No One's POV

The ravenet with long braided hair known as Kaitlyn Greig finally reached the next obstacle which was The Fall.

She had no problem in crossing this obstacle, since all she did was run on the lines with her abnormal balance, but during this obstacle Todoroki was able to catch up to her using his quirk.

Now they were nick in nick once again

But behind the two a certain ash blond wasn't too far behind

"Hahaha looks like the Berserk Jerk is catching up" Kaitlyn commented as she continued to run along with Todoroki

"And now we are finally approaching the last obstacle, everyone had better tread carefully... CAUSE YOUR STEPPING ONTO A MINE FIELD!" Present Mic announced "if you look carefully you can see where the little bombs are buried so keep your eyes on the ground people"

'Nice. For those who are ahead are put to a disadvantage' Kaitlyn thought 'but not for me'

She ran straight head not minding looking at the ground. She ran onto the mine field without actually stepping onto any of the mines.

'How is he able to get threw this so easily, dang it!'

Todoroki was to caught up in his thoughts, he did noticed that Bakugo was right on his heil

"OUT OF THE WAY!"

Bakugo shot past Todoroki and headed for the first runner up

"HEY! YOU LONG HAIRED BASTARD! DON'T THINK I FORGOT ABOUT YOU!"

He tried to attack Kaitlyn, but she dodged

"Oh, so you finally catched up Berserk Jerk, I thought you'd get here sooner" she taunted him with an amused smirk

And so the game of attack and dodge began, but a new player came into the game, one with split hair colours.

They fought with each other until...

BOOM!

"WHAT WAS THAT HUGE EXPLOSION IN THE BACK?! INCREDIBLE! what just happened, what ever the case, class 1A Izuku Midoria is suddenly in hot pro-suit of first place!"

"Scratch that the lead is HIS!"

Upon seeing Izuku in front, the three ~ that were once fighting ~ then proceeded to run and catch up

Midoria was slowly losing speed and the trio where finally catching up, but just as they started to pass him, when he was in mid air Izuku stepped on Todoroki and Bakugo, using them as some kind of grounding and used the hunch of metal he carried, to smash into the ground, activating the land mines beneath them.

The explosion was enough to give him another boost, ahead of the others

'Damn Midoria, That was a gutsy move'

Kaitlyn mentally praised

"Eraser Head your students are amazing! What the heck are you teaching them!"

"This has nothing to do with me, each of them is powered by their own drives to succeed"

"There you have it! Eraser Head is a terrible teacher!"

"I'm what!"

"Who would have imagined at the beginning of this race there would be this much surprises! The first to make it back to the stadium is the first place winner... Izuku Midoria is our champion!"

The crowds cheered as the first place winner of the race entered the stadium.

As for our ravenet she came right behind him as the boy panted for a bit while she looked completely normal.

"Hey Midoria/Deku!"

Upon hearing his name he turned to see the Greig and Uraraka

"Deku! That was amazing!" Uraraka said happily then panted

"O..oh thank you" Deku stuttered and tried to hide himself using his arms

"Yeah! You even got me by surprise" Kaitlyn said with a grin, rubbing the back of her head

"I can believe you got first place, I'm so jealous"

With all the praise, Deku got flustered and blushed

"N..no, it was nothing"

'It's not like I had some big plan, I tried a few things that worked out better then I could have hoped for, any of those gambles could have gone wrong, I was just lucky that's all' he thought to himself

Then he felt someone's hand on his shoulder

"It may have been just luck but having luck and fast instincts is still a good thing to have, so cheer up ok"

Kaitlyn said with a warm smile

'How did she know what I was thinking?'

"Because I'm a mind reader"

"W..wait, are you really"

"Pft, no I'm not, I can just tell from you expression and movements, that's all" she patted his shoulder "but your right, your true ability will be judged in the next trail"

'She can read me like a book'

"A quite easy book at that"

Now he was completely terrified, while Kaitlyn simply laughed and smiled at his expression
