Naruto's POV

(Flashback)

I woke up around 10 O'clock "damn, I over slept!" I soon got ready to go and see gramps, to ask him how the stranger is doing, so out the door I went.

When I got to the hokages building there was a commotion around the place and they sent me away, "BUT I NEED TO SEE GRAMPS!"

"You heard me kid, now just go home already!" the guy finished, I glared at him before I went back out of there sight.

Soon I turned around and went to the prison "if I can't see gramps then I'll just go get him out myself!"

I ran past the security avoiding anyone. The place seemed unguarded so it was easy. I reached a hallway and ran through it until I bumped into something. The fall hurt and when I looked up, it was him. It was the guy in the hood who saved me.

"Hey! It's you again, what are you doing here?" he said looking down at me and reached his hand out, so I grabbed it to heaved myself up.

"So, you going to answer my question kid?" he asked, I then looked at him and smiled

"I came to break you out of here." I said proudly

"You know you're going to get yourself into trouble, right, and what about your parents?" he said with a concerned tone

"I... I don't have any, a family that is... but we better get going now, come on I know the way out." I then turned around trying not to face him because I didn't want him to get even more worried.

I thought to myself. Why did I tell him that? why? I... I just don't know? But I lead him to the way I got in, and like before the security was terrible. We snuck through with ease, then finally we were out.

I turned around at the stranger and said "hey! Do you have any were to go?"

He replied saying, "Nope, oh and by the way kid, thanks for helping me out." He said then smiled and placed his hand on my head, raffling my hair

"Ha, no need to say that, after all, were even now." I said, with a little blush on my face, because no one has ever thanked me before. He retreated his hand from my head, leaving me a little disappointed

"Well kid? I think I should get going now, I got to find a place to hide."

"You can hide out in my place!" I quickly suggested

"Are you sure kid, I don't want to get you into more trouble." He voiced his concern

I then looked down, sad about parting ways, I kind of wanted to get to know him more.

"Well... as long as we don't get caught, I guess it's should be fine." He said then smiled even bigger and brighter.

I looked up with wide eyes, joy and other emotions swelling up in me, I smiled at him, happy that he was going to stay over.

"So, kid what's your name?" He asked

"My Name is Naruto Uzumaki!" I said loud and clear

"Nice to meet you Naruto."
