Kaitlyn's POV

"What kind of person would hurt a kid! You Bastard!" I said furiously

"You little brat! I'll make you PAY!!!"

(Flashback: Just after they separated)

I then went back to try and find my sword, sneaking around the place without anyone finding me, I went to room to room then finally I found the armoury, the place where that ninja I Hypnotized told me to go, it was unguarded, 'perfect' this was my chance to get my sword back, that is if it was here, I really hope it was. I snuck into the room and searched, they had kunai's, katana's, bombs everything needed for a ninja. I really wanted to play around with their weaponry, but I don't want to get caught, so best not to. In the end I looked all over and... nothing

"Where did they put it?" I whispered

Then suddenly I felt a chill, whenever I get this feeling it's when something happens or is happening somewhere.

"What could it be?" I said to myself, then I heard footsteps coming past the door I came in threw, they were talking about something so I listened in on their conversation in case it's about my sword.

"Hey! Did you hear about that guy who was sentence to the severe punishment, he apparently escaped and is going after Naruto Uzumaki?"

"Wait, you mean that demon kid?"

"Yeah, I hope he succeeds, the village would be safer without him running around..."

"Quiet! You don't want anyone to hear you say that, or else you'll get punished."

"yeah, right"

When they finish their conversation and left, I ran as fast as I could back to Naruto.

"I never should have left him alone, now there's someone trying to kill him, Damn it! Damn it! DAMN IT!" I cursed myself for being so stupid.

I came back to where me and Naruto were, but he wasn't here

"NARUTO!!!" I yelled out

'Naruto, where are you?' then a few seconds later I heard a scream. With no hesitation, I ran into the direction of the sound and ended up in an alley and saw some guy holding a kunai at Naruto's throat. I was so mad, I quickly ran to them and kicked the guy in the face.

I picked up the kunai from the ground and held it in my hand. The other guy grabbed another kunai and came in for the kill

"Die!!!" He yelled

I then diverted his pathetic attempt of an attack, kicked him in the gut, he fell to his keens and grabbed his stomach.

"Geesh man, you pretty weak"

He then smirked evilly and came at me with a hidden kunai from his sleeve.

"DON'T GET COCKY KID!"

I grabbed his arm and may have accidently brocken his wrist (She did it on purpose).

"I'd never fall for a trick like that." I said as he cursed in pain.

"WHY WOULD YOU CARE ABOUT THIS FREAK! oh, I get it, you're here for his power aren't you! That's it now, you're after the nine tails power!" he said like a crazy guy

"what are you talking about?"

"Don't act dumb, that's all that little FREAK! is good for!"

"BAMM!" I punched him so hard in the face that he went through the wall. 'I might have, over did it? all well, that bastard deserved it!' I then went over to him and he was out cold.

"He's not going to wake up from that for a while"

After confirming he was down, I ran over to Naruto who was laying down on the ground.

"Naruto!" I ran back to where he was. I picked him up in my arms, his injuries were bad, he had bruises, cuts and blood all over his body and dry tears on his face. I got angry again, 'You must have been in so much pain, I'm so sorry...' I then put my hand on Naruto's heart, and white flames appeared over my hand then spreading all over his body. He was now covered in my white flames and slowly he was healed. I sighed, relieved that he was now fine, you couldn't even tell that he was almost beaten to death, but using that power of mine drains a lot out of me.

I was now tired, 'he was way worse then I first thought' I said in my head, then Naruto started to open his eyes, I smiled at him.

"Hey, what's up sleeping beauty."

"Kaitlyn? Wait what happen, where's that guy and how am I all healed?" he said very fast

"Cool it kid, everything's fine, the guy is over there out cold and I healed you" I said, confirming him that everything's alright.

He sat there taking it all in, then started crying.

"W...what's wrong! don't tell me your still hurt!" I said waving my hands all over panicking, I wasn't very good at managing people crying, I just didn't know what to do. He then went and hugged me and I was totally surprised, for two reasons, I didn't expect it and I didn't like hugs. I'd usually push people away when they try to hug me but he was trembling, so I didn't, instead I held the back of his head and rubbed his back.

"it's okay now, Naruto, no need to cry now." I said with a calm voice.

"I... I... I was so scared!" he said while his face was in my shirt

"There, there, I promise I will be there to save you"

"You Promise, 'sniff'"

"Yeah, I Promise"
