.

"We are currently being attacked by Hydra, the mansion is surrounded." F.R.I.D.A.Y spoke  displaying  their enemies on the monitors.

"Looks like we are gonna have to put off coffee and donuts huh cap?." Tony said as he put his helmet on.

"Heh, it seems so." Captain America said as he saw hydra soldiers closing in on their position  on the monitor.

Cap suddenly burst through the doors, knocking down two agents and hurled his shield across the wall, it richochated and knocked another who was about to fire down.

Cap caught the shield as it flew back to his hand. "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!" Cap yelled putting his shield over his head as everyone got ready for battle and more approached.

"Is it normal to get pumped after hearing that?" Jen asked  Janet.

Janet smirked as she shrunk to the size of a wasp once more. " every single time!" She yelled as her hands glowed.

"I'm sorry about the mansion tony." Hank said as he got ready to grow.

"Eh it's fine, I'm rich, il just build another one at some point!"  Tony said waving it off.

Hank had soon become giant man and burst through the roof, taking immediate against the large drones firing from the air and crushing them with his hands like flys.

The rest wasted no time in fighting through waves of ground troops and tanks, iron man took to the air and fired upon soldiers positioned on rooftops who were taking aim with rpgs and sniper rifles. "Incoming call from Ms.potts." F.R.I.D.A.Y spoke.

"Patch her through." Tony said as he dodged some misses and blasted them to ensure they didn't hit anything in the surrounding area.

"Tony, hydra is attacking The United Nations."Pepper informed as quickly as she could.

"Where the hell is S.H.I.E.L.D!?" tony asked as as he fired upon miniature drones with his shoulder mounters darts.

"40 minutes out, there's a military at the U.N but it's a full assembly, every world leader is at attendance, including the president." Pepper informed letting him know the severity of situation.

"Gonna have to push coffee and donuts even further down, we"re on it pep." Tony said as he ended the call.

"Have at the!" Thor cried out as he used as he threw mjolnir at a tank, making it shreds threw the tank like paper and calling it back to him.

Wasp uses her size advantage to evade fire using her bio-blasts to hit vulnerable areas of several soldiers in mech-suits, causing their armor to malfunction, Hawkeye took the time to expertly fire several explosive bolts at the paralyzed soldiers.

"Tick, Tick, boom." Hawkeye said with a smirk.

"BEEP" "BEEP" "BOOOM"

a chain of explosions decimated the soldiers, she-hulk swung a grunt into another group causing them to slam into a wall, and knocking them all out, suddenly she felt a bigger foe approaching, this one was in super armor much more advanced the  others.

"HAIL HYDRA!"  The armored hydra cried out ready for battle.

She-hulk smirked, and charged in.

"Jen wait!" Janet yelled , believing her friend was making a reckless move.

Jen weaved away from an energy blast, and landed a flying onto the hydras head, placing a large dent on it.

" strike with purpose, don't give your opponent an inch." Jennifer recited in her mind.

Jen landed on the ground, the hydra tried to retaliate with a left hook, Jen adjusted her footing and caught the hydras attack with both her arms, and drove her down on it , disabling used of it, the hydra tried to capitalize and her close proximity and blast her in the face, Jen just grabbed his wrist and yanked his hand up, forcing him to miss, maintaining wrist control with her left she struck the grabbed the armpit of the armor yanked a piece of the metal of with several wired and circuits, disabling the soldiers second arm, Jen jumped and palmed the soldiers head and forced him to the ground.

Jen the drove her hands inside the armor and forced it open, she dodged gunfire from the hydra who pulled out his sidearm and in desperate attempt at defense,  Jen weakly back handed him which was enough to knock the soldier out. " piece of cake." Jen said wiping dust off her hands.

"That was awesome!" Janet yelled in astonishment as she grew to full size and threw her hands up to high-ten Jen which she reciprocated. " now when did you pick up martial arts?" Janet asked in genuine curiousity.

"Having a samurai for a fiancé has its perks." Jen says playfully..

"I'm sorry what now?" Hank says in confusion, did she say samurai?

" no time for banter people, hydras attacking the U.N and Shield is 30 minutes out.." Tony said as he hovered down.

Cap eyes widen at the information. " that means this wasn't the main force, they must tried to kill two birds with one stone, or simply distract us." Cap said putting the motive of the attack together.

"Well shit, with all the world leaders in one place, we're going to need more hands on deck." Hawkeye said in concern.

" heroes are gonna flock to the danger so we won't be completely alone, and hydra is blood thirsty but they aren't stupid, they knew throwing their entire force at the U.N just wouldn't  be worth the losses they would get, so the odds are still in our favor." Tony spoke, he then noticed Jen away from the group, on a phone call!? " Jennifer!" He yelled

" be safe y/n, i love you." She speaks softly on her phone.

"I love you too Jen, sit tight." Y/n responded as the call ended. Jen smiled and put her phone away in her breasts. She looked to the audience. " what? Where else am I going to put it? I don't have pockets." She spoke through her thoughts.

"Mind sharing with the class Walters?" Hawkeye asked wondering why she would take make phone call right now.

"You said we needed help, so I called for help." Jen said with a smirk.

"Who?" Tony asked in curiosity.

Back To the present.

Y/n jumped from roof top to until he made a stop, he narrowed his eyes and using his enhanced vision, saw hydras forces making it to land, y/n suddenly drew his sword and swung behind him, several droids tried to sneak up on him, y/n sheathed his sword, and the droids fell apart in dozens of pieces, he eyed the familiar symbol from one of the droids.

"Hmph, cheap machinery." Y/n spoke as sento glowed. "As if I'm so easy to destroy." Y/n spoke firmly as he was on the move once more, heading straight for the battleground.
