Chapter 2: Relax Would You

No One's POV

Now a week had passed since the arrival of the new student, Kaden Craig.

Kaden had gotten popular amongst those in his grade and below, due to his friendly nature and smarts, but most of all, his pranks~

The second day in, Kaden had dyed a male students clothes pink for picking off money from a smaller kid. Then later that day, the same student came back with his friends in toe, to try and get payback.

It didn't turn out well for them.

On the third day, during class, there was a giant smoke explosion which covered the classroom, and when it disappeared, nearly everyone was dressed in clothes of the opposite gender. Girls in Boy clothes and Boys in girls. So the unlucky boys were in awfully short skirts.

No one knew who did it, until later they realised only one student in particular was grinning broadly at the scene.

The fourth day people grew curious and tried to figure out who was the one behind the pranks, but it was clear to them who the prankster was since the arrival of the new kid. The only problem is... there was no proof of the other being responsible for theses events.

The boys who had picked on others, never spoke of who had pranked them. Being frightful of the price to pay for if they were to blab.

In the end, confrontations were made, and the answer was this...

"Yup~! That was me~!"

The ravenet didn't even try to deny it, but instead grinned mischievously at them and walked away.

On the fifth day, people waited for the prank to happen, feeling tense and jumpy at any unnecessary sounds. It was so bad that someone was sweating up a storm, before actually storming out of the room once class was over. No one was pranked that day, but Kaden knew he had won.

Out of all those that were in the ravenets class, only one person was immune to the pranksters tricks and dodged them within the last few seconds before they happen.

...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...

"AURA~!"

Kaden yelled, running up to the hooded mint-haired boy.

Not stopping to turn to the raven, the blue eyed boy continued his pace, knowing that even if ignored, the rat tailed boy would still follow.

Once caught up, Kaden grinned friendly at the other.

"Good morning~!"

Aura didn't reply back, but Kaden didn't seem to mind or expect one. Simply waking alongside the other.

For the majority of the first week, Kaden had been going about looking for the hooded teen and simply hang with the other, while rarely asking questions that were either answered with a annoyed huff or the cold shoulder.

No matter how many brush offs the raven teen got, he always persisted and found things out for himself.

In the beginning, Kaden had asked around about the mint teen and the results were... promising.

Apparently, the hooded boy was well known and feared because of his psychotic behaviour and fights. Rumour is, he even injured a teacher and wasn't expelled for it because of reasons which involve that teacher being a possible sexual assaulter to their students.

But it's was because of this that everyone, even teachers, grew cautious of the teen.

While rumours say one thing, Kaden thinks another.

Aura wasn't a bad kid, more likely, he was suffering from something emotional or mentally challenging that was hard to decipher, even for the world traveler. This encouraged Kaden, since he was curious to know more, but most of all, he just felt comfortable around the kid.

There was a sense of familiarity with the hooded teen, one that Kaden enjoyed after searching through his memory and figured out why.

The boy reminded the raven of an old friend/sister figure he had long ago. One that had the same name as him. They even looked similar. The only thing was that their personalities were different.

But this was enough for Kaden to decide that he wanted to be friends with the other.

The two walked for a bit until they were outside of the school building.

Kaden saw a perfect tree to nap and bolted for it, dragging Aura along with.

"Oi! What the heck!?" The mint head exclaimed, watching as the raven boy continued to drag him by the arm towards a shaded tree.

Once there, the rat-tailed boy released his hostage and proceeded to twist and flop back on the grass, shaded by the tree.

"Relaxation~!" He sighed with a easy smile.

"The Hell?" Aura growled, watching the other lay down relaxed and content. "Why the hell did you drag me here?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Kaden opened an eye to stare up at him "We're here to chill and relax~"

"I never said I wanted that!"

"You didn't have to." The black haired teen closed his eye and folded his arms behind his head as a meat pillow. "The previous week, you had been walking around school constantly everyday because there is no place for you. You would stay back in your desk at class, but it's too packed with other students for you to really relax. Plus you like it better when its slightly quiet and not too noisy."

"Are you some kind of weirdo stalker?!"

"That's Hurtful!" Kaden glared, but there was no heat. "I'm just awesomely observant~!"

"Wherever weirdo."

Kaden saw how hard it was for the other to not roll his eyes, making him grin and relax back.

"Come on, just sit back and relax would you, before break is over." He patted the free grass area of shade "I'd say we could skip on classes, but I only do that after my fifth week~"

It had taken a while, but the other teen relented and sat close to the tree and leaned back on its trunk, one knee bent, arms folded and hood pulled down.

They stayed this way for the entirety of break, content to just laying around and enjoy the gentle breeze and comfortable semi quiet sounds of the students and birds.
